This is definitely one of the coolest houses in Kansas City. The house itself is amazing architecture. It is built on 3 lots and has a beautiful pool that's open year round and a rooftop hot tub with amazing views. There is an 85" TV with SONOS surround sound and speakers integrated throughout the house. There is a lot of custom artwork from all over the world. All the linens are 100% cotton high thread count and the beds are top of the line Stearns & Foster ultra luxury plush mattresses. We put a lot of effort into making sure every detail of the house is to the highest standard. You will without a doubt love staying here. We have outdoor cameras for safety and security and noise sensors. Pool heating is not included, there is a daily fee for that ($100). *PARTIES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED* Early/late check-in/outs fee may apply.

Perfect for a summer getaway

We stayed with a group of friends for a bachelorette celebration and this was the perfect spot - between the beautiful and clean pool, nights in the hot tub with the downtown view, and proximity to great restaurants and bars this stay made for an amazing weekend. I would definitely recommend this property!

Quiet Oasis

We loved this stay. The views were great and the property felt very secluded while within short drives to where we needed to go. Property managers were very accommodating when we needed to edit our booking. Would stay again.

The house was amazing! Although it’s in the city it felt very private. Playing music in every room of the house and swimming in the pool was much needed for all of us parents! I 100% recommend

We went to baseball game in Kansas and stayed at this home it is AMAZING beautiful home.. pool is amazing..the bed was so big and comfortable..quiet area but yet close to everything. Communication was great..would definitely recommend this house well worth it will be using it again in the future..***** 5 star

Amazing pool, jacuzzi & view

Overall the stay was wonderful for 6 of us. There are 2 king beds and it was the comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in. More than enough room for 2 people in each bed. I’ve never slept in a bed so comfortable in my life and the pillows were amazing. The upstairs couch is a pull out so another friend slept there. The couch downstairs is also large and another friend slept there. There were 3 bathrooms and 2 showers which was great for us. They had extra blankets and extra sheets. We were told there was also an air mattress but I didn’t end up needing it. The pool was AMAZING. We went back and forth from the pool to the roof top hot tub and having those options was incredible. The view in the day and at night was wonderful. They had plenty of towels and beach towels for us. Parking was also a breeze! I think some of the reviews I’ve read are extremely harsh - this is truly a GEM and it was worth every penny! I would for sure stay here again. My only slight complaint is we ran out of toilet paper and the trash bags were hard to find. Overall - the view was perfect and I would recommend this VRBO. Thank you!!!!!

From the very beginning, this stay was an issue. The host wouldn't accept my 2 night stay request and said there was a 3 night minimum, which was not listed anywhere. Then the listing for the property was taken down a few months later. It took days for the host to respond, so I thought I was getting set up with this property. She finally responded, but that was just the beginning of poor communication. I had to call VRBO support to get ahold of the host to get our check in information, and this was just only 30 min prior to check in. Our second night there, we were outside at the pool, and the neighbors called the host saying we were too loud. The host and I'm assuming the property manager both called and text, but I was in the pool and didn't get the notices until 30 min after they notified us. They both immediately responded with, "Get out of the pool now, turn the music off, and get inside or you will be evicted with no money return." We didn't even have music on and this was at 9:30p on a Friday. Then the host had the nerve to say I was unresponsive just 30 min after she called, when she took days or VRBO support to get in touch with. Once we went inside, the ceiling was leaking, and not just a slight drip. I called the property manager, who insisted that I go upstairs and find the source of the leak, showing little effort on his end. He later said, "Well that wasn't so hard was it?" after I found the dehumidifier to be the source of the leak. Overall, the house and the pool was a nice space, but it's not even worth it. They also didn't disclose that there's cameras ALL OVER the property, which is just unacceptable. He told me at one point that he looked at the camera, so I know they're being monitored. We had one guest go to the incorrect house because the parking is a little different at this property. The owner of that house said this happens all the time and to let the host know that they have a poor description of how to get to the property, which I would have to agree with. 0/10 recommend staying here.

We had a great experience at this property for a bachelorette party. The pool was great and location was a short Uber ride to bars. Would recommend!

No privacy, hard to relax.

The house and pool were nice. However, for the price you pay the neighborhood is not desirable. The biggest frustration was that the owner stopped by unannounced while we were staying there and stayed for awhile. Then two other unexpected visits from maintenance, and they entered the house without any communication. When you rent a house for your family you want privacy. This was not the case at this VRBO. Communication from the property manager was poor. We did not receive access information to the house until 30 minutes from our arrival. Neighborhood kids knocked on our door asking to swim in the pool. There are cameras all over the property, including inside of the house. Don't waste your money.

Many small issues added up

When we showed up, there was tons of trash in the driveway. Check in was after 4, but when we arrived the cleaning people were still there working. Food was left in fridge from previous guests. Our bedroom closets door handle was ripped off. A broken broom and trash bag were left in the dining room. House was beautiful, and pool and hot tub were great. However, microwave was broken, fridge was leaking water at one point, and there weren't any bowls. Neighbor kids showed up at the door asking to use the pool and were rude. The owner randomly showed up to water plants without warning as well. At one point when we were out, he came in the house and watched tv/hung out/moved stuff and didn't even lock up when he left. Beautiful home but lots of little issues that interrupted our stay. For the price, I expected better.

Inaccurate property description

Listing says property sleeps 8, but what it left out is that 4 of those people will be sleeping on an air mattress. Smoke detectors were removed from the walls, WiFi went out 24 hours before our stay was over, the towels had stains on them and there were stray cats constantly at the door.

Perfect local getaway

Beautiful property and had everything we needed for cooking, extra towels for pool/shower, pool toys, linens, etc. There's a large field and playground across the street that was perfect for walking my dog and letting my kids play outside.

My family loved this property! Great private pool, relaxing hot tub with amazing view of KCs Union Station and WWI museum. Nice location with convenient access to anywhere you want to go. Cant wait to come back.

Unique home with great amenities

Overall lovely place to stay, and the pool was great! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that we didn't receive any check-in info prior to getting to the location (the owner did meet us there to assist but that wasn't communicated ahead of time and I was worried we would arrive without knowing how to check-in).
