HOUSE RULES:

+ Guests from the local area must send an inquiry or request prior to booking and describe the nature of their stay. Failure to comply can result in automatic cancellation.
+ Quiet hours start at 10 pm as a courtesy to our neighbors.
+ No smoking, vaping, or burning anything allowed inside the property. The smell of smoke will result in a $300 charge to rid of the smell.
+ Unauthorized EVENTS or PARTIES are NOT allowed. We have ZERO TOLERANCE for parties. The party will be broken up before it starts, your reservation will be canceled without a refund, and you will be charged $700 extra.
+ Please do not use the white linens to remove makeup
+ Please use make-up remover cloth. Stained towels or bedding will result in extra charges
+ Please make sure you grabbed all your items before you leave. There is a $75 fee to coordinate / ship left items.
+ Please load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
+ There would be a hazardous waste removal fee for any hazardous waste left behind.

We were in town for the NCAA Volleyball Final Four. The location was an easy walk to T-MOBILE Center. Also close to drinking and dining options. The property was also pet friendly and close to dog park.

Awesome stay for sports getaway with friends

We had a nice stay with friends for the weekend when we were in town for a football game. It was lovely to have time together to laugh and tell stories and eat each night, and this home was perfect for our gathering.

Great place!

It’s not easy to find a ln affordable, nice house, that has three king size beds, plus a full size bed too! Perfect for our group (three couples and an almost 18 year old). They had fun games there as well. House is cute and location was great. We stayed here while in town to watch Tampa Bay play KC. Definitely recommend!

Great stay in a cute neighborhood

We loved the property! Very comfortable, and plenty of room. The furniture was all comfortable and bedding was nice. Everything was super clean and the owner was very nice— responsive and flexible. The coffee shop is very cool and no need to travel far for great KC BBQ— definitely check out Wolfepack down the street for a cocktail and great meal. We also enjoyed the nearby park and river market.

Girls weekend

We really like the aesthetics of the property. Decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable. The only time we heard the quests above is when the came home from being out and heard them going up the stairs. The area was nice and the restaurant suggestions were on point. The property is well lit and secure with camera’s from the neighbors. The city market was close and a fun event to do. The owner was very nice to work with.

Disappointed

The place was clean. However, the neighborhood was a bit shady and really run down. On our way to Aldi’s close to the property there were a lot of homeless and many appeared either drunk or on drugs. It was a very scary neighborhood. In fact I did not feel comfortable taking my morning walks. Please note this is a two story VRBO. We were in the lower level with a VERY loud second floor renter. There 4 children were running as early as 6:30 in the morning and as late as 11:00 at night. Fortunately we spent the days away from the VRBO. Coming back was not something we looked forward to. If you don’t mind the possibility of noisy loud 2nd floor renters or a run down neighborhood this place is for you.

Thanks for the review Deborah. We love our neighborhood and our neighbors. Especially with all the restaurants just around the corner. We understand inner city stays are not for everyone as not everyone has the stomach for interaction with a individuals of various socio-economic statuses. We think we note it very clearly in our listing that this is a bottom unit of a duplex and you're right. Our place is not the right fit for those with a high sensitivity to noise levels. However most of our guests report hearing minimal to no noise from the upstairs unit.

Better than the photos!

The place was adorable and perfect for our family. We were in town for a convention and the commute to the convention center was very easy. I had my parents and 11-month-old son with me along with a colleague and there was plenty of space. It was very clean and homey. Would definitely stay there again.

There is the city-famous Garrozo's fine Italian restaurant just around the corner. The best Italian food in the whole city! Perfect place for a date or cocktails with friends.

Happy Gillis is a cute and delicious breakfast-brunch-lunch diner! Farm to table type dishes.

Some of the best Pho in the city can be found at Vietnam Cafe! Just around the corner!

Enjoy a walk to Columbus Park and have a picnic or let the kiddos play on the public playground! Enjoy Kansas City's skyline from the park as well!
