Cozy new cabin on a dirt road on Porter mountain! Nestled on a 1 acre lot, there is a lot of privacy, pines, and quiet. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, sleeps 6. Huge front and back covered decks with seating, a grill/smoker, and an outdoor fire pit. State of the art kitchen and open floor plan. Nestle up next to the fireplace or walk to the nearest trails! Located just a short 10 minute drive outside of all the action in Pinetop and Show Low. Just 35 minutes away from Sunrise Ski Resort. Pets allowed upon pre-approval only.
Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Love the wood smell as soon as you enter. Completely stocked with everything you need for cooking. Loved how this was away from everyone. Just a short drive off of the main road. Will definitely stay here again.
This place is even better than the pictures. Has a full kitchen with everything you need to make meals, beautiful rooms with tons of blankets and a Cozy fireplace. Kids and dogs Loves running around outside. Plenty of space for everyone. This is a really nice place to stay. Iâd highly recommend.
Very clean, well stocked, spacious yet cozy home. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. You get waves from neighbors instead of 'STR' glares. Conveniently located close to Wilderness Ranch disk golf. Easy access to Lakeside and some fantastic restaurants. We'll be back!!
A great cabin! Loved the personal touches provided by the owner - Christmas decorations and a tree! The cabin is really well set up - kitchen was easy to cook in, lots of blankets for snuggling around in the living room, and nice bed rooms. Little off the beaten path - but if thatâs what youâre looking for itâs perfect. Would love to come back and explore the near by hiking trails - theyâre just too muddy in the winter. Overall this rental was a great experience!
The cabin was very nice and appeared to be very new! It is in a great location. Wifi was spotty but that was expected and the owners let us know before booking. The main shower is beautiful but hot water didnât last long. I wouldnât recommend this cabin for families with small children but it is great for adults or families with older kids.
The property was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The front and back porches were wonderful to enjoy the cool mountain temperatures. Property was very dog friendly and our two dogs enjoyed hanging out on the porches with us.
Good location, pretty central to Pinetop/ Lakeside and restaurants.
The only downside for us was the pet fee ($300) which was higher than we've experienced w/ other VRBO rentals.
We came up here for a long weekend to celebrate Fatherâs Day weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for. The house is nestled in the forest which gives you a 360 view of tall beautiful pine trees. They are dog friendly so we were able to bring our fur baby as well. The house is close to a lot of nearby lakes which we enjoyed for fishing adventures. The only thing to keep in mind is that the house is a little bit of a drive from town so make sure you have everything you need before settling in for the night. Like other reviews, the pictures on the listing donât do the house justice. The house has nice tall ceilings with skylights in the living room for natural light. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Internet was a little in the slow side but that wasnât the end of the world for us. The shower in the master bedroom is awesome (if you know, you know!). We also enjoyed the fireplace out back every night as well as playing cornhole out front. The other advice I have is if youâre there on a weekend and want to eat at the Hungry Buffalo (closest restaurant around), make reservations or go early. The place gets packed quick! It has great food and a fun atmosphere.
This was a beautifully equipped cabin, even better than the pictures. The large lot and country setting was so relaxing and wonderful for taking long walks. The huge patios were great for playing games and sitting outside listening to the rain. Loved our stay!
We were greeted with banana bread and blueberry scones upon arrival, very nice touch. The house seems brand new, great cabin feel with inside and outside fireplaces. The kitchen was the best well stocked kitchen in my VRBO experience . The house backs up to national forest, with hiking and mountain biking within a half a mile. There was a lot to do in the area, at least 5 hiking trails, a gun range, and our favorite restaurant the Hungary Buffalo were all within 5 miles from the house, it sits outside pinetop about 6 miles. The house is perfect for a small family. We rented it for two weeks to escape the heat. The only downfall was internet and phone was very bad. We couldnât download a movie on Netflix. They have plenty of cable channels and a two week break for two boys off electronics was a well needed break! For working purposes, I couldnât work from there on zoom calls, video wasnât an option and I was about a 3 second lag when speaking. For a vacation house for skiing or beating the heat in the summer, it is great! My family loved it!
A lot of care went into this house. The smell and beauty of the wood inside the house was almost as calming as the forest outside. My family (including two small kids) enjoyed all the space to spread out, including the amazing master bedroom and front and rear covered patios. In the future, I look forward to being able to use the outdoor fireplace (there were National Forest fire restrictions during our visit). The backyard is a work in progress but has lots of potential for family recreation while maintaining the natural beauty. A trail system in the neighborhood would also be awesome for attracting future visitors. This will help create the full indoor and outdoor experience.
My family and I really loved this place! Great kitchen, shuffle board and corn hole. If you want a get-a-way that allows you to escape the hectic way of life this is the place. If you like to cook you will love the knives! Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were fantastic.
