Great place for a Wonderful Northern Wisconsin get away!!
Quite rural living with the comforts of home. This property features just completely renovated 2 bedroom house, with a large yard and driveway just outside Iron River Wisconsin. Very close to town and The Tri County Corridor. Less than 15 minutes from the World Famous Brule River and the Greatest of Great Lakes, Superior!! Explore all that Bayfield County and Northern Wisconsin have to offer. Keyless entry, WIFI, Dish network, extremely comfortable Memory Foam King and Single beds and plenty of room to park and turn around if you bring your boat or ATV.
It was the perfect place for the price and comfort ability after a day of hunting. Its location was only 8 miles from family and friends. We will be back!
It was a clean cozy space. The beds were comfy, many things were provided. A/C and fans were NOT enough to cool, but we survived. A little care would make this so much nicer: groom the yard/ weed/ water so we could use the firepit, get comfy seating in the living room, and pest control the perimeter so mosquitoes and spiders didnt get in the bathroom window. It has potential to be so much more. But! We slept well and it was clean and a great location. We would stay again!
Based upon other short-term rentals, this was below average on several measures. Also informed the host that they had a black ant infestation that presented ants on the table, counter tops, floor and us. They indicated that they were aware of the problem but did not indicate any defined actions would occur. The host responded that they 'apologize for the inconvenience'.
Well kept clean 2 bedroom house. On the edge of Iron River set back just enough from the road to be very quiet. Wonderful king bed, very comfy. Kitchen supplied with more than expected, especially spices. Very much enjoyed our stay, will choose again
Nice location and very clean place with all the amenities. We will have no problems with booking this house again when we have the chance to get back to Iron River.
This property is very well maintained! Super nice and clean! It went well past my expectations!!! My group came up to hunt and could not have been more pleased!! Thank you for a great experience!!!!!!
I went to northern Wisconsin for a small vacation as a treat to myself for finishing nursing school. As far as being quiet, comfortable, and relaxing accommodations, the Wade Inn fully delivered. My nights were fully transquil, and for the touristy parts of my days, I was in the vicinity of lots of cute places like the Twin Ports, Amnicon Falls, and so on. I highly recommend checking this one out.
This was a very clean property inside. Most things you need were included. They provided a high chair and pac n play which was nice. Only complaint is we didnât know someone else would be staying on the property. They were in a separate house but itâs right next to this one. I wish I wouldâve known before booking because we wanted something very private. They left us alone but it was still unexpected to have someone else there. Overall good stay for a small family and short stay.
Clean and well-appointed house. Great location, just north of town and easy drive to Washburn / Bayfield area, Port Wing / Cornucopia area, Brule River and Superior / Duluth area. Newly renovated.
This property was purchased by my parents in 1973, and I bought it from them in 1997. We have rented the two houses since then and now are starting to do vacation rental. We have about 8 years in offering a five star vacation experience at another location and really enjoy providing great locations to rest, relax and explore on your vacation.
The New Wade Inn Iron River is close to town for groceries, shopping and restaurants. and if you head north on Hwy A you can see Lake Superior in 10 to 15 minutes and buy some fresh Trout in Port Wing or Cornucopia. The towns of Herbster, Cornucopia and Bayfield can also be explored along the south shore and Chequamegon Bay on a nice drive. The Brule River State Forest is only 10 minutes west of Iron River on Hwy 2 and Delta Diner about the same Straight south on Hwy H. Bayfield county has Chequamegon National Forest and many historical museums.
This property has a very large driveway to turn around most rigs without having to back up. The kitchen faces east so you can enjoy beautiful sunrises while eating breakfast or having a cup of coffee. The setting sun and the trees on the west side of the property shade the evenings and darkens the bedrooms if you want to turn in early.
