We’re newlyweds who have been happily hosting guests at this apartment for over five years. We love living in South Florida and enjoy spending our free time at the beach, trying new restaurants, and exploring everything Fort Lauderdale has to offer. I work in healthcare, and María is a professionally trained chef—so we’re always happy to share local dining tips (and maybe even a recipe or two!). We live in a completely separate unit at the back of the property and are always nearby if you need anything during your stay.

We chose to settle in this neighborhood because it truly offers the best of both worlds—it’s just minutes from Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful beaches, but still has that relaxed, local charm that makes you feel at home. Oakland Park is one of the fastest-growing areas in the city, full of personality, creativity, and small businesses that give it a unique vibe.

It’s also incredibly walkable, with breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and vintage stores right around the corner. Being so close to Wilton Manors, downtown Fort Lauderdale, and Las Olas Boulevard means we never have to go far to enjoy great food, nightlife, or a day on the sand. We love it here, and we think you will too.
