This is a beautiful property. No joke about the bears, they came right into driveway and yard every evening. It was very neat to see them. Wifi doesn’t work well. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a fantastic time. The house and pool are as pretty as the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals for a crowd. The beds are very comfortable! The pool area provided hours of fun for kids and adults. We took advantage of being within 25 minutes of downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. Super house and location!

Cool Stream Lodge was outstanding and exceeded our expectations, which were fairly high. The house and guest house are both well equipped and maintained, with furniture and accessories that are among the nicest we've seen in a rental property. The hosts clearly have a high attention to detail. The pool and outdoor area were fantastic and the setting itself is beautiful. One thing that's great for large groups is that all the bedrooms are not only very nice with comfortable beds, they all have their own bathroom. I would highly recommend Cool Stream Lodge.

This property was in excellent condition! One of the nicest, well stocked homes we’ve stayed in. Only a couple of things that would have made our stay better:- the pond was not as advertised. We were notified of this a couple of days prior to our arrival, but were still disappointed that it was not available for fishing.- it would have been nice if the property had a fire pit.Overall, the property met the needs of our large group & we had a very nice time.

Our family of 14 (9 adults and 5 children) enjoyed our week at this house. The kitchen was well equipped and the number of bedroom/bathrooms was good. Pool area is glorious and everyone had a great time swimming. There are three separate living rooms which made it easy for family to spread out. We saw a number of black bears on the property which gave us pause for the family walking between the main house and cottage but we made everyone walk in pairs, especially the kids and we had no encounters. We would definitely go back again.

I love the fact that most of the rooms have their own bathrooms! Even though the reception wasn’t the greatest it was nice bonding with the family! Would definitely recommend! Not to mention we enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Great stay with great friends

We loved our stay at Cool Stream! Great place to host with my group of friends. Only regret is the pool wasn’t open (apparently it’s only open from Memorial Day - Labor Day).

Relaxation at its best

I took youth on an end of year field trip. The cabin was awesome! I would love to come back with family/friends at some point so I can truly enjoy the relaxing piece the property has to offer.

This house did not disappoint! There were a total of 11 of us and our small dog and this house had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was generously stocked with everything you would need to serve a meal to a large family. The house was even more beautiful than depicted in pictures and we would 10/10 recommend! It was quiet and private and we completely enjoyed our time there!

Family Vacation

Cool Stream Lodge is a beautiful property!! Well suited for large families (there were 13 of us!). The pictures don’t do it justice! Even more impressive in person!! The pool screams resort!! Everyone loved it!! Convenient to town and provides total privacy!

Amazing Stay

We take an annual family vacation (three generations), usually to the beach but we decided to do something different this year. We are so glad we did. Cool Stream Lodge was perfect! Great house, great property, great location. We couldn’t be more pleased with our week away. Easy to book, great communication prior to and during our stay, and a property true to the listing. Beautiful Property made for Excellent Stay.

I stayed at this property with about 10 friends to celebrate a long weekend. The property is beautiful and looks just like it is advertised on the website. It was clean and everything was in working order. It is a bit of drive from downtown but we selected it for this so we had some privacy and to enjoy the nature. We all loved the stay and I would recommend this for any large group looking for an upscale rental experience.

Amazing (just one problem…)

This place is amazing. Unfortunately there was no propane in the back and therefore no grill and no pool or hot tub heat, which for a summer vacation…was a real bummer.
