** The Pelican Watch building is undergoing a building-wide construction project that will likely last throughout the summer of 2026. The HOA has given the following statement, but please contact our office with questions.

"Pelican Watch is undergoing extensive renovation this year, and construction crews are on site Mon-Fri, 7:30AM-5PM. During these times, noise, debris, dirt, and dust will likely be experienced. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool will be closed due to safety concerns, and direct access to the beach may be limited at times. The indoor pool will remain open, and the beach can still be accessed via the town parking lot next to the building." **

Welcome to your family's next vacation spot! This welcoming 3 bedroom condo on the 1st floor, with laminate flooring, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and plenty of room for intimate family getaways. The rental is conveniently located to entry to indoor pool and lobby area. The kitchen has been remodeled with ceramic tile, granite and stainless appliances. Enjoy the tile work in the recently redone master bathroom shower, as well as a walk-in shower located in the master bathroom. The rental is also overlooking the outdoor pool, perfect for families that want to let their children have fun with supervision but want relaxing time on the patio. The condo has the following bedding and TV information: One (1) King in Master with 27" TV, one (1) Queen in 2nd bedroom with 37" TV, two (2) Twins in 3rd bedroom with 27" TV and one (1) sofa Queen in living area with 37" TV.

Pelican Watch offers guests an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sun deck, private beach access, and an area to grill and picnic. This is a wonderful location near shops, restaurants, the Carolina Beach Board Walk, and the Lake. It is a place the entire family will enjoy and want to visit year after year.

Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is older and in need of an update in some areas. It was very clean. we were surprised to have our linens packaged and ready for us to use versus being set up in the unit but with Covid we understood. The scatter rugs were set aside as they were in need of cleaning or replaced with a tacky back but with the slick floors we did not want to risk a fall. The view was very nice. Most of the kitchen items were in good shape but the cooking pans are quite old so we lined them with foil before using. The swimming pool was awesome. Very clean, and kept up nicely. Access to the beach was very easy. We were only given one keycard to access the pool and beach. There should be at least two cards in the packet so families can separate if wanted. We had a stopped up toilet on arrival which took two days to get fixed but the office was trying to get someone there. Having stayed in many VRBO condo's around the country, I would still recommend this condo just don't want anyone to be surprised that it does need updating. The location is fantastic as it is near to the Boardwalk, many restaurants and beach access is great.

Perfect condo with great views!

We had a great week at Pelican Watch! The only semi bad thing I can say is we were only allowed one key card, which allows you access to the building and the pool. The key card doesn't work after 10pm. But we were right next to the beach access & on the 1st floor so we could use the stairs. We made it work. Other than that it was great.

Extremely Disappointing

Our experience was extremely disappointing for a number of different reasons: 1) The keycards were not working so access to the building was impossible. 2) The management company apparently does not return calls while on a holiday weekend. Of course that makes sense because it’s not like there’s many people traveling on a holiday weekend and that they may have need for help at times. 3) An entire bag of dirty linens was left in the unit and it took 2 days to get a response from the Mgmt company to address this. 4) Several of the utensils in the kitchen were dirty and rusty. 5) The pictures didn’t reflect the lower quality of the actual unit upon arrival. It’s not a pleasant experience to open the door and walk in and immediately feel disappointed.
