HYGGE TOWER APARTMENT

Come stay in the most unique Danish Designed apartment in the charming town of Solvang, California. This apartment is the a replica of the famous round tower (Rundetårn) that is in Copenhagen, Denmark. This “Round” 3 story apartment (so be aware you will be climbing stairs!) is located right in downtown Solvang so is within walking distance to everything in town. The luxury apartment designed in a modern, cozy (HYGGE) Danish design can very comfortably sleep 2 and can accommodate 4 with a second Murphy bed located in the main living area downstairs. It has a giant 80” TV for all your movie/sports watching - a great spacious, fully equipped kitchen and just a great vibe to the whole place - we hope you will love it as much as we do!
The apartment has many amenities that you will love - from a heated mattress pad in the king bed upstairs, to down pillows and comforters, deluxe coffee makers and coffee provided, bathroom amenities also provided such as shampoo and make-up mirror not to mention yummy soft towels! We try and make the apartment as comfy and cozy and provide as many little conveniences as we can to make your stay as care free and convenient as possible. We know you are on vacation and don’t want to worry about all those little luxuries that make things so much more enjoyable so we try to provide everything we can think you may need ....... if you have any special requests just ask and we will try our best to deliver if it is within our means. Beautiful views from the outside of the top of the towers outdoor patio area - stargazing over the town at night or people watching during the day is sure to be loved by all.
This is an amazing getaway that you will not want to miss.

Wonderful stay in Solvang

We stayed at Hygge Tower for the Christmas holiday this year and it was perfect! Just a short walk to all the festivities of Solvang, but also very private and cozy. Great kitchen stocked with supplies, big TV and really comfy bed! We’ll absolutely be back again to enjoy this gem in Solvang.

Amazing stay in Solvang

This is by far the best place we have stayed in the Santa Ynez valley! The place was clean, had tons of character and was perfect for our weekend getaway. It is even more beautiful than the pictures! Thank you! We will absolutely be back!

This property is beautiful and very clean. It has everything you need. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. It was perfect! The owner was kind, turned on the AC for our arrival and was welcoming. Highly recommend.

Hygge par excellence

Despite a very minor hiccup at checkin, this stay was perfect. The location is unbeatable. The amenities were top-notch. And even the aforementioned minor hiccup was recovered with grace and graciousness. Laura and Max made sure we were covered and felt at home.

Wow! Absolutely Perfect!

This place is such a gem. The location is perfect. We never used our car at all. Parking was super easy in the back of the building. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace was a nice spot for a glass of wine. The host was super easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again. We may even brings the kids next time :)

Perfect Solvang Basecamp

We just returned from a great weekend at the Hygge Tower in Solvang. The entirety of the town is a short walk from your doorstep, with some of the best-rated restaurants and bakeries less than a block away. We appreciated how quiet the tower was no matter the time of day. The lower level with its well-stocked fridge and friendly living room made it easy to relax when we returned from our adventures. Thanks for the hospitality and we hope to come back.

Solvang Gem!!! Look no further

Comfortable and so beautifully decorated. Location is fantastic surrounded by shops and restaurants but feels so private. Lots of windows to take in the views. Felt like a princess here. 360 degree views up on the roof of the private tower. Great comfortable bed and furnishings. Nespresso provided and there’s a bakery just steps away. Yum! Thank you Laura and Max, we loved it!!

Awesome Anniversary Trip

My wife and I went to stay in Solvang for the first time and were lucky to find this rental. Originally I had been looking at hotels in the area, but saw this pop up and am so happy I did not let the opportunity pass. This property is unique, charming, well located and comfy! Loved every aspect of it. The owners were responsive and helpful (my first time to the area). The tower apartment sits above a pizza parlor (pretty good pizza) with an unparalleled view of the town from the top of the tower. It is easy walking distance to anything in town. From the tower we had a great view of a SpaceX Starling Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg...awesome (and the owners told us about it so we wouldn't miss it). Can't wait to stay there again if we can find an opening.

Exception rental

This is one of the few exception rentals you'd find on vrbo. The apartment is by all aspects spacious and luxurious with attention to loving details. Perfectly located, the apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floor, with a bakery at the door and a pizzeria underneath. But it is very quiet, except for the trash pickup and the parking cleaners who do their job at 5am with leaf blowers (who invented that thing?). The access to the private patio on top of the tower is acrobatic if your carry your dinner with you, but well worth the effort for the unique view and unique sitting. It is a splurge, but there is no reason to discount if it is rented out.

You are the 2nd one to complain about trash pick up and I totally agree - I’m not sure I can change their schedule but I sure would like to! With all the days in the week why do they have to do it on a weekend day!!!! I’m going to see what I can do about that and I’m not sure who is using the blowers and have people never heard of a broom? So sorry about that but we do appreciate you staying there and will hopefully do it again 🤗 Laura & Max

Absolutely Amazing Apartment

My husband and I travel to Solvang often and we went for my birthday this past weekend. From the moment of booking we were greeted with all the info we needed to check in. The apartment exceeds expectations, the pictures sent do it justice. The apt is decorated with impeccable taste with every detail down to a brand new Kurig & Nespresso. Laura left me a beautiful card, a bottle of wine , flowers & danish chocolates so when we entered I was just in awe and I felt so special. The kitchen was fabulous to cook in. We watched coming to america 2 on the large screen in the living room and enjoyed a glass of wine before bed on the top level balcony or the tower.... it was truly epic. Oh and the Solvang Bakery & Pizza place are just below so its awesome for your late night snack and early morning pastry. We will be back for sure!!

