Welcome to East Zion Trails Retreat, a luxurious 5-bedroom haven in the private Zion Ridge community. Minutes from Zion National Park, this spacious home blends comfort and adventure. Unwind in your private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or grill up a feast. With five en-suite bedrooms, including a kids' bunk room, it's perfect for families or groups. Ideally located for exploring Utah's wonders, you're close to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon.

As you step into East Zion Trails Retreat, you're immediately struck by the sense of spaciousness and comfort. The heart of the home is a welcoming living area, centered around a cozy gas fireplace. This inviting space is perfect for gathering with loved ones to plan the day's adventures or relax in the evening, with the warmth and ambiance of the fireplace adding to the home's charm.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to elaborate dinners. Ample dining space ensures meals become cherished moments of togetherness. Each of the five bedrooms is a sanctuary, complete with its own private bathroom for ultimate convenience and privacy. Four adult bedrooms offer peaceful retreats, while the upstairs bunk room becomes a magical hideaway for younger guests, sparking imagination and creating lasting memories.

Multi_Family Spring Break

I rarely write reviews so it takes an above or below expectations for me to take the time. East Zion Trails Retreat was definitely above average. We had a two large families and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was so well equipped and the "book of knowledge" which included info on hikes and menus was so helpful especially with the different age ranges. Communication and cleanliness exceeded expectations as well. This is the place to start! Enjoy Zion!

Perfect Retreat

Great home for large families, adults and children! Four king-sized bedrooms ALL with an en-suites kids bunk room with their own bathroom. And multiple living spaces to spread out. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil/appliance you need! The star gazing at this property is really special. Our only feedback was the wifi was kicking us off occasionally which may make remote working a challenge. Conveniently close to Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort with day passes available for the pool shuttles available to the East Mesa Trail head. We will most certainly be returning.

Family trip

Great place to stay to visit the national parks in the area. Beautiful and well equipped home. Very comfortable and the hosts were great communicators. Loved it and would recommend!

Great location, beautiful property and clean!

LOVED this property! A perfect size for family and extended family. Perfect amenities, enough seating and it was perfect everyone had there own bathroom. The owners were prompt and their communication was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

Great for a large family trip

Great house for a large family gathering. House was well stocked. The layout is great for hanging out and still having quiet bedrooms to retreat to. Fire pit and hot tub were great reasons to be outside. Location is great for acess to Zion and not too far from Bryce. Plenty of things to see/do in the area. Host was very responsive.

Lots of Room!

Had a nice stay at this home which had ample room for 9 adults. Kitchen was well equipped and nice spot in the woods. We had a great hike nearby to the top of Observation Point via the Stave Spring Trail. Love the Zion area and hope to be back!

Perfect for our trip

The house was perfectly located for our visits to Zion and Bryce. We loved the spaciousness of the house, the well-equipped kitchen, and the gas grill on the back porch. We were a group with several couples so the fact that each bedroom (except the bunk room) had its own bathroom was a real bonus!

Zion private luxury home

We just had a few days to spend at Zion. I’m so glad we decided to forgo staying in town and chose this gorgeous private home. We weren’t far from the east entrance to the park, which I think cut down on the line into the park. The home had plenty of room and nothing was missing. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit!!

Beautiful Home on the East Side of Zion --- The best side

This home is beautiful, clean and has everything needed for a wonderful stay. We loved being on east side of Zion which is less busy than the West side. Really enjoyed seeing the deer in the neighborhood and yard daily. Alex and Venessa were very helpful and quick to answer questions we had.

Very Nice house near East Zion Entrance

Great House and Very Responsive Owners. The house was clean, spacious, and well stocked. Location to Zion was great. Owners were responsive with all our questions before the trip and when there was an issue not due to the house but affecting us they immediately helped and updated us until it was resolved, I would highly recommend this house to my friends.

Perfect Place for Vacation

We loved our VRBO home selection! The owners Alex and Vanessa, went out of their way, beyond what I have ever seen with any other vacation home I have stayed in (which has been about 25+ homes), to make sure we had everything we need. The beds were very comfortable, the towels plush, the kitchen amenities abundant. The house was decorated beautifully and the furniture very comfortable. We were a party of 5 adults and 3 kids, ages almost 3, 5 and 8. We will definitely want to return one day.

Fabulous Stay

We stayed for 4 nights in June 2022, 2 adults and 6 kids age 17-20. The place was just perfect, and j=had everything we needed. We did multiple days on hikes in Zion, its about 40 minutes door to door to get parked and everything. Also had a great time doing the Pool and the sunset Jeep Tour at the adjacent Pondersosa Ranch. The kitchen, bedrooms, firepit were all a big hit for our group. We will recommend this to anyone and especially to our friends back in Ohio !

50th Birthday Extravaganza

We booked this house as it was next door to our sister’s place and had both family and friends celebrate my husband’s 50th! We hiked the trails down the street, the East Rim, the Overlook, Zion proper including Angel’s Landing, and many others. We also rented e- bikes, had dinner at the Ponderosa , went horseback riding, saw the baby pigmy goats, etc. The house was just perfect for the 8 of us, hot tub, outside fire, large living room and kitchen as well as enough bed/ bathrooms to accommodate all.

Beyond the Zion Curtain

High marks in all areas. The space is as advertised. What you see, is what you get. Located outside the national park, east entrance, in a quiet neighborhood on top of mesa Alex and Vanessa were excellent in addressing questions and needs regarding our stay in a prompt and professional, pleasant manor. Highly recommend...beautiful home and property.

Amazing home!

Great home with lots of space and amenities, great communication with owners. They were constantly checking in with me and making recommendations. On the day that we were set to leave there was a heavy amount of snow that fell and they reached out to me to let me know that there was no hurry for us to check out and we could have more time if we needed. Very thoughtful even though we didn't need the time it was a great jester on there part and we will definitely recommend this place. We hope to be able to spend many more vacation there with our family and friends.

Family Zion Trip

This property was large, clean and comfortable. Our family really enjoyed it. Our trip was in the summer and the higher elevation in East Zion provided beautiful mid 80 degree weather while the lower areas west of Zion were around 100 degrees. The activities outside of the park in East Zion area were phenomenal (canyoneering, slot canyon and UTV adventures) and the drive to Bryce Canyon was easy and enjoyable. Our kids also enjoyed the pool and the other activities at Zion Ponderosa as well. The only downside was that it's a minimum half hour drive to anything, and a little longer to drive to anything with multiple food options. Overall it was a great fit for our family and we really enjoyed our time in and around Zion National Park from this location.

Family Reunion

Get place to spend time with family. Loved having kitchen, great room and four bedrooms downstairs. Each bedroom had there own bathroom. The loft was great for the kids. We loved being outdoors and indoor. A beautiful cabin one we will return to.

Orderville Luxury Home

Our group of 8 stayed here for 4 nights, and we loved it. Zion was easy to access and the neighborhood is great. The rooms are large with plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen and living room is great for large groups. Lots of space. Everything was very clean. Alex and Vanessa made it easy for me to check in and texted me to make sure everything was OK. I would stay here again if I visit Zion in the future.

Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home.
Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.
