Our family of 8 stayed here, 4 adults and 4 children. It was perfect for us. The layout and accommodations are perfect if you have someone in your party in a wheelchair. The kids loved the upstairs loft and the back porch was amazing as well. We cooked at the cabin a few times and we had everything we needed as far as cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. It was a wonderful time.
For us personally this property was absolutely perfect.. My mother has R.A. and both her knees need replacement surgery so it was very nice to have the ramp and no stairs to get in for her and the room she stayed in was perfect for her on the main floor and with the handles by the toilet and the shower.. Her rooms shower was a walk in with bench seating (We all ended up using her shower because it was so nice).. The back porch/deck was one of our favorite places with the swing and hot tub (we spent a lot of time out there).. And the property manager/owner was wonderful and was on top of making sure everything was perfect for us.. She was very easy to get a hold of if we needed her for anything.. Location was wonderful for getting to the attractions very close and very easy to get to.. I could go on forever about how wonderful everything was.. Even after my mom gets her surgery to fix her knees we will still make it a point to stay at this particular cabin just because of our experience.. Definitely on top of our list of best places we have stayed.
We plan to stay again here! This is the best cabin we have ever stayed at, the only thing we disliked was having to leave so soon! A beautiful place with a welcoming atmosphere, and with my mother being in a wheelchair the amenities were perfect. I was also traveling with a 3 month old and it was perfe t for him as well! 10/10 recommend!
We loved the cabin! The wheelchair accessibility is great! My mother in law ( who has trouble walking) had a bedroom of her own with a step in shower. My daughter ( who is in a motorized wheelchair) had a walk in shower too!! The cleanliness and supplies of the cabin were amazing! The location was perfect being in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This is a barrier free cabin which is very hard to find and we greatly appreciated it!! Would book here again. Highly recommended
Our stay was amazing. Check in was super easy especially where we rolled in at 3am. Host Stacey was very quick to respond with the questions I had. We would for sure stay there again.
Our stay at this property was very enjoyable. The two master bedrooms/bathrooms on main floor provide easy access for those with any physical limitations. Very spacious and clean. The view from the deck was lovely and the two-person swing was a plus. Would definitely stay at this property again.
We located the cabin online looking for wheelchair accessibility. We contacted the host with a few questions and decided to book. We arrived and were even happier in person with the cabin, location, view, and accessibility of the cabin. We spent the entire week and never had one issue. We even had turkeys in the yard! We will definitely be booking this one again soon!
Beautiful cabin and views. The cabin layout was perfect for my son in his wheelchair. The cabin was open and the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor was one of the reasons we chose this cabin. We had a wonderful family vacation enjoyed seeing all the Christmas lights and Dollywood.
We had a great time during our stay. This house wasnât as close to Sevierville as I have stayed before, but I think overall it was a better location for those wanting to site see around the area. It was a good central location and about the same distance/time from all the things we wanted do in the area, whether it was Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Sevierville which was nice. Every room had a Roku/smart TV so we were all able to watch our own shows whenever we had downtime at the cabin. Also each bedroom had their own bathroom which made mornings and nights much easier. We were traveling with an 84 and 90 year old, so overall accessibility was one of my main concerns, but his cabin turned out to be perfect. It had a good hillside view off the porches while still having a flat entry path from the driveway. So they both were able to still enjoy watching the squirrels/birds in the trees without having to climb stairs on/off either porches. We will definitely be back!
The impression wqs Fabulous but it is more than 10 to 15 minutes from town. By the time all the requirements for checkout we should have to check out by 10.
This cabin hit the spot. I was able to park the van in the driveway to unload the individuals in wheelchairs. There were more than enough room for them to move around. I love it that it was not located too much up in the mountains. I will definitely recommend this cabin if you are traveling with a larger vehicle. I will definitely visit this spot again soon. Thank you for the great hospitality â€ïž
Perfect cabin in the mountains but not too far from all the tourist activities. The view from the back deck was awesome and the inside was very modern and wheelchair friendly.
Cabin is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Rental contact was accommodating and polite. We enjoyed the back deck and the view. The hot tub was well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. Cabin was supplied with necessities. Would stay again.
Great views. Shower worked okay for our wheelchair bound son but be aware a full sized wheelchair will not fit fully in the shower. The rest of the 1st floor had ample room for him to roll & navigate. Getting in & out of the cabin was no issue. There was an issue with the hot tub but the owner did get a professional in to fix it within a couple of days. Location is about 20 minutes from both Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Overall nice stay & would rent again.
We had a great stay at this cabin! The view from the deck was amazing and the patio area up front had great hammock seating and a fire pit. The hot tub was a fun addition. The upstairs bedroom is a loft so anyone sleeping up there will be awake until people in the living room go to bed, so just be mindful of that. Overall a great stay!
We had an amazing time at Firefly cabin. It was very welcoming and clean. I loved the open layout of the kitchen leading to the living room and the big sectional was big enough to fit all of our family. The cabin has an electric fireplace that the kids enjoyed. My only safety concern was the room upstairs for the kids. Thereâs an open window right above a small dresser and it is a danger for kids to easily climb it and fall down to the first floor. We often had to stop and check on the two four-year-olds because of their curiosity to peek down from that window to the first floor.
Several years ago I visited Tennessee for the first time while on a business trip and when I left it felt like I was leaving home. The following summer my family and I visited Gatlinburg and for the first time a dream of moving to the Smoky Mountains someday took root. We love visiting the mountains as often as possible and we love sharing our cabin with others and our hope is that they enjoy it as much as we do!
The cabin feels "away from it all" and away from the hustle and bustle, but is just 15 minutes to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. If you are looking for a true get away, you don't even need to leave the cabin as everything you need to enjoy a relaxing family getaway is there.
We fell in love with this cabin the moment we walked in the door and saw the wall of windows and the gorgeous views of Mt. LeConte. The layout of this cabin is so ideal, with two large bedrooms on the main level and a separate space upstairs that is perfect for the kids to have a space all their own. The cabin is so cozy and was designed for relaxation and building family memories. Play board games or outside games, read a book on the dreamy swinging bed, roast marshmellows or relax in the hot tub.
