Beautiful House on the River

This was the perfect house for our family trip to St. Mary's -- nicely upgraded, well stocked and beautiful views. Will definitely return.

One of the Best!

I have been using VRBO for over 20 years in 5 countries and while all of them have been great, this was one of the best. Very clean, all amenities you could think of, very comfy beds, location was beautiful and nice area for runs/walks. St. James Deli was perfect and make sure you go to HSMC while you are there - an amazing historical archaeological site. Should we return, we will definitely rent this place again.

Long weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was in mint condition and had all the amenities we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, the fire pit, and the dock. Great place to spend a relaxing long weekend.

Fantastic Property

This property is very clean, well appointed, and well maintained. It is beautiful and right on the water. It truly feels like a home and the owners clearly take pride in it. It is our favorite house for when we come to St, Mary’s. Very convenient to the college as well.

GREAT STAY!!!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this property for several days! The accommodations were fantastic! Beautifully updated kitchen and bathroom, and tons of space for our 3 adults and 2 younger kids to spread out and all have their own rooms to sleep in. We will absolutely return!

Peaceful Waterfront Getaway

It was a wonderful secluded getaway! We found everything to be very appealing and well stocked. It provided a welcome pet free and smoke free environment. The four bedrooms gave us ample sleeping areas for our family. Having an information binder with user instructions and listings for nearby places of interest was a bonus. The highlights for us included water views from the pier and deck, screened porch, hot tub and fire pit. We recommend it!

Chesapeake Bay

We visited with three generations of our family. This is a well maintained and functional home. Great amenities and well equipped kitchen. Loved the screened in porch . Plenty of places to enjoy reading a book. The upstairs outdoor porch was a great place to watch during a thunderstorm. The dock was a good fishing spot for some of us.

Exactly what we wanted

This place is absolutely amazing. Came here for a fishing trip with friends and was blown away. Easy access to the water meant every day was spent with maximum time kayaking and fishing. Also had one of the best stocks kitchens of any rental I've used.

Lovely & Relaxing

The lawn & dock near the water was relaxing. There were several seating areas that let us spread out or gather together to chat. Kitchen and upstairs bathrooms were modern and beautiful.

Lovely home, amazing location

We had a fantastic weekend with college friends at this incredible house. The house was immaculate and very comfortable, very clean. We cooked in the amazing kitchen, and had enough bedrooms so each person could have their own. Bob was available to answer any questions. Our group tries to get together a couple of times a year, and everyone loved the location and wants to come back. Even though it rained most of the weekend, we enjoyed the screened in porch, top deck, and took the kayaks out one day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Peaceful Oasis

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house is just as listed and better. The home was clean, comfortable and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Bob was a great host. It was a nice surprise to find many essentials that we could use. The view is gorgeous. We hope to come back soon. Thank you.

Far better than advertised!!

Very clean, well kept and superior maintenance. I just wish the lawn crew would have vacuumed the grass clippings it was a true struggle to keep from dragging them everywhere! We did our best to keep them out of the house and hot tub!! Would definitely revisit this lovely home on the cove!

Great place for a relaxing getaway.

The owner was very responsive and helpful!! Our family of 7, between the ages of 6 - 82, stayed for a week and everyone had a good time. The beach and grass area was perfect for us. The old folks could sit and watch the young folks play in the sand. Our 11 year old granddaughter spend hours on the pier crabbing. The fishing off the pier was good. We enjoyed sitting on the pier in the mornings with our coffee and hearing Revielle and the National Anthem from the military base, as well as, Retreat and Taps in the evenings. The views were great from the balcony, the screen porch and the sun room. The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. We did find that the bath tub was very slick (one of the adults fell but is ok) and the upstairs shower was slick too. We had a great relaxing time it was the vacation we wanted.

Amazing waterfront getaway close to SMCM

This property was the perfect getaway for our family this Easter. My son had baseball games at SMC M, and also celebrated a birthday that weekend. It was less than five minutes from school in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The host, Bob’s communication was excellent throughout and he has done an amazing job with updates in this home. The home is more spacious than the pictures accounted for and had plenty of room for us to spread out including the perfect spot to relax see the sunrise over the river and enjoy coffee on the oversized sofa in the glass enclosed sunroom. The home offers all of the amenities we needed to prepare Easter dinner, and entertain family and friends We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway Spot!

House was perfect for a family of four. Kitchen, bathrooms, and house were modern and clean. Everything was in working order with plenty of amenities! Kayaks and life jackets all seemed newer and well kept. Perfect location to majestic and peaceful water. Tons of sitting spaces perfect for relaxing. Upstairs deck offers great views and inside downstairs area is perfect for little ones to play while still enjoying the water view. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night. Beach was small but fun for toddlers (though subject to tide) and the dock looked new. Bob communicated quickly and was very helpful. Saved this house for future bookings - definitely hope to escape here again sometime soon!

Beautiful setting and a great house! We stayed for a family wedding near the home, and it was awesome. I just wished we had no plans because I would have loved just being able to enjoy the home and the amenities.

Absolute Gem!

This place is everything that is advertised. Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. Beautiful views. The dock looked like it was recently upgraded. Private beach was perfect! Owner was very responsive to my questions. If you're looking to get-away and decompress, this is your location. The added Alexa technology in home made the experience top notch. I will be coming back to this location, and have recommended to several friends.

Amazing place to stay

The pictures does not do this house justice! There we 7 sisters and we had more than enough room. The only suggestion I have is to put some foam around the metal bed frame floor posts, hurt my toes a couple times lol or it could have been just me! Thanks for sharing your home.
