Step into your dream vacation at Kamaole Sands 6-303, located on the third floor in preferred Building 6! You will feel at home the minute you walk into this 1-bedroom 2-bath condo, which features a beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms. Granite counters and tile showers with fresh, luxurious towels and bedding, and an in-unit washer-dryer. Our kitchen is fully stocked with cookware or dine out - we are close to more than a dozen restaurants. New, chilling AC in the living room and bedroom for your comfort. King size bed in master bedroom plus queen sofa bed means 4 guests can be accommodated comfortably. Enjoy happy hour on the large lanai overlooking the 15-acre lush garden and pool area.

Directly across the street, Kamaole III Beach is one of the best family-friendly swimming beaches on the island. It has warm protected water, a wonderful snorkeling reef, and facilities. A peek-a-boo ocean view too and a short 4-minute walk to the beach to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, or watching the sunset. Pack a picnic and head to many other nearby beaches or take a day trip to Lahaina or Hana. Get ready to enjoy your stay!

Kamaole III Beach, just across the street, is a sun-worshiper's delight and its' sloping lawn is the perfect venue from which to take in Maui's legendary sunrises. “Kam III” is known for excellent snorkeling and clear, warm-water swimming, and for the sea turtles that often nibble its reef. The beach park has restroom and shower facilities, and adjoins the South Maui Beach Path, which meanders for miles along Kihei's coastline. Walk North to the sand of Kamaole I and II Beaches. Head South past the Kihei Boat Ramp to Keawakapu Beach, and all the way to the Wailea Beach Path. Standup paddle and kayak right across the street, and whale-watch in the winter, right off the shore.

This immaculate property, managed by Vacation-Maui, is complete with beach gear, including beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a small cooler. Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. If you have a late flight out, we recommend booking an extra night to accommodate your schedule. Mahalo for understanding.

Perfect!

This lovely condo was perfect for an easy stay near the beach. We loved the ameneties provided, very cleanly with simple layout, and the hosts left a guestbook with wonderful suggestions and recommendations. I personally enjoyed sitted on the outdoor patio with the partial beach view and pool/spa view. In the front of condo that balcony was perfect for sunsets, which were incredible. Overall very comfortable place to stay, as described, had beach equipment we could use. Easy internet access and air/fans. They even had an electric tea kettle and tea! All instructions were clear. Our honeymoon felt very cozy with this location being a nice midpoint to a lot of adventures and local places.

Fast repair response

The air conditioner in our room was extremely noisy. We also had a shower track that needed to be glued. I called for service and a handy man was there within the hour. He had to go to a hardware store to get a bushing for the air conditioner, and some very strong glue. It took less than two hours to fix. Great service!!!!!

Nice place to stay

The condo is clean and quite spacious. The kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. The property is very close to the beach, we got to enjoy the sunset everyday.

Not quite as advertised

We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness(dirty furniture, bugs in the kitchen) as well as the lack of basic items such as beach towels (only 4 beach towels provided), large beach bags (I purchased my own), and a big enough cooler for a family to pack for the beach. There were also very limited beach amenities. Only chairs and umbrellas. No boogie boards or beach toys for kids.

Great vacation!

couldnt ask for a better, location, excellent stay, the only grief I had was the no exceptions 4pm check in, especially when your flight arrives at 10AM, also they still required a credit card for "esentials" at check in even though youve already paid? didnt understand why they needed my credit card when they had nothing to do with my stay?

Great location, very comfortable

Overall, really enjoyed our stay. The condo was super comfortable and clean. The location is great. The construction going on in other buildings at the property had minimal impact - very little noise but there are construction vehicles and materials throughout the parking lot. The unit has several beach chairs and an umbrella. It would have been great for my kids if there was a boogie board and sand toys. We bought some sand toys though and were able to rent a boogy board from the pool area. Otherwise, the condo has everything you would want!

Was very impressed with the updated condo. Had two other family members staying in the same complex, and there condos were no where near the updated and “homey” feeling like this room had. Overall a great place with beautiful grounds and quick access to beaches and stores. Only thing I would change, is being able to check in or out later due to flights. At the end of the day, would still come back and stay at the same room.

Home away from home

Very clean and well appointed. Everything we could need was furnished and i definitely over packed. They supply beach towels and the washer and dryer were great for cleaning up wet suits from the day at the beach. The beach is about a minute walk and I believe it’s the nicest public beach in the area. Bed and linens were very comfortable and we all felt very safe walking the area. The only negatives would be that there is no air conditioning. It got very warm by the afternoon. We had to keep the patio doors open at night to cool it down and the street traffic was a little noisy. Also, the dishwasher was broke the entire time of our stay. Hopefully that will be fixed before their next renters arrive. We had a wonderful time and the front desk worker Lisa was so great and welcoming. I would certainly recommend staying here if you enjoying the beach and plan on spending most of your vacation at the water.

