167 feet from Boardwalk and Beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. Luxury just fully remodeled 1 bedroom. Second floor. Includes high speed Wifi and streaming cable. Property includes 1 queen bed and 1 queen air mattress.

This is luxury second floor luxury 1 bedroom apartment just 167 feet from the boardwalk and the beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. The apartment is on the ground floor of a three story building. The floors are hardwood. The appliances, furniture, electronics, linens and artwork are all brand new.
This is a 14 unit, three story apartment building. It features a gated yard for relaxation and sitting in the sun complete with a shared BBQ.
Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf.
We are 167 Feet from San Diego's most iconic beach. Have a hamburger or get a scoop of ice cream. Talk a walk or learn to surf, maybe rent a bike. It’s all right there at your doorstep. Groceries, Restaurants and Microbreweries are all around. Of course, you will have access to our communal BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out.
After lunch, head back home and take a nap on a cozy couch or one of the high end beds.
If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away.
For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look west. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive.

Perfect beach condo

My daughter and I loved staying at this beach condo! The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach, great restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was also a short drive to all of the places we wanted to go—the Zoo, UC San Diego and Scripps aquarium. The condo is clean and updated, the owner gave detailed instructions and recommendations, and was responsive and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great stay!

This property was VERY clean and looked exactly like the listing. It was a short walk to the beach and the chairs and cooler available worked well for us. Kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies and there were toiletries available in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Doug communicated by email regularly before and during our stay. We would stay there again.

It was our first Vrbo experience and it did not disappoint. The apartment was immaculate and very well appointed. Having the washer & dryer in the unit was a huge bonus. We were especially appreciative of the opportunity to extend our stay for one more night at the last minute. The proximity to the ocean was grand. Cute apartment

Cute small clean apartment with everything in it. This place has a big fridge, dishwasher, and washer and dryer, which helped us do laundry before we left back home. Very close to the beach and small stores around. It was perfect for my husband and i. The only issue was the parking, due to everyone wanting to park around the area since the beach is close by. But overall it was a great stay.

GREAT LITTLE PLACE!

The listing was right on! Great open floor plan, and the walk to the beach was short and sweet. Bedroom was nice sized and I loved the air mattress. Everything was within walking distance, didn’t have to move the car once. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

We'd stay here again!

Space was lovely, well supplied, and clean. Washer and dryer were a plus! Location to beach was very close. A people and surf watching paradise! Lots to do relatively nearby too. Communication with owner was perfectly adequate and typically prompt. Communication felt primarily "scripted", so a little shy on the "personal touch" side, but it was clear and accurate. Only hesitations about this rental/location: 1.) Wind at beach is so strong after 9:00 a.m. that it's hard to just sit and enjoy the beach. 2.) Night vibe at beach is not for everyone. Think more spring break like for young adults. We enjoyed seeing the fun and the apartment was plenty quiet at night. 3.) Could be wrong, but seemed like I needed to initiate the reminder for my safety deposit to be refunded.

Just OK for us

Clean & recently renovated, close to the beach. However for us (70yo) did not care for this portion of the beach_crowded with many bicycles, skate boards, loud people. Did not feel safe walking here at night. Rec: add pot holders, cookie sheet, muffin tin, hangers (there were 6 reg & 7 child size). The lock on the front window was broken. When sitting on the couch our knees were higher then our hips required sitting on pillows so we could get off the couch. Consider adding over the door hooks (both sides) so there is a place for wet towels & clothing. Add over the cabinet door shelves for the bathroom where one could place cosmetics, hair care items etc. The towel at the bath sink hangs on the counter. The shower curtain is too short. Consider purchasing better quality items at Home Goods etc...many kitchen items & hangers look as though they were purchased at Dollar Store-very chintzy.

Outstanding Apartment

We highly recommend this apartment! We loved how everything felt new and super clean. Having a separate bedroom instead of studio was a perk with tasteful barn door. Enjoyed having a bathtub and shower combination with strong water pressure and extra hot water for tub soak. Shampoo and soap provided. Kitchen was stocked with new dishes, coffee marker and coffee/cream. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella provided in closet. Air conditioner and ceiling fan in bedroom with a good firm mattress made for good night rest. We stayed 6 days. New washer/dryer came in handy. Best feature was location steps from both ocean side and Bay side. Loved it!
