Vintage cozy cabin in Tahoma overlooking Sugar Pine Point Park
Dukkehus is a cozy vintage cabin located in Tahoma, a lovely subdivision overlooking Sugar Pine Point State Park. 15 minute walk through the woods to the beach. Hiking and biking trails right outside the cabin. Private and tranquil space, perfect for a small family or two couples seeking summer fun on the Lake or winter snow play at nearby Homewood Mountain Resort. Relax on the deck, enjoy the view of the forest, no road separates the lot from the State Park. Cosy interior, comfortable beds, smart TV with Hulu, Netflix, Marshall Bluetooth speaker, plenty of games and books, well stocked kitchen.
Compact and very comfortable cabin in a very quiet area. The view from the front porch shown in the photo is a great place at all times of the day to sit and look into the forest. Its in a shady spot. The bed was very comfortable. Its very close to Sugar Pine point park and very easy access to other West Shore areas. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to return.
This is the third time we stayed at this property. We love it. Everything we need is here here and it's so cozy and comfortable and the location can't be beat.
This property was so cute and cozy. The cabin had everything we needed to have a great time in the Tahoe area. The location was super close to eateries and the market, which had everything we needed for family breakfasts. I would absolutely recommend it to any and everyone looking to stay in the region.
We love this little cabin and itâs location. You can walk to the beach, nature center, hiking trails, a playground and a market/restaurants. It is perfect for our family with two toddlers (we brought a wagon and kid carrier backpack to keep the weekend driving free!). The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with nice supplies. The ability to make Nespresso cappuccinos was a fun bonus since our kids are up with the sun!
This is the second time we have stayed at Lisa's cabin. The location right on the edge of Sugar Pine Point campground is beautiful. You can gaze at the pine trees from the deck every morning with your Nespresso coffee. The beds are comfortable, the cabin is so clean, the location is very quiet. I could spend hours reading the books in the bookshelf. Within walking distance there is a coffee and gelato place. I highly recommend staying here if my description sounds good to you.
Nice little cabin in a great location. The accomodations are fully stocked, but note there is no laundry or dishwasher. The space can be a little tight and funky with the front door opening into a bedroom, and the only shower being in the 2nd bedroom. The nice big deck off the living room looking out into the forest is great. Overall if you need a space to sleep, eat, and chill after a day out in Tahoe this works well.
We had a great time! The cabin is super cute, very clean, and has everything you need. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with an amazing view of the state park. Lisa was friendly and accommodating. We hope to rent this cabin in the future.
