This was our 6th stay at The Cottage By The Sea and we are already planning our next visit. I can’t say enough good things about this property. Each time we stay there we are reminded how special it is to be in such close proximity to the dunes and the ocean with such comfortable surroundings. Amy, the owner is the perfect host and has created an unbeatable beach experience for her guests. The Cottage By The Sea is our number one choice when visiting Fernandina.

What a beautiful cozy cottage by the sea. It lives up to its name The deck overlooking the dunes and beach are the selling point of this property! I have grown up on this beach and so glad this is a choice other than a condo or hotel!

This was my family’s favorite beach house on Amelia Island, and we have stayed in many! It was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family of 4. We hope to be back soon!

We just returned from our second stay at The Cottage by the Sea and we loved it just as much as the first time! Except this time the house is more updated and an additional bathroom. They did a great job with the renovation! The proximity to the beach is perfect for our family of 4, and being able to walk to the little surf shop and restaurants made things so convenient. The house is well stocked with beach chairs, towels, and games, which kept us entertained. We had a fantastic time, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for families!

What a gem of a place! I always worry whether I've chosen the right vacation rental, but this home exceeded every expectation. The location was perfect, and it provided the backdrop for such a memorable trip with my family. The house was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive, proactive with communication, and quick to help with anything we needed to make our stay even more enjoyable. If you're considering booking, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely stay here again. We can't wait to return!

Another Great Stay

We had an another great week at the cottage.We have visited several times and will certainly be returning. The view can’t be beat and you hit the sand right off the deck! The host always has the house well stocked with all that you need which helps cut down on packing those odds and ends. The cottage has been spotless every time we visit. Highly recommend.

We had a perfect stay at this well decorated, clean, comfortable cottage located directly on the beach. The host was incredibly attentive and helpful and we could not have asked for a better place for my husband and me to enjoy a long weekend away.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house was beautiful exactly like in the pictures or I should say better. Location was excellent. The beach access was wonderful. The back porch was an extra bonus! I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and Relaxing Experience

Our 5th stay at Amy’s Cottage by the Sea. The view of the ocean and dunes is awesome, even on the rare rainy day. The Cottage is clean and cozy and the location is unbeatable. With easy access to restaurants , the greenway and downtown shops. Our absolute favorite place to stay in Fernandina.

Views of the ocean are beautiful. You are right on the beach. The cottage had everything we needed. Amy checked on us throughout the stay and promptly dealt with whatever issues arose. The cottage was perfect for us. This was our third time staying here, and each stay has been delightful.

A quick stay during The Amelia Car Weekend with my family, and couldn't be happier with this little gem. Amy was super helpful and it is in the most prime area you could be!

Perfect beach getaway

Perfect place for a small families beach vacation 3rd year staying here home is always clean and owner includes all of the conveniences of home.Home is right on the beach and its in a beautiful family friendly area. We have never had one single problem or complant. Highly recommend!

Great place for our family of 4!

This was the perfect house for our family. It was situated right on the beach with a big deck to look at the beautiful ocean! We could walk to a few restaurants and it’s a quick drive to the downtown area. We loved it here!

Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful two weeks at Amy’s property. We loved being right on the beach and seeing the sunrises every morning. The house is very well equipped, and Amy was very responsive. This is our new favorite rental on Amelia Island!

You can't beat Amy's place in terms of being located right on a beautiful beach, convenient to town and restaurants, clean, well-equipped, and very well-managed. This is definitely our favorite place, and we have traveled the world over.

House was super clean and had great beach amenities! Host was wonderful- very responsive and even checked in on us to make sure everything was ok halfway through our visit.
