167 feet from Boardwalk and Beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. Includes high speed Wifi and streaming cable. Property includes 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, 1 queen deluxe air mattress and a comfortable couch.

This is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment just 167 feet from the boardwalk and the beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. The apartment is on the second floor of a three story building. The floors are carpet. The appliances, furniture, electronics, linens and artwork are all brand new.
This is a 14 unit, three story apartment building with a shared gated yard for relaxation, sitting in the sun or a bbq.
Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf.
We are 167 Feet from San Diego's most iconic beach. Have a hamburger or get a scoop of ice cream. Talk a walk or learn to surf, maybe rent a bike. It’s all right there at your doorstep. Groceries, Restaurants and Microbreweries are all around. Of course, you will have access to our communal BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out.
After lunch, head back home and take a nap on a cozy couch or one of the high end beds.
If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away.
For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look west. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive.

Great location

We had a short weekend trip and it was helpful that the location was near the beach and quite of few eating / drinking spots. We enjoyed our trip and will be looking at booking this location in a heartbeat.

Great space! Perfect for a family of 4!

The kids loved having their own space and so did the parents. It was perfect for just walking down to the beach and the parking spot was always available for us. It made navigating Mission/Pacific Beach super easy. Doug was great to work with and super communicative. It was clean and looked great. Perfect for us and core memories were made thanks to this stay :)

Short Stay at the Beach

Perfect location for a quick trip to the beach. Short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and coffee shops. Very clean and nice! We had a great time.

Mission beach

All was good. Initially had a hard time navigating the small street/sidewalks and all the one ways but got easier. There is a lot of traffic. Walkable to the Belmont park area and quick access to water and beach. We had a great stay

Best Location

The apartment is just what it looked like on line. We used the kitchen every night, my daughter wanted home cooked meals. Needs Air conditioning thank God for the fans they provided. excellent location, felt like home. I will definitely stay again.

Short last minute trip

My family and I had a good stay at this property! There are a few things I could use an update or a thorough cleaning at the site. The lock on the front window does not exist, so we just wedged a stick we had with us in there overnight for some peace of mind. The beds and rooms are clean, but the covers on the couches could use a wash. Overall we had a great stay, that location was fantastic – a very short walk to the beach! Doug was very responsive and helpful with the check in process.

Extremely Satisfied!

I didn’t think the process would be as easy as it was to book and check in. Doug was in communication the whole time and it made the stay extremely easy. The pictures are spot on and the walk to the beach was even closer than I expected. We had a great trip and are thankful we found this!

Good location, could use some attention to detail

Pros - walking distance to the beach, comfortable beds and pillows, easy keyless access Cons - all beds against the wall makes it awkward for more than 1 person per bed, blinds in every room are broken so serious lack of privacy and darkness, easy little things not taken care of such as worn out toilet seat, ripped shower curtain etc. Parking would be a pro and a con - There is parking which is nice in this crowded area but it is very tight and hard to get in to the parking. Also the host basically says if someone parks illegally in our parking you are out of luck.

Great property management

Our 3 person family stayed at Doug’s place over the 4th of July weekend. We expected some noise from neighbors, but our first night there came with a loud group who was fighting, using profanity, throwing things, and being altogether frustrating. Doug immediately responded and had the group removed from their unit which was above ours. Doug also communicated throughout our stay which made the rental process so easy. Sometimes the property manager is what makes all the difference, and in this case, Doug made our stay great!

Great location

Nice space perfect for our needs. A few minor issues (tub not draining and front window latch broken) but all together a great place and I would stay there again. Expect to be woken up early to regular neighborhood noises. With no a/c it’s a must to keep the windows open and in such a tight space it’s easy to hear everything going on in the neighborhood.

I could go on and on about the location, but the bottom line is that, if you want the quintessential San Diego Beach experience, nothing beats Mission Beach. We have been the center of San Diego's beach tourism since the early 1900s. We feature San Diego's longest and widest beach with a boardwalk that runs for miles with a roller coaster at one end and restaurants and shopping at the other. This rental is only 167 steps to the boardwalk and beach.
