Beautifully Furnished 2201 sq. ft. cabin located in a gated community in Piney Creek, N.C! The cabin has 3 separate levels , Totally Furnished, main level has kitchen (fully Equipped) dining, and living room, With a stunning wood burning fireplace. Top floor is the master suite with breath taking views, King bed and Full Bath. Bottom floor has two private bedrooms with full Bath. Plus a ( Game Room,) fiber optic broadband Internet, TVs with Streaming services, air hockey, gaming console, and many more channels. Wrap around porches and private Balcony of the Master. The Cabin overlooks the New River. 25 minutes to downtown West Jefferson.. 55 minutes to Boone.. zip lines, snow tubing , skiing and much more! This home is at the top of a mountain on a well, Which means you must be conservative with water.

Beautiful Home in Gated Community

The home was very well maintained and in a beautiful location. The view from the decks on each floor was amazing. The kitchen was nicely stocked.

Great cabin for relaxation with family and friends not much to do in the area.

I love the cabin so beautiful and the host was nice. I like that she gave us places we could go to eat and a few things we could do in the area.

Very clean and beautiful sunrises!

We enjoyed our stay here. Both stairwells on the main floor and the kitchen have gates available which was a nice surprise for us! Everything was very clean and well kept. We were very happy with our stay here.

Amazing House with an amazing view.

We had such a great time. Very clean and a wonderful area for the kids to stay and entertain themselves. Beautiful master bedroom with an amazing view and comfortable bed.

Great house, amazing views

The house was beautiful and the views even better. Everything you could need for a weekend away – including a nice pile of firewood for the amazing fireplace. The gated community was a nice bonus too. So close to some great NC and VA State Parks for hiking and West Jefferson for shopping and restaurants. We will go back to see it in the different seasons and to take advantage of the river activities when it warms up.

Great Cabin

There were 8 adults that came up for the weekend of kayaking and we all had a great time at the cabin when we weren't on the river. The cabin was plenty spacious enough for all of us. It was super clean and well taken care of. The pictures don't do it justice. It is in a cabin "neighborhood" but there is plenty of trees to separate the cabins. We never once felt like there were cabins next to us. We've already started planning our next trip and can't wait to be back!

Mountain Top Tree House!

"Amazing" What a view during the night looking at the stars from the Master Suite and the seeing the sunrise! You feel like you are on top of the world in a true Open floor Log Cabin...Pictures do not do it justice! Clean, beautifully decorated, all the necessities you will need, Huge Air hockey game w/lights and games for kids! We loved it and Michelle is a wonderful host!....thank you so much for sharing your lovely place with us! We look forward to the return :)

Family Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle's mountain cabin! Everything was perfect. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked, the beds were super comfortable and the view was amazing. Waking up and getting to watch the sunrise from the bed was a highlight. The community that the cabin is in is safe and gorgeous. We brought our dog with us and he had a great time too. The river is just down the road and our kids loved skipping rocks and our dog loved getting in the water. We had a lot of fun playing air hockey and the atari in the rec room downstairs. I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I looked at many houses for rent. After choosing "River View(Mountain top), we spoke with the owner, she could not have been anymore accommodating. This house exceeded our expectations and truly offers everything one could want from a house in the mountains, such as modern amenities, abundant nature views from large windows on all 4 sides, a quiet retreat, privacy and plenty of wild life! If my family decides to go back to Piney Creek North Carolina, this is the house where we will stay. Thank you so much Michelle! Chris & Lynn

Wonderful mountain getaway

This is the second year we have stayed here and we love it. We drove into West Jefferson on Saturday. Nice cute village with great shops and restaurants. House is a quick hike down to the New River our dog loved it! Rest of the time we just played games, serious air hockey tournament and ate a lot.

Lovely Mountain Retreat

The house in Piney Creek is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated, open and spacious. It is well equipped and quite comfortable. The sunrises are exquisite from the upper main bedroom.

Mountain getaway

Very nice appointed home we used the top 2 floors. Thank you for giving us a place to stay that was clean, comfort and beautiful. The only slight negative is that there is really only 1 restaurant within 10 minutes which isn’t the owners fault. But the beautiful gated community was super comfortable.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This gorgeous log cabin is just what our family needed - peace and quiet. There is plenty to do inside and outside the cabin. Nice big comfy beds, fun airhockey table, smart TVs, good wifi - everyone was very happy. The kitchen has everything that most cooks would need. Love having a gas stove and gas grill!! We are looking forward to renting again next summer

35th Anniversary

Was as anticipated. Brought our two pups and they loved the flutter areas around the profor doing there business. Climate was perfect. House needs owners to come spend a week to fix some routine items, burnt out lightbulbs, master door handle set screw needs to be tighten, etc., minor things, but these are things that get out of whack quickly.
