Thanks Triston, if parking were tight, you should have used the airplane hangar next door we recommended you park at, or at least all of the trailers your group brought. Sorry we didn't hit the 10/10 we strive for, but we just spent a mint to fix the flooring you pointed out, we needed additional support beneath the floor, it was a weeklong project, but perfection!

Love when we hear the word escape or haven. Peaceful too, adding that to our list of what we love to hear!

Happy the setting and experience booking was outstanding! We pride ourselves in being available and easy going hosts! Sorry we got dinged for the lakehouse not being up to your size standards. We don't feel any of the description or photos are misleading, but reviews like this help. We are not a large lakehouse by any means, but should accommodate a party size of six well enough for a weekend adventure!

Hey Carolyn, so happy you were able to take full advantage of the dock, the boat ramp and swimming and fishing in our cove! We know you all were a little crammed into the cabin and we are reducing the party size allowed at the cabin because of this. We noted your requests for updated pillows and cushions, just nothing we could accomplish during your stay time. We trust the location was a 10 out of 10, because that is what everyone says (in a cove, end of the road privacy, Camden side with the sunsets, access to a boat ramp, your own dock and water toys), sorry that the size just was not what you were expecting. So for anyone reading these reviews, which is most booking guests, this is definitely a smaller 3 bedroom without a 6-8 person dining room table, but still a 3 bedroom on Lake Wateree on a budget and with style, nonetheless!

it is important to note that the cleaner was finished before check-in time, just not fully finished for your early arrival, but she is always accommodating! We would suggest using the driveway next door to back in and out, that would be easier than turning around 180 in our yard :)

So happy to be your hosts for your first Wateree stay! Yes, for anyone reading, the bedroom is a twin with a trundle, I am happy you all made the best with it! Teens can be resilient :)

Love that you loved your time on Lake Wateree at our lakehouse! The Camden side is definitely where you go to see sunsets every night! Being in a cove keeps the lake noise at bay and the traffic down for sure (also having dead ends for the roads in help too!) - til next time!!!
