Hi Sherry, While I hate that you had a bad experience in our home, and you did not pay for your visit, I will address your concerns here for others. After you left, we found the smoke alarm taken down from the wall and sitting on the shelf beside the mount. I took a picture of that. In regards to dirty dishes and towels that smelled musty, our dishes sit on an open shelf island and really hate that our cleaner could miss something so obvious, and will be sure to address that with her if that is the case. And we do stock about 40 towels on the property (at a lake house we stock plenty!)1. So perhaps you had used one at the bottom of the stack or could have grabbed another one if that was not satisfactory. All in all, if you had said anything about what you were unhappy with during your visit, we absolutely would have remedied the situation. Since you neglected to tell us your concerns we did not have a chance to make things right for you. But since you did not pay for your reservation to begin with not submit pictures of any of your claims, I am glad we did not pay our cleaner to come out another time as she is a hard worker and we trust her!
