Historic buildings and new hip retailers combine charm and lifestyle options, to the benefit of locals. This highly walkable area is a favorite of college students studying nearby and those who prefer to commute on foot to the Back Bay. Service on the E line connects you to Longwood hospitals, Downtown and East Cambridge without transfers.
