Lovely home and very clean. I am sure this isn't the owners doing, but when typing points of interest when choosing a place, this home popped up 2.3 miles from Old Dominion University. It is definitely not 2.3 miles. It's about 4.7 which isn't huge, but when trying to be as close to your first born on family weekend it was definitely a determining factor. A few recommendations...motion light outside. Very dark around both front and back especially if you are coming in after 7 pm. nightlight in bedrooms. They are filled to the max and if you are over 40 and using the restroom in the night hours, watch your toes. And wifi...TV and phones don't work together. Roku TVs didn't work more than 3 minutes at a time. Requesting to restart or not able to connect. Tried to watch a movie on the main TV at 8 pm and "check your connect" appeared more than a 90 minute movie should.
This property was a new renovation, close to a body of water, close to highways, and less than 10 minutes from downtown. We loved the design, the charm, and the location. You'll notice the baby strollers, joggers, dog walkers, and children in this amazing historic neighborhood.
Compare us to beach front vacation rental properties prices. We are a fraction of the cost and just a short drive to the same beaches. You'll love the interior of the home, newly renovated and decorated to feel at home.