Perfect Solvang Location

Overall: Luxurious and cozy warm. Modern and well appointed. There was not anything we needed that was missing. Location: Walking distance to all the shops wiith lots of dining options. A short drive opens up even more options. There is a huge amount of parking adjacent to the apartment. We could actually see our truck from the kitchen window. We were close to an area where we could walk (and pick up after) our dog. Kitchen: Full disclosure; we did not cook here as we wanted to try restaurants. However we are big chefs and looked through the kitchen and it is equiped. The space would have been a pleasure to use. There were snacks and beverages available on arrival. The wine selection was amazing! The island eating area has comfortable seating and pleanty of space for 4 people. There is lovely morning sunlight in the kitchen (and blinds to block it if desired). Living Room: Cozy, warm and comfortable area. Very large screen TV for use, books and games. There is a large chest style Murphy Bed that we did not use. The open concept with the kitchen flows nicely. Also downstairs: Laundry room off kitchen with half bath. We did not do laundry but the area is modern and clean. Having a second bathroom is wonderful. Upstairs bedroom: Wow! Warm, cozy and luxurious!! LOTS of mirrored closet space. Extra pillows and blackets. Really great blanket on lounging chair that can be used downstairs for snuggling while watching TV. Bathroom: Two seperated vanities with sinks and lots of counter space. Plug in lighted make-up mirrror. Large shower with dual shower heads. This is a fab bathroom. Rooftop deck: A circular open metal staircase leads to thee rooftop deck with bartop table seating for morning coffee and evening drinks. The views from here are wonderful, mountain vistas as well as the the town and the windmill. Everything was lit up for Christmas and so festive looking. Our dog would not climb the stairs to the rooftop deck as much as we tried to encourage her. We ate breakfast two times at Brekkies. They have a great outdoor space (dogs allowed) and the best gluten free waffles I've ever had. We would recommend this property!!

This home is exceptional! Spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated. Fantastic large kitchen. The view from the 360 degree terrace at the top of the tower is the best in town. Well stocked with beverages and snacks for purchase at a reasonable price.

Hidden Gem! Simply Fantastic.

We stumbled on this property when researching the town of Solvang for a Girls Trip. We are four very busy, working Moms, who have been friends for over 30 years (living in different parts of California). We were long overdue for a getaway, and this property was the PERFECT place to unplug and spend some great quality time together. There are two beds that are VERY comfortable. There is one full bathroom with a shower and two sinks (perfect for 4 women to get ready in) and one half bathroom on the main level. The kitchen is very well equipped and where we spent a lot of our time enjoying treats and food from the local bakeries, restaurants and wine bars. The owners thought of every detail from comfy bedding, toiletries and kitchen items - we could have stayed there without leaving the entire time. I am always hesitant to rent from private owners (I'm a bit of a clean-freak, and this property was incredibly clean! A HUGE deal to me!!) Check in was easy and Laura was very communicative and thoughtful. She gave us an incredible list of things to do and see. She even went to the property before we arrived to turn on the a/c (it was VERY hot that weekend) and lights for an amazing welcome. We waited to book due to the price, however, TRUST ME - IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! If you are looking to have great memories, connect with Friends, Family or Loved ones, you can't go wrong with this beautiful property. We hope to make this place a tradition for us to meet each year! We'd give it 10 STARS if we could.

No better place in Solvang!

Absolutely fantastic place stay! For me, location is key to any place I'm staying. I want to be near everything, but I also don't want to feel like I'm in a crowd and surrounded the entire time. Hygge fits the bill. Step out of the apartment, and you can grab a pizza and a beer at Tower Pizza. Walk a few paces and you've got a few shops to start souvenir shopping. Then cross the street and you've got the rest of Solvang. Shops, restaurants... you name it. An added bonus, was how much of a conversation piece staying here was. My girlfriend and I went wine tasting in the neighboring towns and the locals know exactly what we were talking about. I think we got some generous pours because of it too. The apartment itself was equally great. Very clean and lots of windows, so lots of sunlight. Having a drink on the top deck watching the sun set was a nice way to relax before going out to dinner. Although it was windy on our evenings there, so a jacket was required. Overall, I can't recommend Hygge enough and I look forward to my next stay here.

Best VRBO in Solvang

This rental is hands down the best in Solvang. We stayed two nights snd wish we could've stayed longer. We chose It, because it is centrally located and within walking distance of the best dining and shopping areas of the City. The apartment itself is located in a round tower adjacent to a windmill and is styled in the hygge tradition. We loved how cozy and comfortable it was. To top it all off, the owners were super communicative and extremely nice prior to and during our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were settled. We will definitely be back!