Great Condo and awesome vacation

This condo was simply amazing. The ocean view, lack of sun, and proximity to the pool were all great! Whether it was morning or afternoon we could be on the lanai at any time due to the shade and simply enjoy the environment . Would definitely book this condo again!

Fantastic location, great accommodation

The condo was perfect. We were very happy to have everything we needed for a day at the beach and all the necessities we could ever need in the kitchen and condo. We'll be back!

Peaceful time

The condo couldn’t have been better. It was well equipped from linens, to the kitchen, to furnishings. The location is wonderful. The beach is even closer than we thought! Sunsets are awesome and so are the views of the West Maui mountains.

Good for the price

Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. Useful beach equipment stocked as well. On the downside, we were often woke up very early by roosters and other very loud birds. We also had to leave the condo for an afternoon with less than 24 hours notice, so pesticide spraying could be done. Not sure it worked, as we found a large cockroach in the shower the next day. Overall not the best adventure but we do like adventures.

Nice clean unit in a great location in the complex

Great stay. Close to the best bbq areas, pool, and gym. The couch be a little more comfortable, but I know with pullouts it’s hard. Thanks for a great week!

Perfect for Relaxing vacation

The condo was clean, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. One bedroom unit but with kitchen supplies for a whole family! Large balcony patio with gorgeous view of pool and grounds as well as a partial ocean view. Location is great. Right across street from beach and close to stores and restaurants. Host was very communicative and helpful. May seem like a small thing, but I appreciated that the elevator was super fast and convenient. The propert feels like it is so well maintained. Thank you for a great week!

Clean, all you need for a great vacation

The check in and check out process are easy. The appartment was clean with a huge balcony for breakfasts. Washing machine, dryer, beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, cooler... It is really quiet. Walking distance from a beach where you can snorkel and restaurants. Near the best snokelings spots of the island.

Well stocked for a fun family vacation

We had everything we needed for a fun beach vacation in Maui plus lots of great tips on places to go and things to do. We appreciated the local books, beach supplies, games and kitchen pantry items. All of which made it feel like we were staying in a home (and not a hotel). The management company was super helpful in coordinating an important FedEx delivery. Mahalo

Ideal!

Thanks for a great stay in Maui! The location of this unit is ideal: central so you can easily explore the whole island, with west-facing beaches for a beautiful sunset. Extra touches that made our trip easy: 1) a little cooler and ice packs that we used to pack picnics for our site-seeing adventures 2) beach towels and a washer/dryer so we had more room in our suitcases. 3) The kitchen had what we needed for the week, including a vase for the beautiful flower bouquet I bought at the farmers market Thanks so much!

eine sehr schöne und große Unterkunft

s war eine sehr schöne und große Unterkunft. Die Küche war wunderbar ausgestattet und auch über das Strandequipment haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Ich habe viel in den Büchern über Maui gelesen, die im Wohnzimmer ausliegen. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Wir empfehlen allerdings den Makena Beach, weil dieser deutlich schöner ist. Einfach an der Straße parken, ansonsten muss man auf dem Parkplatz eine Gebühr bezahlen. Wir haben ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge: Die Sauberkeit war im Sichtbereich insgesamt sehr gut ABER auch hinter dem Bett und Nachtschrank muss sauber gemacht werden. Genauso die Lüftung im Badezimmer. Wir hatten jeden Tag viel Staub aus der Lüftung im Badezimmer liegen und wenn man hingeguckt hat, war sie auch sehr dreckig. Auf der Terrasse haben wir zwei Sessel verschoben. Dadrunter und dahinter war es ebenfalls sehr dreckig. Das ist nicht schön! Dieses Feedback haben wir gegeben und hoffen, dass es für den nächsten Gast erledigt wird. Es wäre schön eine Anleitung für die Waschmaschine zu haben. Wir sind Europäer und kennen diese Maschine nicht. Welche Temperatur bedeutet "warm" oder "hot"? Mit welchem Waschprogramm wäscht man am besten die Urlaubswäsche um nicjts falsch zu machen? Das mal als Beispiel. Wir haben am Ende das Cotton Programm auf warm eingestellt und einen Waschmittelpad unten in die Trommel reingelegt. Das hat gut funktioniert. Vielen Dank für den insgesamt schönen Aufenthalt!

Not bad but not amazing!

The location of this VRBO is great, central to everything in Kihei and very easy to get to Wailea, Lahaina, etc.! We liked it a lot, but the unit itself was just okay. Layout is good and there are plenty of utensils pots pans etc to use in the kitchen which was very helpful, but the advertisement mentioned staples and when we got there there was no coffee left and very little olive oil. We liked the overall style of the unit - the decor and whatnot was nice and simple. Our biggest complaint is that the unit wasn’t the cleanest… reviews said the floors didn’t leave your feet dirty and although that was true, other things were pretty grimy… both showers have a lot of black mildew (we wore flip flops in the shower) and we found lots of hairs random places, even in the freezer. Washer/dryer and dishwasher are also pretty old and clanky. So like I said - not bad but not amazing!!
