Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Delightfull stay at Calypso 808w

Really enjoyed everything about this vacation. Condo was very nice, lots of room and great views of the beach and gulf. Of course the weather was great which helped. The only issue we had was leaving. We will do this again!

Enjoyed but didn’t like the fact you had to wait exactly 2:40 to pull into parking garage when arriving. We literally got to garage at 2:27 and had to wait three minutes before it would let us in.

Long Weekend with Friends

The unit itself was beautiful and clean…very spacious and had plenty of appliances/utensils/linen etc. The most disappointing aspect was that bedroom #2 & #3, and their shared bathroom were hot and unbearable to the point that two couples left early. We contacted maintenance about there not being air flow in the bedrooms or bathroom. The technician came and tried to tell us it was because “the air filter was dirty”. When one of the guest, who happened to work in maintenance, stated that wasn’t the case. The technician stated that “well I don’t work on “HVACs”. And that we would have to call the maintenance department again to attempt to get a higher level for another technician. Basically we had to keep doors open and the back section and master bedroom were freezing as all their vents had flow, in order to attempt to cool down the front section. We didn’t call again since we had places we wanted to go and no one wanted to wait around again for a technician. But again…not to be completely negative. Other than the poor air conditioning and flow, this was a lovely stay. It was just disappointing that after paying so many “fees” which up the nightly price, that the two couples chose to leave early.

Wonderful vacation

808W is a great place to stay for all ages! The unit was exactly as described and was perfect. The location on PCB is awesome. The staff at Panhandle Getaways were so helpful and kind. The beach staff were fabulous! They walked the area, asked if you needed anything, swept sand off your feet!!!! Our family always returns to Calypso and hopefully we can duplicate this same vacation next year to make more wonderful beach memories! Thank you Panhandle Getaways and owners of 808W.

Great condo

The unit was very roomy and the deco was up to date. The only slightly negative thing was the master shower, it was very narrow and you had to step all the way inside in order to turn the water on. Just a slight inconvenience, would still recommend this condo.
