Peaceful Adobe Compound 2 Houses between Taos TSV - Mountain Views, Hot Tub

Welcome to Pinon Paradise, our serene mountain retreat! Located between Taos (10 miles) and the Ski Valley (9 miles), it is perfect for summer and winter activities. Shops and restaurants in Arroyo Seco are only 3 miles away. This listing is to rent BOTH the Main House and smaller casita, perfect for multiple families or trips with grandparents! The homes are about 20 yards apart, each with their own parking and hot tub.

The property is truly special and unique. The extensively landscaped grounds are incredible. Guests are encouraged to pick and eat seasonal herbs and vegetables as well as cuttings from the wildflower garden. Depending on the time of year, you may be able to enjoy herbs, fresh vegetables, apples and grapes! In the winter, the snowy backdrop is the perfect end to a powdery ski day.

The main home has high vigas ceilings and radiant heat floors. The back of the house has breathtaking views of Taos Mountain and spectacular sunrises. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare meals. There are two king bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa (that is actually comfortable! It is a platform pull out with a gel mattress). There is one full bathroom. Outside, there is a private hot tub with overhead string lights. The hot tub has views of the mountain that are the perfect end to a long day. The fire pit is surrounded by four large Adirondack chairs and encourages you to sit and relax (blankets are provided for the cool desert evenings).

The casita has high Vigas ceilings and radiant heat through the custom slate floor. Beneath a bank of windows with mountain views is a one of a kind sandbox- it can be used as a zen sand meditation garden, or hours of play for young and old alike! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare meals. There is one king bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa (same comfy gel mattress). There is one full bathroom. Outside, there is a private hot tub with overhead string lights.

If you are travelling with small children, there is a pack and play available.

While this is a new listing, this property has been rented for years with numerous five star reviews. We have decided to rent without a management company because we want to know you, our guests, better!

Great place in a great spot.

We really enjoyed this place. We rented both the main house and casita which was prefect for our group. Great views and super relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Texans go to Taos

We ended 2023 with a wonderful time skiing, shopping, and playing in New Mexico. The casa and casita were beautiful and quiet and a short drive to all our activities.

Great location for skiing

We took our adult children on a ski trip and this place was perfect! My husband and I enjoyed being at the main house for meals and visiting but being able to have our quiet privacy at the casita. Only about a 20 min drive to the slopes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The property owner was very attentive to the couple of inquiries we had.

Great get away!

The home was amazing. We liked the location because the distance to Taos Ski Valley. With having two homes on the property, this made it easy to have 4 adults and 4 kids be comfortable. The location was great, just hard to get too with narrow roads. Just glad the directions to get there were spot on.

Can't Get Enough!!

This is the second time that we've had a multi family stay at this property, and it hasn't failed to impress yet! When we started looking for our annual summer vacation spot, we were excited to see that this property was back on the market and available for the days we were going. As long as the listing has our dates open, we'll be coming back here for years to come!

We absolutely loved this property! The house and casita are so beautiful and charming. The views are spectacular. We loved the secluded location with easy access to the ski valley and to town. There were a couple of hiccups but the owner was quick to make things right. Overall we were pleased with our stay and would book again.

Best of both worlds

So peaceful! Sunrise with a view of the mountains was the perfect way to start the day and the firepit was the favorite gathering spot for everyone at night. The two lodging facility with two kitchens provided both privacy and gathering space.
