The Tree House - Easy Access to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg Attractions, Events, Shops & Outdoor Fun!
The Tree House is a lovely 1-bedroom, 1œ-bathroom cabin for 4 located in beautiful Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Tucked among the trees, this getaway offers plenty of peace and serenity. Enjoy wooded views as you soak away stress in the bubbling outdoor hot tub or sip a drink from the rocking chairs on the deck. You can fire up the charcoal grill for cookouts on nice days or whip up a hearty meal in the fully equipped kitchen inside.
Have a nice bath in the jetted tub before bed and then climb into the king-size bed and watch TV. After a long day hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or strolling around downtown Gatlinburg, come back to curl up on the sofa with a good book at this charming cabin. Plus, you'll have Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, DVD and CD players, and a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.
Enjoyed the area at Christmas time. Cabin was clean, pet friendly but no real room for outside activity. Otherwise would stay there again without my elderly pet.
It was an okay place to stay. It did have a strange smell and not having anything besides a DVD player in the bedroom was a little annoying. Cleanliness was alright. The hot tub and game table downstairs was nice.
Unfortunately, this cabin was not in rentable condition: It needed a good carpet cleaning. Comforter/pillows were torn, had holes and in "very well used" condition. Downstair sink immediately filled with water. Had to pry out the stuck stopper and use a plunger to release an approx 8 inches of wadded hair. Washer did not work properly and had to be plugged in by extension cord across the bedroom floor. I had to crawl on the disgusting floor behind the washer to first plug it in the socket only to discover it would not to turn on. So we deduced it was plugged into an extention cord because the socket behind the washer was not usable. Kitchen hotpads were ratted and threadbare. MANY items were broken: hooks in bathroom, toilet paper holders. . . No typical items you would find in a good rental like coffee filters for the coffee machine or hangers. The closet was full of their items so it was hard to hang laundry that took 3 hours to wash in a machine that had to be restarted repeatedly on hangars we had to make an extra trip to find a store to purchase. Positives: Bed was comfortable. Fortunately, we found an extra blanket in a dresser. Kitchen table was nice.
This cabin was in an amazing location! We loved its charm, the hot tub, the jetted tub, and the foosball table. The washer/dryer were great to have on site. Communication was great with property manager. The only downfalls were the fact that we only had 3 plates (although the cabin accommodates 4 people) and the TV downstairs didnât have access to the internet, so we couldnât watch anything. The cabin advertises DVDâs in the house, but there was 1 set of 4, all inappropriate for kids. These were minor issues. Overall, we were very happy with the cabin.
This property could be great, but the washer did not work and they could not fix it without the owner's permission. And the owner was unreachable within a 10 hour time period. So we were unable to do laundry which we brought with us because we left work directly to get to the weekend get away and needed to wash scrubs before work Monday. Also the hot tub which was going to be relaxing after a enjoyable but grueling 12 mile hike in the Smoky's was a WARM tub - we could not get it past 95 degrees. So basically 2 major components we counted on were unsatisfactory. So we had to leave the area earlier than expected on Sunday to get back and do laundry. Overall, would not recommend this cabin, but would recommend the area.
The location of this rental was spectacular and very secluded for my Wife and I. The Hot Tub at Master Bedroom level was also fantastic. The stay was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. Those were the good attributes of the property. So much could be done with this property to easily improve it. First off, remove fake Christmas tree with bulbs on only the top of the tree. It is the end of April after all and it is not appealing. Foosball table in the middle of the master bedroom? ALWAYS IN THE WAY and of little use. The pollen and dust was so thick on all outside furniture that we had to clean it. Obviously, this was completely overlooked. Some of the dishes had to be re-washed as they were dirty. Finally, consider caulking and paint in the very near future. The master bedroom baseboard, in particular, is a mess. Not much more to say about the property, other than it was WAY OVERPRICED for the condition that it was in. Would look for better options the next time around.
The cabin was great! Very clean, cozy and great amenities. However, the roads leading to the cabin are very narrow. Halfway up the mountain it essentially turns into a one way with people speeding down the mountain. I understand itâs a mountain road and expected steep and curvy but had I known the roads were so narrow I likely wouldâve stayed somewhere else. Just wish it were mentioned with the listing.
The cabin itself was very clean very nice and neat. Everything worked just as it was told the description was spot on. The crew at cabins for you are very fast responding to emails even early in the morning. Will definitely pick cabins for you next time we book a trip.
Everything was there to have a nice little getaway stay the whole time we were there. Close enough to town to be able toâ in and get food. But far enough out that we were very well
Overall my family really liked the location and the cabin itself. ButâŠ.the bottom floor has shifted so the floor and the trim are about 3 inches difference. Causing centipedes to be able to live there. They were constantly crawling out of the wall You could pick up the 12 in the floor and 5 min later 12 more would be right back. They were coming out of the ceiling and would fall on our head into the luggage. I was consistently cleaning centipedes with the vacuum and broom. Yes I know we were in the woods and a few would be one thing but to have them everywhere crawling outta walls and causing my 10 year to be completely frieked out. We packed up after being told we had to deal with it and left. This is probably my last family vacation seeing as how there is no more options for my stage 4 cancer so cabins for you created a memory experience into something they wonât be able to forget once Iâm gone! Never again!
