Cut across the dining and living areas to the main level deck for grilled meal at the patio table or a dip in the hot tub, both with beautiful year-round mountain views! Out back, follow the pebbled path to the firepit and bottom deck area for a game on the ping-pong table another picnic table.

The cabin was perfect for our family and we really enjoyed our time. The only negative is the turn trying to get into the driveway. It was very difficult to make the turn until I practiced how to get in the safest way.
Cabin was nice and clean. Hot tub was a great even though it was summertime. Only thing my truck was so big. Trying get out of the driveway was almost impossible. But we enjoyed our stay
Wonderful place and the view was so pretty! Great location and would love to stay again. Only problem was the driveway. Itâs difficult trying to get into the driveway with the sharp turn that has to be made in order to get I to it but we went on up and turned around in the neighbors drive which solved the problem.
Everything was perfect. The only con would be the sharp turn to get into the driveway. It is very difficult with a large vehicle (we have a suburban) to get in and out of the driveway. They could also use may be a net in the lower deck if you are going to play ping pong otherwise you will be looking for balls down below or just be an amazing player. Otherwise it was beautiful and a cute quiet place with beautiful views.
The cabin itself was great. Loved the layout and had a fabulous view of the mountains from the top deck. The inside was clean and the bed was comfortable. The drive up to the cabin was a little bit stressful the first time, especially at night but also because it being mostly one lane and directions we received were not correct (we told to go right at a fork when should have gone left). The driveway was hard to get into because of the angle and being on the edge of hill. Most disappointing part was the hot tub not being clean or working when we finally went to use it our last night. Spent most of the time away from cabin exploring the area and really liked the towns we got to visit.
Just the right size for 4 people/two couplesâwe enjoyed our stay there. The double bunk bed is maybe not the best choice for adults, so that's something to be aware of for whomever takes that room (though it's good for kids, likely chosen for that reason); you'll also want to take your own pillows. Lots to see on TV if you're wanting to stream stuff, but the wifi signal is a bit weak and created interruptions while watching TV shows though streaming services (like Netflix) seemed to have no problem. We were missing a couple of items like a corkscrew for opening bottles, so we left one there for the next visitor. TP and paper towels are also a bit scarce with just one per room, so you'll want to bring some with you for when you run out. Overall the place was clean and tidy, though the floors were a little dirty. Great view out back and perfect place to eat meals if the weather is good.
We spent Fall Break here and generally enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nice and has everything you need to be comfortable. We were all a little sick (colds & stomach bug) so we missed some of the comforts of home, like our own bed & bedding, more than if we'd have been feeling well.
Pros:
Well decorated
Comfy couches
Nice View
Well appointed
Netflix/Prime/Apple TV access
Games & Toys
Bunkbed with extra trundle bed - comfy bottom bunk mattress (better than master)
Cons:
Uncomfortable, queen mattress in master
Thin comforters and bed pillows
Toilets clogged easily
No AT&T cell phone reception
Gravel roads in some sections (we discovered that taking the upper road made getting in an out of the neighborhood easier and faster)
Clocks, while cute, make it hard to sleep or nap on the couch
Very little natural gas in the tanks - ran out while we were there
Deck furniture is not very comfortable or sturdy
It would be helpful if the management agency sent directions from the nearby Pink Pig BBQ restaurant rather than downtown Blue Ridge and if we had been given the correct door code to check in with. Having no cell phone reception made it difficult to call to get a new door code when the one sent in the welcome email didn't work. We luckily were able to access the Wi-Fi and make a Wi-Fi call to get a new code. However, we didn't start our stay off on the right foot and it was a bit unpleasant considering it was getting dark and the roads are bit tricky.
Loved our stay here. The cabin was clean, well decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The view from the deck was beautiful with comfortable deck furniture for lounging, a table and benches for dining and a nice sized hot tub.
The cabin was exactly what I needed. After reviewing 30 something cabins. I chose this one based on views, hot tub, and fire pit. I drive a jeep so thereâs no issue with the road or the driveway get into the unit as others have described. Itâs great I love to go back. perfect layout everything I needed.
Birthday weekend for my daughter with two of her childhood best friends. We visited Ott Winery listened to some great music and hit a local antique shop. Lots of laughs and memories made.
Exactly what we were looking for! Super cozy and relaxing. Felt very secluded yet only a 15 min drive to Elijay and Blue Ridge. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness for children. The house had childrenâs toys, small utensils and small chairs by the fire! You will not be disappointed with this cabin!
Alright, in the description of this property It does inform you that the road leading to your cabin does not have lights and states to be mindful of driving at night. In my opinion as a young adult with three kids, I would change that to "do not ever get there after dark and expect to make it to your cabin without being deathly scared for you and your families life". My oldest son who is eight, after sweet neighbors found us on the side of the road and helped us finish the trek to the cabin, went in to the bathroom and threw because he was so scared. This road that leads up to this gorgeous cabin, and it is gorgeous with a beautiful view, was so windy and so steep and fits only one car at a time, with sharp turns where if you misjudge your angle it is an extreme decline down the side of the mountain- your vehicle would just roll. Yes We of course expected some incline, we did not expect this road if you had to rate it from beginner to expert in driving in the mountains it should definitely say this is an- expert like mountain road- this is not your normal gravel road to a cabin. So yes there are no lights and we did know that from the listing, however nowhere did it mention the steep inclines and declines and the fact that with the sharp right angle turns sometimes my SUV tires just spun and we didn't know if we were going to slide backwards right off the side of the mountain or not. I hate to focus on this one point, but it was our first impression and this limited our vacation. We could not go out the last day because it was raining too hard and we were too scared to go down on those roads or that our tires would slip even further, and we also had to make sure we were back up the mountain and to the cabin way before dark hit, meaning no family dinners in Cherry Log or Blue Ridge which should be enjoyable on vacation. Once we got to the cabin and calmed our nerves we enjoyed our stay, there are cute games you can play at the cabin a gorgeous view of the mountain, hot tub to enjoy. The place could have been a little bit cleaner(found clumps of black hair/dirt where we were placing our two year old on a trundle bed) but nothing we couldn't fix with some laundry our second day there, and that isn't the owner's fault, they hire a cleaning company. Cute guest book to fill out, many who mentioned the treacherous road getting there. For our first experience to Blue Ridge/Cherry Log our highlights were the view of the cabin, BRSR train, Mercier Orchard
