Profitez de la paix et de la tranquillité de cette propriété privée de 8,5 acres située à moins de trois kilomÚtres du centre-ville de Sisters. Notre maison de 4 chambres 3. 5 salles de bain 3200 pieds carrés peut accueillir jusqu'à 2 familles trÚs confortablement.

SituĂ© sur Whychus Creek, vous pouvez sortir du pont arriĂšre et descendre le sentier sinueux pour profiter de 1500 pieds de façade de ruisseau privĂ© avec des tables de pique-nique et des balançoires. Si vous aimez pĂȘcher, apportez votre canne de 3 watts car la pĂȘche peut ĂȘtre exceptionnelle pendant les mois d'Ă©tĂ©.

Il y a 3 chambres à l'étage principal: 2 des chambres ont des lits queen et une salle de bain complÚte partagée. La chambre principale a un lit king, une salle de bain privée complÚte avec deux lavabos et un accÚs extérieur direct au bain à remous pour 4 personnes. La 4e chambre est au niveau inférieur, adjacente à la salle familiale. Il a également un lit queen avec une salle de bain privée complÚte et un accÚs extérieur direct.

La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner tous vos repas et un lave-vaisselle pour faciliter le nettoyage. La salle à manger peut accueillir 8 personnes confortablement mais s'agrandit avec une feuille supplémentaire dans le placard d'entrée pour les convives supplémentaires.

Le grand pont arriÚre est parfait pour divertir la compagnie, regarder les cerfs errer dans la cour ou profiter de la vue sur la montagne. Sur le pont principal, il y a de l'extérieur pour 8 personnes et sur le patio inférieur, il y a des siÚges pour 4 personnes supplémentaires.

Il y a un grand gril Ă  gaz qui est assez grand pour faire griller 2 grands racks de cĂŽtes levĂ©es, 6 burgers et 8 bratwurst Ă  la fois (croyez-nous, nous l'avons fait!) Du propane de rechange se trouve dans le garage dans le cas peu probable oĂč vous manqueriez de gaz.

Cette destination toute l'annĂ©e offre une proximitĂ© immĂ©diate de la pĂȘche de classe mondiale sur les riviĂšres Deschutes et Metolius, du ski dans le domaine skiable de Hoodoo Ă  proximitĂ© (25 minutes) et du mont. BaccalaurĂ©at (50 minutes), golf sur les terrains de golf Aspen Lakes et Black Butte et un vaste rĂ©seau de sentiers de randonnĂ©e et de vĂ©lo sur Peterson Ridge. Conduisez jusqu'au lac Three Creeks (25 minutes en voiture) pour une excursion d'une journĂ©e spectaculaire et montez jusqu'Ă  Tam McArthur Rim pour une vue Ă  couper le souffle!

Amazing property in a great location

This is one of my favorite vacation rentals. It has it all, beautiful house, fire pit, river and pickleball court. It’s in a great location only minutes from Sister’s. Would highly recommend this house!! Host was super friendly, responsive and helpful.

Perfect family getaway property

This home is beautiful and clean with everything you need. Towels, sheets, cook wear , etc. all high quality. The layout of the home was ideal for our large multi- family vacations. The grounds have so much to offer as well with the pickle ball court, large grass area, hammocks, and the beautiful River.

Another awesome stay at Aspen Meadows

Our mountain biking group just wrapped our 4th annual trip to Aspen Meadows - every year there are terrific additions to the house/property which makes our stay even better. Chris is absolutely meticulous, and it shows in every detail. Looking forward to our 5th year rendezvous in 2024!

A wonderful retreat

My family loved our stay here. We had a wonderful time swimming in the creek, playing volleyball on the huge back lawn and sharing stories around the fire pit at night. We really liked having the two levels with kids downstairs with their own TV. Everything was very clean and new. It feels secluded but the town is just minutes away. We will definately be coming back here again.

Nice house, location is okay but does have close neighbors. I’ve never rented a place that charged a cleaning fee and then asked you to do a bunch of laundry and chores before you left which made it not possible to relax the morning of check-out.

Very nice property. Large enough for 8 very comfortably. Great pickle ball court, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Hot tub was ver nice, but a little small. Three at most at any one time. We would rent it again.

Spacious creekside gem!

Beautiful home on gorgeous grounds just outside of town. There was plenty of space for everyone in our group of 8. Between the private pickleball court, ping pong table, cornhole, bocce and croquet, we were never bored
 and we whiled away many an hour in the chairs by the creek and swinging in the hammock! The home was well- stocked, spotlessly clean and in great condition. The owners were quick to respond and friendly when we had a question. We will definitely be back!!

Very nice house close to hiking areas. Enjoyed the hot tub. Our only problem was with a water leak alarm that kept going off on us. Finally discovered one of the toilets wasn't shutting off properly. Once we turned off the valve completely, this got better. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking which we like to do on our vacations. Very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful house, convenient location

This is a beautiful house with high quality finishes. The location is close to Sisters, but close to a major road with a bit of noise. The river is a short walk on the beautiful property, but would have loved more creek noise than road noise. A very special place for families (friends) to gather. Can imagine it is great in the summer when it's warm and days are long. Very clean and well stocked overall. Fireplace is a must and is great in cold weather. Sincerely appreciate the great stock of wood for the fires.

