Admiral's Retreat is perfect!

As a Maryland Delegate, during the 3 months of legislative session I temporarily stay in Annapolis. I have made Admiral's Retreat my home away from home for over the past 3 years. It is a rancher home and has everything to meet our needs. There are 4 bedrooms, so I've brought our dog and adult children sometimes. It's in a quiet community, has more than ample space, and amenities. It's always clean and maintenance is always quick to come if we need anything. We are there during the winter months, so having maintenance handling the shoveling of snow is wonderful.

Enjoyable property

We were visiting family and did not spend much time in the house other than to sleep, but it was a nice alternative to a hotel room.

The Admiral’s Retreat was clean, comfortable, and roomy for hanging out. The decor was modern and felt homey. It met all our expectations.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect for access to USNA. It is too far to walk for most, but a quick and pretty direct drive. This house was clean, spacious and comfortable. 4 bedrooms - each with a king size bed! We would definitely stay here again!!

First Family trip to Annapolis!

Our stay was very enjoyable- plenty of room for my husband and I as well as 3 of our teenage/adult children and 3 grandparents. Sean and Jen were quick to respond to some minor concerns when we first checked in. We would definitely recommend this property to other visitors to the area!

This was a wonderful house and a great location. We were able to Uber/Lyft quickly to our destinations. My husband and I enjoyed running around the neighborhoods and walking for coffee.

Weekend in Annapolis

This house was a perfect place for our family to assemble to attend a family event. We were very comfortable, the kitchen, living room, and backyard gathering place were comfortable and functional. Lots of plates and silverware made family meals a breeze. The neighborhood is peaceful and attractive.

Rented for family for Commissioning Week. House is close to everything - Academy, Downtown Annapolis and the stadium. House was immaculate. Highly recommend.

Cute place!

Our group had a great time here. There were plenty of bedrooms with king sized beds and a nice sized backyard to enjoy. There was a slight hiccup upon arrival as the place was not cleaned between guests, but when I reached out to the property manager they sent someone right away to clean up. Once cleaned, it was a great experience in the house.

Beautiful remodel in great location

This home is beautifully remodeled, very comfortable and in a great location. It is away from the congestion of downtown, yet so close to drive downtown and to the Yard. Communication was great, and the house was just as it is pictured. We absolutely loved that all bedrooms had King-sized beds. We were greeted upon arrival with a nice bottle of wine and welcome note.

Great experience...

We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. We were attending a wedding the the Naval Academy Chapel with the reception at Akenson Tower at the stadium. It was VERY conveniet. I'm sorry we didn't have time to use the fire pit!

Admiral retreat

Beautiful property as described in listing. Just a few comments. Beds were amazing, showers and bathrooms were modern and clean, living TV was hooked up for TV AND we were able to listen and watch all or most show and news! My father in law used a walker and was easily able to move throughly to bathroom and bedroom. Enter and exit the home had just 1 step. Loved the room darkening shades in the rooms. Loved the nearby area and shopping. Loved the fan above the 4th bedroom where we slept. Furnishings were comf and attractive!! A couple of improvements needed. We had little ants everywhere in living room. Very small and on couch and in kitchen. We had no outdoor lighting when we pulled up at 10 PM. Very difficult to see front door or walkway at night. Couldn't figure out how to lower the AC below 76. We probably should have called about the AC but house was pretty cool. Overall we were there only at night and early AM.

Perfect In Everyway!

First, a very special thank you to Sean and Marsha the property managers! Our family appreciated the special accommodation you provided! The location can’t be beat especially for Midshipmen! It’s close to everything yet removed enough from DTA to relax and avoid crowds and traffic. The home is very clean, beautiful and comfortable! The beds are large and comfortable and linens are very nice! We loved the oversized bath towels! They provide extra touches such as starter staples, a welcome note with wine, snacks and coffee! The yard is perfect and the fire pit added an extra area to relax and spend family time together. I enjoyed my morning coffee there. If you run or walk outdoors there’s a sidewalk along the main road and safe neighborhoods to run through so getting in 5-7 miles was easy! The neighborhood is small, quite and the people were friendly. The service is 5 Star! You won’t find a better management team!! Thank you again for making our time with our Mid everything we had hoped for! With much gratitude, Lisa

Comfortable and convenient, but some misses…

This house was a comfortable, clean rental with decent space, and very convenient to Naval Academy and malls/shopping. Originally when we were searching for a rental, we were thrilled when we found this VRBO as it seemed to meet our needs and especially with it being dog friendly too. In the ad it stated that the backyard was “fenced in” which we were specifically looking for as we wanted to be able to let our dogs out run around in a safe/fenced environment instead of having to leash them up every time they wanted to go out. Well image our surprise when we drove up to see technically a “fenced back yard”, but NOT “fenced in” as the ad stated- both sides of the house are wide open and there is no way to close them up. May be we should have asked more questions before renting but if we had known that the yard was NOT secured or the ad had been clearer about that, we probably wouldnt have considered this property. Additionally, we also couldn’t really enjoy the backyard as we had hoped due to the massive amount of leaves all over- it was clear the yard had not been raked or leaves taken up for weeks. We have lived on the East Coast and know when you have big trees on a property, how the leaves will cover everything in multiple layers unless you stay on top of it so that was a surprise to have to deal with leaves everything and getting tracked in house due to the pile ups all over. So despite how pleasant the house was, that put a damper on our experience.

Great Accommodations

Our family stayed here during 2/C parents weekend. It was a great home, clean and about 10 minutes from the yard! Beds were super comfortable!! Thank you Cathy for being a wonderful host!
