This property has an amazing view. sits right on the water over looking the boats. Would stay again. brand new adirondack chairs by water which is a nice touch. outdoor blackstone to use.
Stephanie was wonderful and very welcoming to our little family. The property was easily accessible to Burlington-15 min drive to everywhere, maximum. Easy access to the Causeway and great nearby food. The road next to the property is busy, but you don't notice it. Loved waking up everyday to the stellar view and cozy atmosphere.
Very cute and clean stay outside of downtown Burlington. The beds were both very comfortable, and we appreciated the provided amenities. It was a quick 10-15 minute drive to downtown Burlington and 40th minutes to Waterbury (Ben and Jerryâs). I would stay here again and hope to bring my pup next time!
We absolutely loved this spot! It was super cute and perfect for a getaway. Stephanie was great and everything was smooth as silk from start to finish. We will definitely be back.
Great cottage/lakehouse. Very clean, well stocked. Stephanie was wonderful and extremely responsive to all our needs. Great property if you have a boat. Highly recommend !
View was amazing and Stephanie was great at providing suggestions for things to do. Another chair to two in the main living space would he an improvement.
Lovely view, wonderfully appointed house. Itâs very close to the road which wouldnât have been a problem but the night construction was bright and loud. Earplugs and using the basement bedroom helped a lot ! I would not hesitate to rent this lovely home again. I will though check to make sure no construction is scheduled. Iâm sure it was a one time thing.
This was our second stay at this property. First-time, it was covered in snow and ice and we loved it. This time it was summer and loved it again. My wife and I came up from Pensacola, FL to work on our daughters nearby house and just donât think we could find a finer place to stay. Very well equipped, great views, comfortable, and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Our next trip will most likely be based again on the availability of this property.
A beautiful setting on the lake. This cottage is located to many hiking and interesting places to visit. We were able to easily travel to a variety of hiking spots and lakes. Essex spa is close enough, as is the beautiful town of Burlington. We were able to take a ferry to NY Lake Placid too. I would defintly recommend this property. Our group was some friends from high school that reunited in our 60s. We stayed here 10 days.
Weâll appointed small house. Kitchen was well equipped, everything in working order.
Wonderful views of bay from living room and 1st floor bedroom.
Did some star gazing from small outside sitting area.
Close to downtown Burlington and nearby vineyards.
Very comfortable, ammenties are just right. Thank you.
Great stay close to the bike trail across the causeway and bike ferry. This is a beautiful ride water on both sides some wild wind. The cottage was beautiful, clean and tight on the water. It had a wonderful view of the mountains and sailboats. My 93 year old mom enjoyed the house. It was spotless with comfortable beds. It is on a busy road so if your a light sleeper pick the very quiet room downstairs. It was nice to have kyaks available.
Cozy, comfy, with everything a traveler could want, located right on the shoreline of a small marina. I especially appreciated how absolutely immaculate the entire cottage is. There are two bedrooms - we stayed downstairs because it's bigger with a lovely view. A note for mobility issues - the curving stairs down are pretty steep, so the main floor/upstairs bedroom would be the better room. Stephanie was very welcoming, kind, and responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Harbor View Lakehouse. The house is exactly as pictured, and the view is fantastic! We were greeted by a lovely tray of snacks and wine, and a gorgeous bouquet of stargazer lilies. Stephanie even provided water bowls and dog treats for our son's dog who came to visit us (with her permission.) The kitchen was perfect for cooking, and the beds were comfortable with cozy bedding. There was a bit of road noise in the upper bedroom, but we adapted quickly. We hope to stay here again when we return!
This place is truly a gem. The view of the bay from the main living area is stunning and there is plenty of room for 4 people even though it was just 2 of us. The place was very clean and comfortable and Stephanie, the owner, provided an array of snacks, wine, coffee, and wine. What a huge treat! She was also helpful from the very start with restaurant ideas. Make sure to read the guest book if you stay there. It has other ideas of things to do and places to eat from previous guests. Donât miss this great property
We had 4 adults in the house and we all fit vey well. The house was immaculate and everything was in very good shape. There is a full kitchen with the right mix of pans and cooking gear. There is a bathroom upstairs and down stairs. The views are amazing and if you like a sunrise over water, pick the downstairs bedroom. It was gorgeous all three days. The house is about 8-10 minutes from Burlington and the immediate neighborhood has plenty of shops and groceries. Communication with Stephanie, the host, was quick and easy. I would definitely come back.
Weve stayed in this area for years, but this is our first time at this property. The house was as advertised and very clean and well appointed. With a bedroom and bathroom on each level it really nade the most of this snaller home, as we each had our own spaces. The kitchen quite literally had everything, we def overpacked because you never know, but i couldnt think if a thing missing. The house is very close to the road so i dud feel uneasy at times with my dog, and their def is noise, but nothing too bad. The outer grounds are also nice with kayaks and paddle boards to use. If i had some requests it would be to add outdoor seating or adirondack chairs as there wasnt anywhere to be comfortable and read. Id also have prefered tvs in the bedrooms and at least an extra chair or additinal seating in the living room. But thats just wish list stuff. Everythibg was great as is. And the wifi let me use my ipad as a tv when laying down. I definitely recommend this place if you are a single, couple, or two friends. Its small, but just the right size, cozy and well decorated and clean. Our dogs had a blast and its close to markets, stores, ice cream, bike paths, burlington winooski and geabde isle.
My husband and I are native Vermonters. We have owned a Dock Service Company for 12 years. While he is out working on the water, I take care of the office work, yardwork, tenants, Airbnb, and dog walking! You'll probably see me walking by with our dog/pony Ruger!
We purchased this property from a dear friend who owned it for 30+ years. An older man who was retiring from the Dock business and ready to give us the opportunity to expand and to love these buildings and marina up!
