Most clean place I’ve stayed

The most clean place we’ve stayed, it was a great place to rent for a small to medium sized family! The owner was really nice and accommodating! Loved it!

Family Vacation

We stayed here in July of 2024. Cindy was a great host. She was very helpful and gave some great recommendations. The house was great and the pool and hot tub were so nice. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Great family retreat

The property is amazing. Everything you need for a great family vacation. More than enough space to be together or have some alone time. Every amenity you can think of and more. We are definitely staying here again when we are in Emerald Isle!!!

Home Away From Home!

Superb property. Clean, gorgeous kitchen, incredible wrap around porch. Dinners outside watching the ocean were memorable. Cindy is an extraordinary host; any questions I had were answered promptly. We hope to return and cannot recommend this home highly enough!

Easy beach access & great views!

The family, including our pet dog, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kitchen was well-stocked, new appliances were appreciated, and the Bluetooth speaker in the shower was a nice touch. Beach was very close for easy access, and not crowded at all. Rented bikes and rode down to the Point for scenic exercise. Porch view of the ocean with a cup of coffee was a daily routine.

Best family beach vacation

The house, pool and closeness to the beach were perfect. Provisions for all were great—thanks to Cindy. The four cousins played endlessly between the pool and beach. We rented bikes for everyone from Bryan, Cindy's recommendation for bike rental—great bikes delivered and picked up. We enjoyed many bike rides on the road near the house. We highly recommend this house.

House was very spacious allowing access with a wheelchair The well equipped kitchen was a plus The pool & hot tub were awesome providing some much needed relaxation The lift was a blessing especially for a family member in a wheelchair which is hard to find in most beach houses The beach was just a short walk with wooden access walkway leading to it Again very helpful for us. Family vacation

The house was amazing. Everything we needed was in the house, from the kitchen to beach supplies such as chairs, cabana, toys and boogie boards. My family loved the house, they said it was probably the best we stayed in so far and we’ve been coming to EI for at least 27 years. We rented a golf cart and could get to Emerald Plantation easily on the cart. The lift was a plus especially for unpacking and packing up the vehicles. In-laws appreciated it too. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Short walk to the beach. Cindy was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

This house is amazing!

We have been visiting Emerald Island for many years and this was the best house we have rented . The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and very clean . The house is equipped with everything you need and more. The owners Cindy and Mike are warm and welcoming . They go out of their way to make sure you really relax and enjoy their home.

Perfect Getaway

This is a beautiful house with everything you need. The lift was an added bonus and made loading and unloading luggage and groceries so much easier. The hot tub was nice at the end of a long day on the beach. The beach access is just a short walk away. Plenty of room for our family. We will definitely be back! Host was very responsive and answered all my many questions :)

Everything we expected and more, great views, and cool layout

We so loved our stay. We wished the weather would have been better but we made the best of it by going to the aquarium, Beaufort, shopping and lots of walks. So clean, which is extremely important to me and a well stocked kitchen. The layout is great and the house looks brand new. There is a nice shower outside and a bathroom that we did not discover until the last day. We’d love to return in the fall.

Very impressive cottage

We have stayed in numerous cottages over the last 30 years. We need a pet friendly cottage because we have two dogs. We have found that the problem with “pet friendly”cottages is that they feel like pet friendly cottages. That may not make sense to some people but I want to stay in a pet friendly cottage that doesn’t look or smell like one. This cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything from A to Z was top notch. These people put a lot of money into appliances; from front loaders to a huge stainless steel refrigerator, to double ovens. Bathrooms looked clean and felt clean. Beach access was within walking distance, very reasonable. We have 9 in our family; 3 are children. Our stay was nice and comfortable in every way.

Emerald Isle Excellence!

We had a great week at New Dreams! The home is beautifully updated and appointed with families in mind, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything. It is clear that Cindy and Mike have lovingly invested in this home and are proud to share it with others. The beach is a stone's throw away with great ocean views. The outdoor shower was incredible with hot/cold water, great water pressure, and good drainage. Our kids LOVED the bunk bed, boogie boards, puzzles, and supervised rides on the outdoor elevator. The house was plenty big for our group of six and we could easily have had 5 more people in our group. It was just right for our family! Our only concern was related to the use of the downstairs apartment by a different group for our last night. When we communicated our concern, Cindy was understanding of the impact that the issue has on us and quickly resolved the issue to our liking. I do not anticipate this being a problem going forward and would highly recommend this property.

The wrap around deck and views are amazing! Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. The house is great, especially the wrap-around deck. The views and proximity to the beach are wonderful. The elevator makes loading and unloading very easy. We were grateful to have a nice, clean, comfortable, place to relax, and enjoy the family including our dog. A little piece of heaven for a week.
