À propos de cet hébergement
East Zion Modern Farmhouse, Sleeps 14, Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Chef Kitchen
Plan a Zion trip the whole family actually enjoys. Wild Turkey is a six-bedroom modern farmhouse in Orderville, Utah, on Zion National Park's quiet East side — built for the kind of multigenerational trip where Grandma doesn't have to climb stairs, the kids get a real bunk room, and there's a kitchen big enough for everyone to cook in. Twenty-five minutes from Zion's East Entrance, one hour from Bryce Canyon, two hours from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Red rock cliffs frame nearly every window in the home.
THE MAIN LEVEL The primary king bedroom sits on the main floor with its own ensuite, a vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams, and pasture-and-mountain views — the room you give the grandparents. A second full bathroom serves the rest of the floor. The chef's kitchen anchors the home: an oversized island that seats five, double wall ovens, an induction cooktop, a pot filler over the range, a deep farmhouse sink, and a custom copper hood. Cliff views fill the windows over the sink. The formal dining table seats eight, with the kitchen island seating five more — room for everyone at mealtime. The living room frames the cliffs through floor-to-ceiling windows. Off the entry, a foosball room and an upright piano in the landing give the kids and the cousins their own zones.
UPSTAIRS — Two more king bedrooms, a queen, a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks (sleeps four kids comfortably), and a full bathroom. Down the hall, the upstairs library is the surprise of the house — built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a deep collection of books and puzzles, and a sleeper sofa that turns the room into a sixth sleeping space. An office nook with a desk faces the cliffs for whoever needs a quiet corner.
OUTDOOR LIVING The wraparound front porch has rocking chairs and a porch swing for morning coffee. Out back, the upper deck has a covered side dining area facing the cliffs and an open back section with a gas fire pit lounge and a gas BBQ — long evenings happen here. After dark, the back deck becomes the main event. Orderville is far enough from city lights that the Milky Way is part of the nightly view. Below the deck on a private lower patio, the hot tub sits year-round with cliff views of its own. The home looks out over a quiet hay field with the cliff line beyond.
WHAT'S PROVIDED Wi-Fi throughout, smart TVs in the living room and all three king bedrooms (sign into your own apps), two-zone HVAC for upstairs and downstairs comfort, washer and dryer in a dedicated laundry room. The kitchen is fully stocked for fourteen — cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, starter coffee, basic spices and oils, detergents, foil, plastic wrap, plastic bags, paper towels, and an ice chest for park days. We provide all linens, bath towels, spa towels for the hot tub, hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Pack-n-play and high chair available on request — just let us know when you book. Parking for 8 to 10 vehicles on-site, including space for trailers.
LOCATION Orderville sits between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, surrounded by red rock cliffs and open hay fields. Twenty-five minutes to Zion's East Entrance; about fifty minutes to Zion's main Visitor Center for shuttle access to The Narrows and Angels Landing; one hour to Bryce Canyon; thirty minutes to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park; two hours to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon; twenty-five minutes to Kanab for full grocery, dining, and gas. St. George airport is under two hours; Las Vegas and Salt Lake City are both about four to four-and-a-half hours.
GOOD TO KNOW AWD or 4WD recommended December through March — the area gets snow. Check-in 4 PM, check-out 10 AM via electronic keypad. The fireplace in the living room is decorative only, not for guest use.
HOUSE RULES Sleeps 14 maximum (infants under 2 don't count). No pets, no smoking inside, no events or parties. Primary booker must be at least 25. Quiet hours after 10 PM out of respect for the neighborhood.
