This house is full of history and charm. The Fisher Family purchased this Forest Service A-Frame cabin in the woods past Polebridge close to the Canadian border and piece by piece hauled and rebuild it here in the heart of Coram. It has just undergone a full remodel but still full of its original beauty and is the perfect place to hang your hat after you adventures.
The Hebron House has everything you will need and beautifully hand crafted at every turn. You will want to stay here while you come to explore Glacier!

We do live along the Great Northern Rail line that run all across our great Nation. We get to watch great industrious things go by upon its rails, though it does use it's horn through our town crossing.
This place is beautiful, quiet, huge, conveniently located, and private. The main floor was an ideal setting for our three families to hang out together after a long day of exploring glacier. The deck and grounds were expansive and offered even more opportunity for space to relax and play together. You canât even see any other houses from the Hebron house; itâs totally alone in the woods. We took advantage of the high line park discount as well and that was super fun. The negatives are pretty minor: I had read about the train noise and itâs true there are a lot of trains but we didnât find them disruptive at all. Itâs listed as air conditioned but the air conditioner is a window unit which is way undersized for this huge space. The loft space is really neat, but there are no doors on the shower nor on the toilet so the people staying up there better be real comfortable with each other.
So overall a wonderful retreat for a large group and very conveniently located.
Our family of 11 loved Hebron House! Beautiful, spacious, very clean, and close to Glacier National Park. We would definitely stay there again on future trips!
Beautifully decorated home ideally located close to GNP and local dining. We loved our stay and had plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen is wonderful for a large group and entertaining. Highly recommend for groups! Train is noisy starting around 2am so bring earplugs or sound machine. Owners are very accessible for questions.
Our band of three families with teen boys loved our Coram basecamp! The cabin easily fit our crew with enough comfy beds & couches. The kitchen is incredible & allowed for three families to gather, cook dinner & prep lunches all at the same time. The deck is a beautiful place to drink coffee & hang out for happy hour. We loved the green lawn for games. Beautifully redone & clean. Wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you for sharing your special place with us!
House is fabulous and kitchen is perfectly equipped for big meals. Trains can be a little noisy in the mornings while sleeping, so sound machines are recommended to help sleep through them (or keeping windows closed in evenings). Loved relaxing on the back deck in the evenings, too, and enjoying the beautiful vistas/sunsets!
Everyone in our family gathering of 10 adults fully enjoyed our stay here! The house is wonderful (photos do a great job capturing the entire space), and the location is perfect to access GNP. We cooked nearly all our meals in the home, the kitchen is well appointed and had all the essentials we needed. A couple things that might be helpful to know in advance: the upper loft with the two queen beds has a bathroom with minimal privacy (the shower is great but has no door); the dirt road leading to the property may be challenging for cars with low clearance (it was muddy from all the rain when we visited). Overall this house was perfect for our group, though - we couldn't have asked for a better home base to explore GNP!
We rented this house for a 9-person family trip and weâre not disappointed! The house itself is beautiful - surrounded by woods and with all the amenities needed to be comfortable. We had plenty of space to hang out together in the living area and took full advantage of the spacious kitchen! It was so helpful that basic supplies were stocked - laundry soap, paper goods, etc. the location was perfect too, close to GNP and reasonable drive to other areas like Whitefish. Owner was super helpful and responsive to all my questions prior to and during our stay! Would definitely recommend this property!
This house was beyond gorgeous. The wonderful family that owns it takes such care and pride in this house and it shows. Keshia and Karen are so responsive and make checking in super easy. My (now) husband and I found this beautiful place for our snow elopement. You walk in and automatically feel like youâre at home. It doesnât feel like a ârentalâ. We more than appreciate this stay and cannot wait to stay again. 1,0000000 stars out of them all would recommend you to stay!!
This was our 30th anniversary. We loved having our children and their spouses with us. The house accommodated us perfectly . It was just as the pictures and description said. We had a fantastic time and would recommend it for sure!
Lovely, spacious accommodations, very clean and well furnished. Cooked in most nights since a substantial drive to most restaurants. Kitchen well supplied. Very peaceful venue in the woods. Very close to west side of the park. Staying here really made our trip to GNP SPECIAL!!
Bob and Karen bought the raw land the house is located on in 1972. Bob was just home from service in Vietnam and Karen was still in high school. Bob is a 3rd generation Coram resident and Karen's family has lived in the Flathead Valley for 4 generations.
They purchased this Redwood A frame house from the Forest Service. It had to be disassembled, removed and the land reclaimed. The family...Bob, Karen and their 3 sons lived in their garage while they rebuilt the A frame home and finally moved in in 1988.
Both Bob and Karen are from very large families. Many holiday and family celebrations were held at the home for over 3 decades.
In recent years, having less need for such a large home, we decided to use it for a rental property. We have just completed a very significant remodel that is stunning and ready to host your family.
This home is very warm and inviting. Perfect for a large family. The setting is private and peaceful. Perfect for quiet coffee in the morning and restful after a busy day. The front deck is great for catching some sun and the beautiful yard is great for resting in the shade.
The property is located within 10 minutes from Glacier National Park, several rafting companies, Glacier Highline Aerial Adventure Park, helicopter tours and other activities around the park. The towns of Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls are also only minutes away. Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) is only 20 minutes away!
