Having never been to Tuscon we believe we found the ideal location for all activities. The house sits up on a knoll with the best views out front facing the city and the backyard views the Catilina Mts. The kitchen has everything you'll need. Scott gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants, nearby grocery stores, and not to be missed places to see. There are 3 bedrooms/baths, wonderful living room, great backyard patio area and what we called our coffee nook out front to begin the day. The location is truly the best - 40 minutes or less to practically any place you'd want to see or hike. Definitely a property to return to! Thank you Scott.
Wonderful location and property - great view of the Catalinas. Great neighborhood too, especially for walking. Definitely the best of all the locations that we've stayed in Tucson. We had everything we needed. Scott was an excellent host and answered any questions we had promptly. We're looking forward to staying there again!
This is a great house and property. Spacious and very nicely designed, furnished and equipped, exceeding the high expectations we had from the listing. We're only a family of three adults, but the house could easily accommodate a large family, with everyone still having good room to spread out. The mountain and city views are exceptional, the back patio area is a great extension for outdoor eating and relaxing, and the location is perfect for easy access and exploring. We'd gladly stay again in a heart beat. The owners are very helpful and responsive in providing information about the property. Hands down, a great holiday stay!
My permanent residency is in New England. I am 59 years old, married with one daughter. I attended the University of Arizona from 1979-1982. I have been going back to Tucson ever since I attended the University. I had the good fortune to purchase this property 12 years ago and completely redid it. My wife and I use it as our "winter getaway" from New England and hope to try and spend 6 months in Arizona.
This is a great house, in a great location! It is close to the University of Arizona along with many of the places that I attended when I was in school. I like this property because it is a big lot on a knoll with great views of the mountains and views of the whole city. I love the stucco exterior and the arched entry ways. The property is located in between the hiking trails of Pima Canyon and Finger Rock. In a 5 minute drive you can be hiking up either one of these trails. The foothills district that the property is apart of has covenant against short term rentals. With that being said, I am only interested in a month or more rental of my Tucson home.
