Our family vacation this year was a blast! The location was fantastic. The beach was not crowded and the location of the house was not crowded either. Definitely wound recommend to others.

Great Christmas Vacay

Great spot for sunrise & sunset. On our first day we had a stingray experience. The home was comfortable and everyone enjoyed their stay.

Mini vacation

The property was in a perfect location for us. It was away from all the high rises and crowds…just the way we like it! The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our long weekend very much!

Family vacation June 2022

Location was excellent for our family! The back porch was our favorite place to sit and look at the beach. Cleaning could have been better,we found candy and chip bags under the beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Yearly vacation spot

We had a terrific time, enjoyed our stay. House is located on the beach. Just a few steps and you're on the beach. Driveway needs opened up for better parking, house sleeps 10 but parking for 2 vehicles, need room for 4, just a thought. Overall, its a great place to stay!

We had 8 of us. 4 adults and 4 kids 2 boys 2 girls. There was plenty of room for the group. Walking off the back deck to the beach was so amazing. The layout was super nice and private enough for all involved. We look forward to another stay there next year.

Hanging out was amazing

We had a great time staying at this property. It is in a great location, steps away from the beach, central to everything, and overall a great set up for us. Our mother was handicapped and we were able to keep her on the ground floor which was helpful. The rest of the family was able to comfortably use the upstairs. other than a problem with the fridge which was resolved quickly we had no real issues.

Perfect veiws !!! Great property!!!

The property was as described, great veiws of the beach in the perfect spot for sight seeing. There were a few problems in the property upon arrival one of the full beds was broken and one outside deck chair was old and rotted and the outside trash can was full. Other than those faults I have no complaints about the property or communication with the prpoerty managers. Loved the property and I highly recommend.

Needs many updates!

The bedding in this rental is terrible and needs updating. The kitchen is not well stocked. The unit feels unsafe with flip bolting locks next to glass doors. The amount of junk in closets needs to be cleaned out as well.

Perfect location

Perfect location, but neighbors were vaping & smoking which we could smell & could hear their foul conversations. They also had 2 dogs that barked. The inside was nice but one bedroom did not have a tv. The internet connection only worked half of a day during our 5 night stay. I needed the internet to anssist coworkers so this was frustrating. The lights flickered on the first floor. One bed had broken from previous tenants & they left the mattress out front our entire stay. Easy access to beach which was beautiful.

I rated 3 stars because of the pocket doors to the bathrooms that were off the track. We couldn't close the door to the downstairs bathroom , so we had no privacy using the toilet.We had to go upstairs to use the bathroom. It was the same for one of the bathrooms upstairs.My Grandson managed to get the door closed though so we could use it by entering it through hallway. I feel like they knew ahead of time the doors weren't working and should have had them repaired. Other than that everything was fine.

Would Stay Again Knowing The Property Issues

The internet did not work half of the trip. And customer delayed resolving it by having me perform the same steps over and over. So if you’re working during the trip, beware. Also, communication for checking was sketchy. Also, some of the boards on top deck are loose. Be careful. Overall, I’m a germaphobe and the house was clean and in good shape so that’s saying a lot. I didn’t have to clean. So the house was great. The management company, needs a little work.

Penny Wise & Pound Foolish.....not a happy camper.

This was my WORST VRBO / Real Joy Vacation experience. Why I commented 'Penny Wise & Pound Foolish'...they have cut corners every possible way. They should be looking at traveller experience. Below are some of the issues we had...we were a group of 7 staying at the property for 8 days ..paying top dollars..that is north of 6.5 K For that price here is the pound foolishness with property and RealJoy Vacations.. 1. Kitchen Sink started leaking as soon as we started using 2. Major leaking from washer dryer 3. Sofa in the main room was torn 4. Not enough toiletries evenfor one time use 5. Did not even have dishwashing liquid... When I called them about the washer / Dryer not working their answer was take it to Public laundry, we will refund you.. Here is my issue....I am there for a vacation and wind down, but every day I have to call them for one or the other items... In a nutshell the house was not ready for us....and they cut corners every way possible..I have stayed at other VRBo locations and almost all of my ratings are 5 star ...this was a bad experience ...will never stay at a property managed by RealJoy ( Seriously ...that took all the real Joy from my vacation !!!! ) vacations...

Please accept our sincerest apology for any frustration or disappointment experienced. Our notes show that maintenance was sent to address the sink issue. Unfortunately, the washer was not able to be fixed during your stay because a part needed to be ordered and delivered. Our laundry service was offered. As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping provides a limited amount (starters) of such supplies as toilet paper, trash bags, dish detergent, and paper towels. If these items were not provided at all, we would have been more than happy to have some delivered. Guests must provide any additional supplies needed for/during their stay. The price of a rental depends on such aspects as location and time of the year. We will forward your comments to property managers so that they may provide any suggestions to the owner of this property. It would be their decision to replace such items as the couch, washer, or dryer. Thank you for choosing RealJoy.

This townhome was as advertised. We had a amazing stay and this part of the beach was great and fantastic accessibility! If there is anything negative i would replace the side tables on patio that are deteriorating and small grill for the size house. But is not enough from me coming back! House gets an A!

This house suited our group of friends perfectly. Plenty of room for 9 of us, and the property was well accommodated with a beautiful view of the ocean. The lower and upper decks were the best part. Would recommend this property to anyone.

This property was awesome! Right on the beach with great beach access. Property was very clean on the inside and lots of room and space for a family with kids. Close to everything too. House need to be renovated complete.

The only good thing in the house is the view and location next to the beach , first bedroom bed are super uncomfortable, and for kids is not safety house also they lock the air conditioner in 68 degrees some times we need to open door and use the ventilator.The kitchen has everything súper old and smells super bad, the place was clean but also the sofas are old . Not recommend , The second day we call office Because the Hot water was not working they send a guy but never fit the issue the house has 3 bathrooms but hot water was working only in one .Overall not a good experience for me and my family .

Just okay

We loved the location of the house and the quick access to the beach. The house itself needs a lot of work. The deck had nails coming out in places that could have cut our feet if we didn’t wear shoes constantly. A lot of the deck furniture was falling apart. The bathroom downstairs leaked from the toilet and faucet. The furniture had seen better days and kitchen cookware has not been replaced in some time. We still had a good time, but would not stay here again.

Great Beach house

This was our first experience staying in a beach house instead of a condo or resort. It Did NOT disappoint. It was such a joy for us having the beach in the back yard. They provided everything we needed and it was clean upon arrival. We had plenty of room for the 9 of us. The only critique we would provide would be for the owner to install some blackout curtains for the windows. The light prevented us from sleeping in past 8am. We were in EST so this was normally 7AM for us, which is pretty early for us. This was literally the only negative thing we could say. If we go back to panama, this would be where we would stay. 5 Stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Wonderful location

Great location stepped right onto beach. Upper deck was a morning sanctuary. Kitchen sink was odd regarding hot water availability. Beach was beautiful, unfortunately double red flags are out. Recommend and will be planning a return trip.
