The Cozy Bear Retreat lived up to its name. We thoroughly enjoyed the living space (fireplace and tv came in handy when 3” of rain fell in Big Bear during our stay. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, a clean hot tub and a fully equipped kitchen all combined to make our stay in the Cozy Bear one that we will long remember. Thank you to all behind the scenes people who made this happen.

Lovely stay right next to the village!

I had a wonderful stay at Cozy Bear Retreat! The house was adorable and they had a welcome basket waiting for us when we walked in which was a great touch. It’s super convenient and nearby everything we wanted to do. Definitely reccomend!

I recently stayed at a cozy cabin in Big Bear, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities we needed for a perfect getaway. Nestled in a serene, wooded area, the views from the deck were breathtaking, offering a peaceful escape with stunning mountain scenery. The cozy fireplace and comfy beds made our evenings super relaxing, and the fully equipped kitchen was a joy to cook in. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing local tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you're hitting the slopes or just seeking a tranquil retreat, this cabin is a gem. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend!

Cozy little place

Highly recommend this cozy little home. It was clean and updated with a fun back yard. We sat at the fire pit. We went in the hot tub. We grilled some rib eyes. It was a wonderful stay.

This Cozy Bear Retreat is an absolute gem for a small family getaway! We spent a few fantastic days here and loved every minute. It truly had everything we needed, making excellent use of space.The kitchen was a dream, fully stocked with all the essentials – from silverware to tools, it made cooking a breeze. The living room was perfect for unwinding, featuring a big TV with app access and a great selection of board games for family fun.Bedrooms were super comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the bathroom was thoughtfully equipped with towels, shampoo, and more.But the real highlight was the backyard! We absolutely loved taking advantage of the bubbling hot tub and making s'mores around the cozy fire pit. It was pure magic under the stars.We're already planning our next trip back to this wonderful spot. Highly recommend for comfort, convenience, and a truly memorable Big Bear experience!

Great experience. The place seemed like it was our own. Came ready to play in. Only 2 grievances: the ppl manning desk at check in spot were cranky; the oven wasn’t strong enough to bake a pizza. Otherwise 5 stars.

Wonderful!

We had the best time here! House was so cute, cozy, and super clean! Beds were sooo comfortable and sheets, pillows, and duvet was so plush and soft, was definitely upscale hotel quality! House had everything we needed, fully stocked with all you can ask for in a rental! The backyard was so cute with a lit Christmas tree and hot tub. Although we did not use the hot tub as it was snowing most of our stay and too cold to be outside. But was so nice to look outside and see the cute decorated tree that sparkled blue lights! All the smart tvs in each room worked great with no issues with internet. The fireplace was so cute and super easy to light as we have a similar gas one at home. The bathroom was super clean, cute, and remodeled. The best thing about the place was the island in the kitchen where we enjoyed sitting around for breakfast and coffee! Location was so convenient super close to the Village, all the restaurants, and a short drive to Snow Summit where we enjoyed most of the day. If the owners ever decide to sell the place, I’d want to buy it as it is perfect for a cute little vacation home! We will definitely stay here again and will book again for end of February next month!
