Owners were very helpful and house was extremely well stocked! Hair dryers, kitchen tools and food supplies, high chair (even though we didnât need it) everything you needed!
Location was great, close enough to town but very quiet and private in the woods.
Great location within minutes of Breck. Friendly fox hung out almost every afternoon in the area and one morning a moose walked past the back patio window.
Great place to stay! The unit was clean and very well cared for. Wonderful kitchen with all of the cooking amenities you could ask for, which is very helpful for those traveling with kids. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.
We were looking for a place that was close enough to Breckenridge that we could easily get downtown, but not so close that we had to deal with crowds. Rich's place fit this description perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.
This stay exceeded our expectations! The spacious home was immaculate & provided our family more than enough elbow room & privacy, yet big family room spaces to gather. The host provided absolutely everything that was needed for our 4 day stay. So much nicer in person than what the photos depict. Highly recommend for just the right âcabin in the woodsâ vibe, yet so conveniently located within short distance to the resort area. Thanks to Rich for providing our family the best, most memorable first trip to Breck!!
We are four retired men that come to ski once a year. We had plenty of room in this property and were very comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen and the grill on the deck was a nice feature that we used twice. The road up can be a little tricky if there is a lot of snow but we had no problem with our 4 wheel drive vehicle. Itâs about an 8 minute drive to the gondola parking lot. Be sure to understand the limitations of the TV set up and bring with you the steaming device that you will need. A true smart TV would be helpful but the tv has HDMI inputs so our cheap ROKU device worked well. We did not use the wood burning fireplace but it looked like it would be a very cozy, romantic experience.
Great location just outside of town and absolutely loved the ambience of the mountain home. Everything was great for what we were looking for. Overall just a nice relaxing time
This property was located Conveniently to Breckenridge, Frisco and Keystone.
Running this property versus easy as Iâve ever read any property in the location was great and the communication between the owner and myself was excellent. Look forward to future stats
We had a great experience staying at this property. Kitchen was well stocked, beds weâre comfortable, location was great. We had 2 families (8 people) and had plenty of space. The owner was more than accommodating along with great communication!
We're a family that has lived in Colorado for 30 years, in Breckenridge and Boulder. We love to share our mountain chalet with guests from far and wide. We're skiers, climbers, runners, bikers, fishers, hikers and you name it. We're happy to make suggestions and provide local information about things to do or places to see. Our home in Breckenridge is an awesome basecamp for adventure and enjoying the great outdoors and all Colorado has to offer. We invite you to come and stay!
The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and remote, just 10 min. from downtown Breckenridge. Spectacular views of Mt. Baldy and plenty of sunshine. Moose, fox, snowshoe hare, and other wildlife may be spotted. The home is 1/2 of a duplex on 1.5 acres of lovely forest, backing to open space. A 2 minute walk to numerous trails, and short mile to the Blue River where you can fish or access the bus or bike path. Skiing, snowshoeing and biking right out your door. The home is easily accessed just minutes off of Hwy 9, via a maintained and plowed county road. Broken Compass Brewery, Breckenridge Distillery and other great restaurants are right down the hill on Airport Rd. Thank you for respecting and preserving our beautiful area.
There's a free town bus or Summit Stage available nearby on Airport Rd or Hwy 9. Free ski area parking with access to Gondola 5 mins away on Airport Rd. The Peaks Trail (USFS) and Barton Creek Trails are out your door. It's a 2 min drive or 20 min ski/walk to Breck Nordic Trails. The Breckenridge Golf Course and fishing on the Blue River is 10 min away. Note: All vehicles during ski season should have 4WD/AWD or good snow tires to safely drive the plowed county roads up to the house-watch your speed going downhill.
