Weekend Getaway

The location is perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, stores etc. The only issue was that the A/C in the unit is undersized. It was a little warm during the day. Other than that the stay was fantastic.

Great Location!

The location was perfect and the actual cottage itself was adorable. You can walk everywhere you need to go! However, it is advertised as a B&B, but there was no breakfast included. Additionally, there is no WiFi, which made it difficult to check in with folks at home.

Sorry for the confusion. We became a Guest House last year when the pandemic hit and quit providing breakfast as a precaution. It is very difficult getting the information changed on the internet. Very glad that you liked my cottage and the location. I live here too and love having guests share our place.

Binky’s summer afternoon

Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good time in town but the rental was dusty and the coffee maker was junk and they left a complimentary smelly piece of what looked to be fried chicken and dipping sauce in the tv stand I have pictures if needed

Great spot

House was great, location so close to Main St, no shower--only a tub with a removal shower head. Found a few unwanted bugs inside. Site should say friendly "cats" on property, they were nice but definitely more than one lol. The picture shows multiple "houses" that are split to accommodate more guests, wish the map that was on the table was included in the listing. Other than those things, we enjoyed our weekend together here.

Only issue was the floor was not cleaned. The is only a tub with a shower head attachment which is a little inconvenient if you like showers, but we made due. I would stay here again.

Honestly the property was clean and GREAT location. However, based on the fact it was all in one room, with the exception of the potty. Taking a bath with no privacy is a little odd. I feel as though it was overpriced, especially with the VRBO fees that are added. It was not a "traditional bed & breakfast". No breakfast of any kind, no creamer for the coffee, not even a voucher for a muffin. It was a last minute booking for us, so our choices were limited. It is a great location and very clean.

Not what we thought it would be

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whoever took the pictures of this place did a good job because it is not what we expected at all. We are used to nicer places. There were concrete floors and one rug in the entire place so the floors were very cold. They only had space heaters for heat. There was not any silverware in the entire place so we couldn’t even stir our coffee. Luckily we brought our own sugar because they didn’t have any sugar or cream for the coffee. The property is right on the corner of two very busy streets so there was a lot of road noise.

Well-furnished and comfortable room

We really enjoyed our stay here. We spent a weekend in Fredericksburg and this was a very nice room in a small cottage. Has all the amenities you'll need, and there's a coffee shop next door. It's very close to main street and I would definitely stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: The area was OK, the little house space was OK as well, but we encounter issues with the maintenance and the biggest one was the roaches!! Big ones too!! I sent a couple of pictures to the manager/owner, and the response was as expected, an apology, but nothing else. She mentioned the other properties around, but we won't take any chances next time. I don't want roaches at my home.....

Perfect location for shopping

Overall very nice just needs a shower and jacuzzi is great. But the location is perfect for all walking distance for everything .
