The Beautiful Bear’s Den! Walk to Old Town & CSU!

The Bear’s Dean is a beautiful light-filled space with warm wood accents and a cozy cabin-like interior, less than 1 mile from both CSU and the Old Town Square in Fort Collins. The rental features all newer furnishings with a cozy lodge feel, a plush king-sized bed and a great patio for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. You will love the location, quiet neighborhood, and tree-lined streets. Just imagine exploring Fort Collins easily on foot or bike, enjoying local food and music, and then relaxing in our beautifully remodeled home!

Come relax and enjoy the best of Fort Collins right out your front door! From the Bear’s Den, you can easily walk to restaurants, nightlife, shopping and yoga or head to the Farmers Market and pick up some local produce. You can also grab our cruiser bikes to ride along the Poudre River Trail or embark on a self-guided brewery tour. In the evening, we invite you to visit nearby restaurants such as Nick’s Italian and The Colorado Room to enjoy some local eats. Then head home and enjoy the games and books provided that give this home a charm that reminds you of a local lodge!

This home features:
Bedroom 1: King Bed | Plus Queen Sleeper Sofa | Sleeps 4

OUTDOOR LIVING: Side courtyard with string lights, gas grill, fire pit, and two complimentary cruiser bikes that are available May 1st - November 1st

INDOOR LIVING: 50” flat-screen Roku TV with Xfinity cable app, dining table with seating for 4, board games, books, ceiling fans

KITCHEN: Large kitchenette with full-sized stainless-steel refrigerator and dishwasher; microwave, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, complimentary coffee, creamer, tea and sweetener. Please note that there is not a stove/oven.

BATHROOM: Ÿ bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer, linens/towels, iron/ironing board. We even include local favorites for every guest stay including soaps, shampoo, and conditioner.

GENERAL: Free WiFi, stacked washer/dryer, keyless entry, central heating and air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, cleaning essentials.

PARKING: One dedicated parking spot off of the alley

Great place to stay in the Fort Collins area. We thought ‘Stacey and the entire experience were great. The only drawback for us was how firm the mattress was for our liking. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Fun in FoCo

We loved our stay! The rental was cozy and clean and perfect for hosting meals with our son using the gas grill, electric skillet and full size frig. The location was great with quick access to Old Town and Colorado State. The hosts were so responsive and friendly. Thank you!!

Private Relaxation

This "bear's den" is a wonderful, private space made for relaxation. Host Stacy has ensured this carriage house is fully outfitted with everything you could need for a comfortable stay of any duration. There is plenty of room to spread out and feel at home.. so much better than a hotel room! We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit FoCo.

Perfect Place!

This is a spacious 1 bedroom unit so conveniently located to the heart of FoCo. Check in was a snap. Even with high outside temperatures, the AC kept the unit cool. Very comfortable to relax there with all the amenities you might need. It is definitely a place we will return to.

short Foco stay to see son at CSU

Second time I have stayed here. Plan to return again in the summer. It is light and bright and very comfortable. Management very responsive with any issues, mine was very minor. Great location to campus. Private and quiet. Can't can enough good things.

Great location

We had a nice stay - the apartment was clean, bright and functional. It was a quiet and convenient neighborhood. Stacy the manager was very helpful. And Tracy and Lynn, the owners, were very nice to chat with. Our one challenge was that the property had nowhere to securely store our bikes - so we had to carry them up a narrow flight of stairs and keep them in the living room.

Great stay!

This property was perfect for a small family. It's only one king bed but it's very large so our son was able to sleep with us. The bed was super comfortable. Every detail was thought of, down to good working bikes! The location was great. I already knew there was no stove based on other reviews but there were BBQ utensils and a good propane barbeque so we used that. My main concern is always cleanliness and it was spotless! We will stay again for sure.

Bright, comfy, and well equipped

This carriage house apartment was perfect for my wife and me. With plenty of windows and vaulted ceilings, we found it to be bright and airy, comfortably appointed, private, and nicely equipped. We had good communication from the property manager (email and text messages) before, during, and after our stay, and we had no issues while we were there. Be prepared to climb a flight of stairs to access the living space, but this is a superb alternative to a hotel room.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will likely stay there again. A little difficult to get to. The property is a carriage house accessed from an alley. We also had 2 cars and there is only parking for one. Had to park on the main street which is 2 hours only. Fortunately didn't get a ticket.

A Gem

We were really happy with our stay at this property. It is exactly as advertised . It is nicely furnished and extremely clean. The kitchenette had all the items we needed, coffee pot, toaster, microwave and fridge. We were in Ft. Collins to specifically visit the CSU campus. This property was in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy walkable access to CSU. The property is also very close to the downtown area as well. Many great restaurants, coffee shops, and more within a few minute drive. Property manager was very accessible and helpful. Met the homeowner too - very nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Super cute, had some issues with air conditioner not cooling and wall heater staying on in bathroom and the lack of some basics in kitchen but the management company was very responsive and by the third day, all issues were resolved (I'm not a complainer, so I didn't let them know until day 3...my fault). One more thing, the smoothie maker wasn't working so on the last day I had prepared the contents for our healthy smoothies, but had to throw everything out..) We would stay her again, though. Very cute. I would rearrange the furniture, though so the most comfortable two-seater chair is facing the tv.

Great spot to downtown FoCo!

My husband and I were in town for a friend‘s wedding. We loved staying at this location, close to downtown, shops, restaurants, breweries. The apartment was very clean and well appointed and the check-in process was super easy!

Great stay at Bear's Den

Bear's Den was the perfect spot for us! It is a short walk to campus and Old Town. The accommodations were perfect; very clean and comfortable and just the right layout for the two of us. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and, once you figure out the parking, very easy to access.We look forward to staying here again when we visit family in the area.

Wonderful Stay

We loved our time here. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet, while still very close to Old Town. We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting Fort Collins.
