Great place to stay. Has a beautiful view in the front with a fire pit and seating to enjoy while relaxing. Spacious house. Especially with the open concept of kitchen, dining and living rooms for everyone to come together to socialize before or after we went out for our adventures for the day.

What a great house

We had a great time at this house. It was roomy and comfortable, and even our picky teen had a great time. The neighborhood offers just about anything you might want nearby, including shopping, hiking and all kinds of restaurants.

Beautiful location! The house was perfect. We had a plumbing issue in one of the bathrooms and they fixed it within a few hours. Would stay at this house again.

What a treasure! This house was immaculate upon arrival! The kitchen was well-appointed in terms of dishes and cookware. The interior of the house is very comfortable, and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well. The location is great, too. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Safeway is just a mile away. The house is close enough to anywhere in Sedona that you want to get to, yet far enough out of the busy and crowded downtown area. We definitely recommend staying at the Chimney Rock Escape!

Overall, the property was great! The only complaint is that the pool was not clean and not cleaned on Friday as stated in the information. The pool was the main reason this property was chosen for my grandchildren, so this part was very disappointing.

Chimney Rock Escape had a great view out the front window and is located in a quiet neighborhood close to hiking trails and shopping. The open living room was spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. There is also a cabinet with some family games and puzzles. The master bedroom and bath was very comfortable with plenty of space and nice attached bathroom. One bedroom was located next door with a hall bath nearby. The bed in this room was a little high for my mother but would be fine for a younger person. It is also positioned on the colder side of the house. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom in between them on the other side of the house. Communication between us and the host was very good and timely.

1) the pool was VERY dirty and full of bird feces 2) the kitchen sink cold water facet and drinking water filter were broken 3) there was a fire alarm that needed batteries that beeped all night long

1. The master bath toilet is not bolted down. It just sits on the floor. Someone put a paper towel or tissue on one side to balance it. 2. Light bulbs needed in a couple of the bedrooms. 3. The gates need repaired 4. The front courtyard and backyard were not swept. 5. Not sure which towels go to which bathroom since they all were in the dyer when we got here. The towels had a bad odor. 6. Mold/mildew in the jack-Jill bathroom. 6. When I booked this rental months ago, the check in time was 3 pm. The day before checking I received a notice that check in was not until 4 pm. It was not appreciated since I specifically called and confirmed that check-in was at 3 o'clock. We got here around 3:15 or so. And could not open the door. We were finally given a temporary code. Didn't get off to a good start.

The house was in a great location. Property listing was very accurate. The house was unfortunately not properly cleaned. It was very dusty and stale smelling. The lounge cushion & rugs were very dusty. I am acutely asthmatic and struggled to breathe in the house. There was dirty cutlery in the dishwasher from previous guests. The bathrooms were not properly cleaned; the mats were wet from prior use. We let the property manager know; they sent out the cleaning crew and they did not vacuum and mop as promised. So very disappointing service overall. Not up to standard for a VRBO property and for the price we paid per night. Please get a new cleaning company who cares about their service.

Renter Beware!First off, the house is in a great location, quiet dead end street, close to nearby trails, and to a grocery store, shops and restaurants. The house presents itself very well in the photos. After staying there, I can see that the photos were taken many years ago. And now the house is showing its age and wear. The photos are not representative of what you will be renting today. We encountered many issues:The code to enter the home did not work. The pool was filthy with black debris both floating, on the bottom and all green with algae.After a call, the pool company came the next day. Unfortunately, after their visit the pool was still dirty, green and wasn’t unusable.Pool is also not heated. They neglect to mention that on the VRBO listing.The fabric on all 4 pool lounge chairs had rips.Back sliding screen door would not close.Front fire pit area all full of ash never cleaned and chairs around all need to be replaced.Lights over oven did not work (vent hooded lights).Large oven had no instructions on how to operate and not self-evident. Printed welcome book in house and the digital instructions of check out contradict each other. If you were a party of 8, the kitchen amenities would not accommodate you.Toilet in primary bath still not tied down into floor properly, bath vent filthy. General cleaning and maintenance is lacking. Not what one would expect based on the price and the photos shown. Take the time to read all the reviews as there are some poor no ones

Beautiful home that seemed bigger and more secluded in on-line pictures. Disappointed that sacks of smelly garbage were left in garage and not able to watch Suns games
