Beautiful home just minutes from downtown Cville! This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is the perfect place for your family and friends to get together for UVA events or visit downtown. Located in the Rugby Hills area, Greenaway is a great central location for whatever brings you to Charlottesville.

Our initial impression was a bit disappointed at the appearance of the property, but it proved to be a comfortable stay for our extended family, with sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a safe, quiet, convenient neighborhood.
Our group of friends had a great stay here! The house is as shown in the pictures and the location is great for visiting Charlottesville and the surrounding area. Ample street parking is available and there were plenty of towels and dishes. They didnât have a long list of items to do to checkout which was nice since everyone had to get on the road early the last day. Definitely recommend!
We have stayed in many vacation rental homes, and none have been as well appointed in the kitchen as this one. We really appreciated that. The kitchen is updated and the appliances are very nice. The overall cleanliness, however, of the property could be enhanced and the yard certainly needs Attention. We imagine it would be a wonderful place for families with small children! is this one we really appreci
Perfect place for friends of 30 years to meet for the weekend. We had plenty of space and it was convenient to everything we wanted to do in town. We really missed having a TV in the upstairs living room to watch the March Madness basketball games. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The house was a little further from the heart of Charlottesville. We thought we would be able to walk to shops that was not the case we did however fall in love with the house just because it had everything in it we needed. I am very picky, so donât listen to me really. Iâm sure you and your family will have a great day.
A perfect location for friends visiting Charlottesville. Close to UVA and the downtown mall. And most importantly, very close to Bodos. Would stay again.
This house was perfect for a bachelorette weekend! Also would be happy to come back with kids :) the owners were also very kind and called us ahead of check in to answer any questions and give us a heads up about a few things. Would rent again!
Accommodation was very spacious and perfect for our needs. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Room Decor was nice. Great neighborhood location.
We stayed in this house for a few days, and it was perfect for our big family with 5 small kids! There is a well-equipped toy room and second family room downstairs, climbing wall, crib, and extra folding chairs. We appreciated the extra space and toys. The space was clean and functional, and the property management company was easy to work with. Definitely recommend!
Everything was great. Only we were not left any dishwasher detergent. I did call the number you gave me. It only got a voice mail so we hand washed most dishes but had to leave early this AM and left a few cups, etc in dishwasher.
The basement was full of spiders and a cricket and had what appeared to be mouse droppings, or maybe just more bug remnants, in the bathroom. The house is extremely old and the basement needs major renovations to improve its temperature as it gets extremely cold when the AC is run to cool the upstairs to a desirable temperature. Also, the entire house has hardwood floors and as such it is extremely noisy. Whatever is going on in one part of the home can be heard everywhere else. I do NOT recommend staying here if you have small children or do not like bugs.
So as the title states the property was not what we expected
Let me begin with what we liked
âą House had plenty of room. 4 adults and 2 teens
âą Bathrooms and kitchen were updated
âą Good water pressure for showers
âą AC worked well
âą Quiet neighborhood and good location to surrounding attractions
What we didn't like
âą When we opened the front door the weather stripping fell off
âą House had cobwebs at entrance and at several of the windows
âą House had a distinct odor when you walked in. Reminded me of walking into a cabin in the woods that has not been visited for several months.
âą 3 of the 6 guests had sinus issues during the stay. House seemed dusty
âą There were air purification packages throughout the basement. Would have benefited with a dehumidifier
âą stains on chairs
âą glass in the book shelves was actually cracked(taped up)
I understand the house is older but we have stayed in older homes (using VRBO) but have never experienced any issues like the ones we had at Property # 2186194. Looking out through some the window they were heavily covered with cobwebs, the musty odor was annoying but there was not much we could do about it, the house needs a filter to help with the dust, and overall, it could use some TLC. I just expected more of the house/accommodations considering we paid over $1k a night.
The house is in a good location and has potential, but it needs attention.

Fun stay. AC went out one day in but the property manager was vigilant and got us into a second property that was newer and bigger near Scott Stadium. Ended up being a great week, thanks!
Neighborhood felt safe and is very close to Downtown Mall and UVA. Convenient parking for at least 4 cars. Beds were comfortable. Our group was 8 adults and it felt like we had room to spare. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy to correspond with host. Thank you, we had a great time!
Enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house was spacious enough for 6 adults. We appreciated it being so close to a coffee shop and even walked downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and the rooms were very comfortable. The parking out front was never a problem. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time during our short stay in Charlottesville and this house was the perfect spot to stay! Lots of room, nicely appointed kitchen, and comfy beds. The toys and things like white noise machines were particularly appreciated since we were traveling with our two young kids. The location is so close to amazing restaurants and breweries and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. Weâd for sure seek this place out if weâre ever back in the area!
The girls and I had such a blast on our getaway to Charlottesville, VA, and this house was a big part of it! Such a great location to the city center and the house had everything we could need; and then some! You wonât be disappointed!