Magical long weekend

Beautiful house on magical land.. we saw an abundance of wildlife in the backyard and along the creek. Nice spot to cool your feet off. We ended up putting our pop up tent over the picnic table because it was hot. We couldn't eat breakfast in the kitchen because there were (no exaggeration) nearly 30 flies on the window over the corner dining area our first morning but we did spend some time opening the screens to get most of them out.

Amazing Family Getaway

This home has so many things that make it a great place for a family vacation ... just 5 minutes from town of Sisters, but a large quiet private property with grass, meadows, trees, a small river, a variety of lovely outdoor seating spots, a beautiful lighted pickleball court (we played morning and night). Deer wander by (and an occasional peacock!), eagles & hawks fly overhead. House also has table tennis, fussball, bocce ball, croquet, lots of board and card games, great hanging out spaces indoors, large well stocked kitchen. We were very impressed and will come again! AC works great but it's a bit too cold downstairs ... ample blankets are provided.

Something for everyone...

The check-in was seamless and everything was ready for us upon arrival. The set up of the house is great for a family who have different sleep schedules or interests. Not only was it so close to the creek, but there is a lovely (and lighted path) that loops down to the creek and back. We had lots of fun playing pickle ball, horseshoes and games (of which there are many in/with the house). Of all the places we have rented before, this property had the best beds!! We slept great here. All around, cooking, hanging out, playing games, watching movies, was so comfortable and relaxing. The proximity to the downtown Sisters thoroughfare was wonderful - shopping, dining, hiking and more. We will be staying her again, no doubt. Love love loved it. Thank you.

Great stay, great location.

We had a GREAT stay at this property. We ate dinner on the deck every night. There's a nice large back yard with green grass, which attracted deer every night we were there. We all enjoyed watching the deer mamas and babies. We used the lawn for lawn sports, which was really fun. We went shopping in Sisters, got pastries from the Sisters Bakery (which was amazing and highly recommended), went tubing down the Deschutes in Bend (so.much.fun!), visited Scout Lake (great for kids) and went on a hike to the Blue Hole (a beautiful hike). We did spend some time at the creek; although, not as much as we thought we would because there were so many other things to do. We had a few small issues come up during our stay and Chris was super responsive. We appreciated how quickly he got back to us. I highly recommend this for a getaway.

Overall a good stay with few issues

Lovely property & house in beautiful area. Great split-level living spaces with spacious kitchen for our 2 families with kids to enjoy. Only issues were dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival, along with unknown sticky spots on floor we had to clean up. Blackened pancakes were also left in the oven (turned off) which gave an unexpected odor to our arrival. Once there we found the hot tub had a green tint but couldn't locate any chemicals to treat. Messaged with host, who responded quickly that a hot tub specialist would come check it out but didn't hear anything after that so we ended up not using the hot tub at all. Overall minor setbacks to a fun family weekend.

My wife and I live in Portland, OR and are avid outdoor enthusiasts. We have 2 boys who are now in their mid 20's and our 13 year old English Lab that round out our family. We try and spend our free time down in Sisters when time permits and welcome the opportunity to share Aspen Meadow Lodge with new and returning guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

In the mid-1970s, a group of 10 families purchased approximately 25 acres about two miles outside downtown Sisters, with the vision of creating a truly special environment. Lot sizes ranged from 2 to 10 acres, nestled in and around Squaw Creek—now known as Whychus Creek.

Originally built as a single-family residence on 8.5 acres, surrounded by towering ponderosa pines and aspen trees, the home served as a primary residence. By the late 1980s and early 1990s, it was sold to an Australian entrepreneur who fell in love with the region. Seeing the property’s potential as a bed-and-breakfast, he converted it into an 8-bedroom, 6-bath B&B and named it the Australian Outback.

The venture was short-lived, lasting less than five years, before the proprietor returned to Australia. In 1996, a couple from Bend purchased the property, continuing its life as a B&B and renaming it Aspen Meadow Lodge. For the next decade, it served loyal and consistent clientele who appreciated its charm and tranquility.

By 2005, after one of the owners passed away, the surviving spouse found the operation too much to manage alone and decided to sell. We purchased the property in January 2006, returning it to a single-family home and, eventually, a vacation rental for new and returning guests to enjoy.

Past stories and memories live on, captured in the two signs that remain with the property today—a small but meaningful reminder of its rich history.

In the fall, winter, and early spring, gather around the outdoor firepit to cozy up under the stars. In the summer, unwind in the backyard hammocks or down by Whychus Creek. With advance notice in July and August, we can provide specially designed in-creek seating for the ultimate “Happy Hour” experience — dip your feet in the cool water while enjoying the scenery.

Take advantage of private access to Whychus Creek, challenge friends or family on the Pickleball court installed in 2022, or relax in the new six-person hot tub added in fall 2025. For a uniquely Oregon touch, the seasonal outdoor shower wraps around one of the majestic ponderosas on the back deck.

Aspen Meadow Lodge comfortably hosts up to two families or four couples, offering spaces to relax, play, and connect.
