Property was very clean and comfortable. Beautifully located with Shanty creek running through the backyard. Convenient to the chain of lakes that are in the area. Grocery store within 4 miles if youâre cooking in. Very relaxing and beautiful.
My husband and I had a wonderful time during our long weekend stay at this condo. It was clean and very nicely appointed, with a great view of the woods and creek out back. This was actually my second stay here, which shows how much I enjoyed this rental property. I highly recommend it.
My family had a great time in this property! The location is convenient, and the area is very quiet and pleasant. Perfect getaway destination. The unit is very well maintained and the host Matt was very friendly and communicative. Highly recommended.
Mattâs place was very clean and comfortable for our annual stay in Bellaire. Condo is well appointed and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Matt communicated ahead of our arrival and was very responsive. We will stay here again!
The stay was very pleasant and logistics were straight forward. Check in was simple and the condo was exactly as described. Very clean and amongst a beautiful wooded setting with a creek running through the area behind the building. Would definitely go back.
We spent a week at Mattâs condo during our ski trip and enjoyed our stay tremendously! The condo is clean, cozy and well stocked. The host is very responsive. Overall, great stay! Thank you!
This place was perfect. It was very clean and there was a beautiful view into the woods off the back deck. I was skeptical to book because it is a new rental. The owner put my fears at ease. She was very responsive and helpful prior and during our visit. The place was very well stocked. We would love to stay here again!
We were in town to check out properties in the area and to see the fall colors. The condo was tidy and was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and all the linens were fresh. Check in and directions were very simple and quick to enter the condo. The deck/patio was a really relaxing with all the feels of fall and the creek water noise. It was nice sitting there in the morning and enjoying our cup of coffee. Thanks for a great weekend.
The property is exactly as shown. It was super clean and very quiet. The weather was a bit cool so we didnât get to use the pool but it looked really inviting. Access to the beach is just down the road.
Matt the owner was super to work with. We plan on another visit to Mattâs condo. Absolutely perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and everything you need (bring coffee though!), towels were fluffy and there were some trash bags, toilet paper, etc.. to get you through a weekend stay. We never used to pool or private beach access, but nice that they are included for guests nonetheless.
The location was great for visiting Torch Lake; highly recommend Luhrs Landing for boat rentals, we had an amazing experience through them! Downtown Bellaire was very cute as well.
No complaints!
Found most of dishes, silverware, and cups filthy. Had to wash them before we could use them. Took away from having fun on our stay. The puzzle was fun, put it together in two days.
Great condo. We have several family members staying close by so it was a perfect location for us. Loved the pool and beach club. Very clean and stocked with incidentals.
Lovely condo in the woods with second floor deck views of brook. Nearby golf and ski areas just outside Bellaire. You couldnât ask for a more peaceful vacation spot.
There were so many things we enjoyed about our stay, itâs hard not to give all 5-star reviews. However, in fairness to other properties weâve stayed at that truly were 5-star, it just didnât seem right. For starters, the layout and setting of the condo were great. We didnât know whether or not any of our kids might want to come and stay for a night or two, so having the separate bedroom and bath on the opposite side of the great room was perfect (even though nobody was able to join us). We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying Shanty Creek flowing through the trees behind the condo. The pool was conveniently close by to walk to, but the private beach was much more of a jaunt than weâd imagined from the property description; especially since itâs on the other side of M-88. We are walkers, so we [naively] put ourselves at risk walking over there ONCE. To be clear, itâs lovely once you get there, but for anyone with children the need to drive really should be emphasized. This is the first time weâve stayed at a VRBO property that didnât have a handbook to refer to for advice and guidance. Had the club pass not fallen out of the bag of tour pamphlets, we would not have known we needed it to access the beach. When it came time to check out, we had to go back to the property listing to find out what was required. When a couple of issues arose, Matt was very quick to respond; however we had to mutually agree to leave things as they were so as to not interfere with plans we already had in place. The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything we needed to eat most meals in, which was great; however, the appliances are quite dated, which was a huge contrast to the lovely new carpeting and nice furnishings. Again, overall we enjoyed our stay, Iâd have given an overall 4.5 if that had been possible.
