This top floor condo is located in a historic building in the heart of downtown Cleveland. The unit features 15 ft ceilings, modern furnishings and Terminal Tower views. The Warehouse District offers easy walkability to restaurants and night life (but don't worry, it's nice and quiet on the top floor). From the airport, the RTA Rapid Transit red line/ Terminal Tower stop will get you within a 10 min walking distance of the building.
I left after one day. A VERY POOR VALUE for the money.
First off, the day before check-in, the host wrote to tell me that the front door had been damaged. I have photos. It looks like a derelict building. The entry is filthy and the carpets are thrown in a pile. The restaurant next door causes the hallways to reek. There were boxes all over the hallway. BUT the worst thing about the place is that the "bedroom" is just a raised area surrounded by a half-wall. I couldn't sleep for the noise of the mechanical systems and had to get up and unplug the refrigerator as it was against the half-wall and vibrating the wall and the bed and making a huge noise. The place is NOT a penthouse, but a small slice of a 6-story old building badly in need of a facelift. Parking is a nightmare, something also I was told ONE day before check-in. I had to pay an attendant in cash ot be able to leave my car overnight. Not a nice building, not a nice area, and definitely NOT a nice experience, despite being more expensive than a really nice hotel.
