Welcome to Cherrybook Hideaway, one of the unique "deck houses" that were popularized in the Northeast during the mid-1900's for their warm wood, walls of glass, open floor plans, and cathedral ceilings. Our Hideaway is a mountainside retreat situated on 1.5 acres of private woods.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the wraparound deck, surrounded by trees and birds. Admire the sunset while enjoying a cocktail on the patio. Stargaze while in front of the firepit. With serene views from every window (and there are a ton of windows!), you’ll feel like you're living in the treetops.
This house comfortably sleeps 6. Enjoy a book in one of the many indoor and outdoor reading nooks, snuggle up on the sofa and play an LP from our collection (or bring along your favorites), enjoy stargazing at the fire pit, or cozy up in front of the flatscreen TV in the family room.
Although this house is secluded in a serene landscape, you’re only 6 minutes into Collinsville for antiquing, boutiques, LaSalle’s, and the rails-to-trails; 12 minutes to Ski Sundown; and 9 minutes to the convenient shopping. 33 minutes to Bradley International Airport; 2 hours to Boston and NYC.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We bought the cabin after the untimely passing of Jessica's brother as a place of retreat, natural beauty, and comfort. We love sharing this special place with others!
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
We sometimes call the cabin our treehouse! The cabin just rustic enough and just modern enough. It's both private and secluded but close to many conveniences.
