Hi, I’m Erin. I’m a New Orleans native who believes life is best lived near good food, great music, and the water.

My husband Steve and I fell in love with the Carolina Beach and Kure Beach area years ago and slowly began building our little dream on the island. What started as a single cottage project turned into a passion for restoring and caring for these charming beach homes so guests could experience the same relaxed coastal lifestyle that made us fall in love with the area.

Steve is the practical one who keeps everything running smoothly, while I focus on the design and the small details that make each cottage feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming rather than like a typical rental.

We take a lot of pride in our homes and truly enjoy hosting. Our goal is always to create a place where guests can slow down, relax, and enjoy time together — whether that means morning coffee on the porch, long beach walks, evenings around the fire pit, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze.

We try to make sure everything you need for a great beach stay is ready when you arrive, and we’re always happy to help with local recommendations or anything else that makes your trip more enjoyable.

The proximity to the beach and downtown Kure Beach is truly spectacular. This cottage sits in what many consider the heart of downtown Kure Beach, just five short blocks from the pier. You can easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and local spots, yet it still feels peaceful and relaxed.

We love this location because it’s close enough to enjoy all the activity of the island, but just far enough away from the chaos that you can truly unwind and slow down.

Another thing we love about this cottage is that it’s ground level. Most homes in the area are tall, vertical beach houses, but this one feels like a classic beach cottage where you can simply step outside and be part of the island.

Walk out onto the porch, put your feet in the grass, and take in the salty air. You can hear the waves, smell the ocean breeze, and even catch glimpses of the water. It feels like the ocean is gently calling you to come down and play in the sand.
