Property was very clean and had every amenity we could need. Location was great and Pamela was very helpful and responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Pamela is a great host! Super communicative and helpful âproactive with culinary recs and extremely responsive. We had a long stay for a surgical procedure and felt very at home in her peaceful space.
We had a very nice stay. The house was comfortable for our family of five, and was a great base for exploring New Orleans. The neighborhood is fine, and we mainly used the nearby St. Charles streetcar line to reach different parts of town. We would definitely stay here again.
Our house went above and beyond to communicate to make sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean, incredibly well stocked with everything you could need. The little extras were such a nice bonus such as toothbrush, shaving kits things you might forget we will definitely stay here again Location was perfect for zipping around The city
The house was perfect for our needs. It is just a short walk from St Charles street. The neighborhood is up and coming. We would stay again at this VRBO.
The property was super clean and very nicely updated!!! With complementary toiletries that can always come in handy. The blast was super responsive and great! Will definitely come back!
My wife rides in Cleopatra every year so we have family come down for the weekend. This place was exactly as listed, clean and updated with a short walk to St. Charles street. Everything was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Would book again and Pamela was great to work with.
This property was exactly like it was advertised. We had plenty of room, comfortable beds, and close to everything. I was a little concerned about parking on the street but thatâs New Orleans! We enjoyed our stay and the attention that we received from Pamela.
We came to New Orleans for Mardi Gras 2024.
Pamela, our host, was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in NOLA.
This property was very comfortable with tasteful decor, great beds, nice bathroom towels, and a well stocked kitchen for cooking & dining.
The neighborhood was quiet with nice neighbors. There was ample safe street parking.
Five minute drive to St. Charles Street.
Our stay in this house added to our wonderful memories of our first Mardi Gras!
The Location is better than you think. The neighborhood is quiet. It is easy to get everywhere by car or Uber. The House is very very clean and comfortable. The pictures are accurate. House has everything you could need inside. Easy check and very nice owner, we really enjoyed our stay.
Very convenient, easy check-in. Urban/eclectic neighborhood setting that mirrors the New Orleans backdrop. Not for the faint of heart but I felt safe at all times
Pamela was an amazing host. She answered all my questions promptly and made sure we were all set before we arrived. The home was just as pictured clean and spacious. A group of 6 stayed here for a weekend in New Orleans. Uber rides no more than $13 to the French quarter. I highly recommend and will definitely book this property in the future when visiting New Orleans. Thank you Pamela for making our stay awesome and comfortable!
Great Location & Beautiful Space, with a Few Comfort Challenges
We had a great stay at this beautifully decorated property just a short uber from the convention centerâsuper convenient for our trip! The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with stylish touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable. One of the best parts of the stay was the hostessâshe was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a good experience. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed, which made a big difference. That said, there were a few issues worth noting. Despite the air conditioning, the unit stayed quite warm during the day and into the evening. The AC would constantly readjust the temperature warmer than set. Even with fans, it was warm. The hostess did bring an additional fan when we contacted her about the issue. Curtains or blackout shades would go a long way in helping with both temperature control and privacy. Additionally, the neighbors could be a bit noisy at times, especially in the evenings, which might be something to keep in mind if youâre a light sleeper.Overall, the location and design of the space, combined with the outstanding host support, made this a solid choiceâjust be prepared for some heat and bring earplugs if youâre sensitive to noise.
The exterior is not as the pictures reflect as I'm guessing a substantial about if time has passed, but by no means was it a negative. The interior was beautiful and matches the photos you see. The only negative is the barndoor for the master bath is 1-2 inches to narrow and doesn't completely cover the opening for total privacy. Aside from that it was a great experience. Totally recommend to anyone.
Les points faibles : Communication et emplacement
Clean but bad neighborhood
The home itself is clean and looks like the photos. The beds are comfortable and enjoyable to sleep on. It sounds like an animal is sleeping under the house directly under the master bathroom tub floor. The master bathroom shower needs a new door as it only covered halfway and water gets all over the bathroom. The shared wall with a door in the master bedroom could use a lock on the inside for safety. The entire placed smelled like Marijuana. I shared all of this with the owner/management at checkout so they could know what was going on (especially if there are animals under the house) but I didnt get a response so we decided the leave a review. Overall the house was nice but in a rough neighborhood.
Accommodations was good , great locations to downtown and French quarter .. Host was great with communication and follow up .. I fully recommend this location to anyone who is staying in the city âŠ
Recommend putting another railing on steps out front
Recommend putting another lock on inside front and back doors
Recommend putting another shower door in master bathroom because water gets on the bathroom floor
Couldnât get ice machine to work and filter needs changing
other than that everything was lovely
Dorethea
The home was very nice. Exactly like the photos and the host, Pameala was very quick to communicate. No issues checking in or out. We were a little concerned with location at first but after being there, we have zero concerns. Anyone we saw was friendly and the street was quiet. Walkable during the day and lyft rides at night. All in all, it was a great exoerience and we look forward to going back.
It's rare to find pictures that match the home entirely but this was one of those rare finds. The inside was lovely and perfect for us. We had a small issue with the AC but the homeowner jumped on the issue and fixed it and also provided us with compensation for the issue. We were a little worried about the neighborhood but we didn't have any issues.
We had a great stay here! Never been to New Orleans before so was unsure of the area but it was fine. We were happy to not be in the French Quarter.. itâs so busy and annoying. We did walk there a few times but loved the Garden District waaay better. A few blocks walk and we were there. The house was very clean and nice! All the essentials were included. Was mostly quiet. Would def return!
Pamela has a beautiful home. It was so great to come home to at night after a long day of conferences and sightseeing. Everything was great except the neighborhood was a little shady. We didnât realize until an Uber driver told us not to walk out at night. But it wasnât a big deal because we took Ubers at night anyway. Pamela took great care in listing coffee shops and restaurants based on our itinerary and regularly checked in with us. It was a wonderful experience and she took great care in hosting us.
Wonderful host, 8- 10 minute ride to french quarter
Our group of 6 adults rented this house to visit New Orleans as everyone but myself had never been. This house a quick walk to the street cars that run by the french market and around the city which is a nice cheap (only $1.25) way to see the city provided the heat index isn't 104. It is also within walking distance to the many local shops on Magazine street (we walked down there everyday for coffee, recommend the District's Hot chicken & Honey butter french toast biscuit). It's also a short (8-10min/$10-$14 Lyft)drive to basically everywhere your going to go except the gator tours (20-30 minutes/ $25-$35 Lyft ride depending on which tour you go on.). The home itself is on a block with other homes that have been revitalized, and the pictures that are listed with it are spot on.
Welcome! I love to travel and experience new cultures and places. I have been know to move to cities to fully experience the culture. I live between New Orleans, Louisiana and Oakland, California always checking out local good food spots with a a delicious red wine with good company. Things that are important to me when I travel are a clean and safe place to leave my belongings and a comfortable bed.
This property was designed for the traveler that enjoys a staying in an urban area, quiet enough to miss all the daily noisy life of a city but close to all the attractions. We provide comfortable beds with either a firm or medium support pillows.
