Mehdi and Dalilah are fantastic hosts, so friendly and helpful: they even booked us a doctor's appointment for our son when he got an ear infection.
The house is spacious, modern, clean and warm and is in a nice area of Paris. It is perfectly placed to visit Disneyland and Paris centre. We had a great family holiday and would recommend it to anyone.
We had a very good time. The hosts had been very friendly, kind and helpful. The apartment provided everything that we needed and is conveniently located. A bakery, grocery store and public transport is nearby.
Nice enough place to stay. We were only there one night but the accomodations were good for 5 people.
We had some trouble with accessing the key through the key lock. Took many tries to get the combination to work and I think it was actually my daughters prayer that finally popped it open!
We had a great time. The apartment is spacious with plenty of storage and a washing machine and clean with everything you need to self-cater. There is a bus that runs from the bottom of the road to Brie sur Marne RER station 9mins away and then it's less than 20mins to the center of Paris from there. Or you can choose to walk to Noisy Champs RER only 20mins away.
Mehdi the owner is lovely and helpful and happy to help with any questions.
The area is lovely and quiet, it's a 5min walk to the nearest bakery on Boulevard de la Resistance and 10mins to the Super U at the crossroads with Avenue Emile Cossoneau. There's even a shopping bag with wheels in the apartment! Its less than 10mins to walk to bank of the Marne via the Rue de Ressau Robert Keller from where you can walk along it for a long way in each direction.
Recommend getting a week's Navigo card for travel - good value if you intend to travel into and/or around Paris much. We would love to come back...
We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful stay in Paris. The owner greeted us on arrival and walked us through the entire home. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Home was clean and remodeled. The hosts were very responsive on Whatsapp and through the VRBO message site. Apppliances worked well. Even had a small washer to wash some clothes and hang dry. They had plenty of towels which was nice. We just walked to and from the train station during the day. UBER was hard to get in that area.
I recommend getting a week long train pass (Monday-Sunday) upon arrival and going to the Noisy-Champs Train Station. Which is on the RER Red Line that ends at Disneyland. It drops you off about 15-17min walk away from the home. We used the train pass all week and it cost 35 Euros per person. It is about halfway to Disney from Paris so if youre planing a trip to see Mickey this is a great place. We also spent 4 days around Paris and navigating it with the train passes was fine. if you have lots of bags try getting a taxi or uber when you get to train station to get the the house. Once your bags are settled the walk back and forth is quick. Happy Vacationing.
