LIVING ROOM –
Awe-inspiring two-story windows with 2 story custom oak tree wood carving from renowned local artist opening up to panoramic views of Downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg Gondola & the Great Smoky Mountains! The living room connects to the kitchen and dining room with a beautiful, two story, gas fireplace setting this great room apart and making it perfect for entertaining! It is warm, cozy and ready for you to relax and enjoy the views or binge watch from the 55" HD Flat Screen TV & brand new, plush leather furniture. This unique cabin has a very large, private backyard with a large private firepit, outdoor dining table and beautiful wooden rockers. Fireplace season is October through March.

You never need to leave the cabin to enjoy your vacation with three separate entertainment areas to enjoy! These are filled with everything from a full size classic pool table and foosball to arcade games and TVs!

Lower floor of the cabin has an expansive game room complete with:

BEDROOMS
The cabin sleeps up to 12 guests with 5 cozy bedrooms and a queen mattress pull out sofa in the living room. Each bedroom is appointed with beautiful cabin themed quilts, hand crafted log frame beds and cozy comforters.

BACKYARD GARDEN – Nearly unheard of in the mountains, large outdoor backyard with three beautiful areas to enjoy! Large firepit with plenty of seating, complete with view of downtown Gatlinburg and the Ober Gatlinburg Gondola traveling literally over your head! There is also a section with private rockers and a garden view and a table for outdoor dining with a view!

DECKS - 3 decks (two off the back of the cabin and the front deck off the master bedroom), rocking chair seating, outdoor dining table, hot tub and stunning views

DINING ROOM – Rustic wooden dining table with seating for 8 right near the kitchen bar with seating for 4 more. The deck connected to the kitchen & living room also has an outdoor dining table perfect for 6 to enjoy dinner and four large high back Adirondack chairs.

KITCHEN – Well-appointed with all the major utensils, silverware, dishes, glasses and cookware needed for you to create & serve gourmet meals. Electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, toaster, etc.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES –
• Access to Chalet Village Facilities which include 3 different club houses, three separate pool facilities including water-slide, children’s play fountain, four tennis courts, two game rooms with pool table, foosball, air hockey, arcade games, children’s play structure, concession stands & more. These facilities are included with your stay with seasonal swimming pools available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

• Convenient pull through driveway making it easy to pull in and out of the cabin and plenty of space for 5 standard size SUVs. No RV or trailer parking permitted.

Neighborhood & additional information:
The cabin is in the premier community of Chalet Village, Gatlinburg, Tennessee and our property is adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The views from cabin of the Great Smoky Mountains are breathtaking and we are only 2.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park!

Our close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park means there is lots of wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, fox, and more! Black bears visit the cabin often in Spring, Summer and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.

When you've had enough relaxation, look forward to endless entertainment in the surrounding area; you'll be in the perfect spot to explore through winding hiking trails and world-class ski slopes in the Great Smoky Mountains. Other local attractions can be found in downtown Gatlinburg, including delectable restaurants, intriguing shops, the always-entertaining alpine slides, and even a moonshine distillery! During your time here, make sure to visit the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area, which offers terrific skiing in the colder months, a ski mountain coaster, an aerial tramway, and many other thrilling attractions!

The cabin is located on a mountain road. We strongly recommend trip insurance, especially during the winter since there are no refunds for snow and ice. In difficult winter or storm related weather situations there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control.

Gatlinburg Getaway

Perfect! We planned to stay as close to Gatlinburg as possible while still having the cabin experience. The location of this property was perfect! Only a 5-10 minute drive from the "strip" AND an amazing view of Gatlinburg!! The Cabin was everything we hoped it would be! The photos represent it very well. It has a 3 tier deck! It also has a backyard with a firepit! This is very rare for a cabin with such an amazing view. Plenty of room and activities inside as well. This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It already has ALL of the basic necessities. The check in was so simple. The same with checking out. The hosts communicated everything you would need to know, not only by email, but there is also the most clever book inside the cabin with everything listed as well as information regarding restaurants and activities in the area. Be prepared, with a view like that you are on the top of a mountain. The roads are narrow and curvy and the driveway is tight but very sufficient. Such a great experience! We were hoping to see bears, but did not. We will definitely return!

They weren’t kidding about the bears

The house was a little smaller than the pictures let on. But the house was very cozy and close to all the activities we were visited every night I bear they even got into the car one night. The host are very helpful.

Great location

Great cabin, close to downtown Gatlinburg. Saw many bear but they left us alone, even when we were grilling. Could use new beds and pillows. Every time someone rolled over, the beds would squeak loudly. Other than that, we had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Amazing views

The views were unbeatable and we had everything we needed during the stay. The hills as stated are very steep but after a few trips up and down not so bad. The firepit and gathering spots were beautiful but with all the bear activity we didn’t take the children off the decks lol. We had multiple sightings daily on the property beneath us and in the driveway but no issues and welcomed the experience! We enjoyed the cabin and family time!

The community sits on the mountain in between Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountains National Park and the iconic Mt LeConte with views of both the town and mountains as you drive through the community. The biggest benefit of this community is that is has three HOA community pools, two tennis courts, a gym, and a community market. It is just minutes to the entrance to the National Park, downtown Gatlinburg and provides the perfect Smoky Mountain setting with a blend of mountain privacy and community amenities. This really is the ideal place to spend your time in the Smokies.

We really believe that Mountain Bearadise Cabin is unique! We try to provide something that will inspire joy for anyone in your family! First, we want you to relax when you are here. There are two incredible decks offering unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountains. We love drinking a cup of coffee and breathing in the fresh mountain air just getting lost in the beauty of the National Park views! The entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park is only 2.5 miles down the hill and allows you to jump right in the park without the traffic of Gatlinburg! Here you will find all the hiking and tourism you could possibly desire!

We designed the cabin so that you can spend your whole vacation here and never leave! There are two recreation spaces in the cabin filled with things to do! We have an arcade game unit, free for your use, with 60 classic games, foosball table, pool table and hand-crafted log poker table with poker set! Relax in the hot tub and then enjoy watching the wildlife that lives around the cabin!

Finally, if you choose to go out and explore Gatlinburg, we are less than 2.3 miles from downtown and right near the Gatlinburg bypass if you want to jump over to Dollywood or Pigeon Forge. We are only 0.5 miles from Ober Gatlinburg if you are coming for a family ski trip! Our unique location allows for you to get to any place you desire with ease.
