Our stay at this house was great - the house is as beautiful as it seems. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and the upstairs hangout space, kitchen, and pool were a hit. The hosts were also great communicators and hooked us up with contacts of people who could help during our stay (taxi etc). The housekeeper came everyday and did a great job. I will note that the bottom bathrooms are open air - this led to a lot of bugs (mostly ants) being able to get in the rooms. It was fineâŠbut not ideal. Also, La veleta is up and coming⊠so donât expect this to necessarily feel like a âniceâ area. That said, we still enjoyed being able to walk to coffee shops and good restaurants in the area. And way more affordable than staying at the beach. We also felt safe in the area and the house. We would stay here again!
We had an unbelievable experience. The house was unbelievable and the hosts were extremely responsive. They helped with every taxi ride and even booked reservations for us. Air conditioning worked amazing which is extremely important. Thank you Emy and Jean we will be back.
It is a unique property in Tulum with its original design, its large roof top, its 180 degree sunset and its quality equipments, its 2 swimming pools and 3 Jacuzzi. Positioned in one of the best areas of Tulum you can walk to the bars and restaurants in the vicinity. The house is located 7 minutes from the beach.
La Veleta is a growing neighborhood near Cenote Cristal and Cenote Escondido, two swimming lakes nestled in the forest with turquoise waters teeming with fish. They are popular with both casual swimmers and snorkelers, as they offer access via wooden stairs, rest areas and diving platforms. Kukulkan and Palenque Avenues are surrounded by international restaurants, chic cafes, and friendly seafood restaurants.
