**Ground Level:** Rec room with pool table, wet bar, semi-private Queen bedroom, and laundry area.

**Mid Level:** King main bedroom with deck access and a Queen main bedroom, plus two bedrooms with deck access sharing a bath.

**Top Level:** Huge living space with a 50” TV, equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, spacious dining area, half bath, and access to the rooftop sky deck with ocean and sound views.

**Amenities:** Private pool, hot tub, WiFi, 6 TVs, games, picnic tables, and more. Beach Access: 250 yards.

You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Love this home but was a bit disappointed this year

We have stayed several years here at Sandcastle and choose this as our place to stay every year now. We want to continue to stay here in years to come so hopefully they'll get things back on track.

Decent but not fantastic

Bedrooms were good sized, kitchen was well-appointed. Shared living area was spacious and pretty. But carpet throughout the house is gross and really needs to be replaced. Exterior of house is weathered. Pool needs some sort of shade.

Nice, but worn

This house is definitely big enough and close to the beach! However it was not cleaned very well before we arrived. There was pet hair everywhere, including in the bed, so I questioned whether the sheets were even washed. The shower curtain has been ripped out of the wall in the downstairs bath, so we all had to share the two upstairs. Carpet and furniture is stained and worn and the pool light didn't work. I would stay again if it received some care and updates.

Sandcastle needs an update

The house had enough space for nine of us, but the quality was not what we expected. The furnishings and appliances are old and many have broken parts and show their age. The walls need to be painted or at least cleaned so the dead bugs spots aren't visible anymore. The ceiling fans were covered in a thick layer of dirt and dust. Also the counter is pulling away from the wall by kitchen sink, so moisture/mold and ants are present. On a positive note, the pool is nice--good size for a larger group with plenty of deck chairs and loungers.

Nice, comfortable, but a bit worn after summer season

Great property with all the amenities! Pool, hot tube, pool table, plenty of board games, PLENTY room for all, 2 refrigerators, 2 dish washers, great kitchen lots of outdoor seating, new washer/dryer, decent beach chairs, umbrella and cart. Not too far to the beach. TV/cable in every room. The home was well prepared before arrival, cleaned top to bottom. We stayed in mid September, end of the summer run, so some cosmetic things, carpets were stained, light colored furniture was stained/dirty. A number of the outside light bulbs were burnt out. Hot tub jets were not working. Please get some shorter pool sticks! All in all, very enjoyable and would recommend as a location to stay for parties of 8.

Horrible smell, great location.

The house and location were great. The house was decently clean. The biggest issue was a bad fish smell inside the house and fridge when we arrived. It was terrible. There was a bad odor out front in the trash cans as well. Smelled like someone left seafood out to spoil. We couldn't sit outside much because it was so overpowering. Vacasa did contact me about the smell in the house however due to poor reception I got the message late. I would rent the home again, had everything needed for a beach stay. The outside of the home could use some new paint to make it pop. It was a bland white color and you could see every blemish. We enjoyed the inside of the house. The pool was great but the skimmer was broken so we didn't get to clean the leaves and bugs out and didn't use it as much as we could. Aside from the kinks the location was excellent. We had a great time and would rent again.

Old carpet, moldy bathroom, stained linens and pillows and had bugs indoors

The Kitchen and pool from the pictures is how we picked this property and proximity to the beach. Great location and great remodeled kitchen but the rest needs attention asap. The exterior is run down, the pool room is so tight you can’t play pool! All the throw pillows and blankets and comforters are stained and old it’s gross! The carpet is everywhere even on the stairs and needs to be replaced. The kids in the bottom floor had bugs and spiders on their bedding daily. They didn’t want to sleep down there after the second night. The jack and Jill bath is old and moldy and the toilet seat and fixtures were awful.

We loved the home, cleanliness was an issue

The setup of the house was great! Nice and roomy and bright. Perfect beach house vibe! Kids loved the pool although it became very dirty from 2 storms early in our stay. There were also ants on the kitchen counter we battled the entire stay. If the rates were decent and the cleanliness improved we would stay there again.

Great stay

The location was better than expected with beach access just a short walk away. We biked to restaurants. The house is spacious and kitchen adequately stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. It was clean and comfortable. A steal for the price we paid of around $300/night

Sandcastle Serenity

This house was spacious, comfortable, beautiful and within walking distance to the beach. The location was great as it was all within a mile of Corolla Light, the Currituck Lighthouse, and the Corolla Adventure Park. We also rented bikes from Corolla Light and biked down to TimBuk II shopping center. The only critique I have for our stay is 1) more toilet paper, 2) more paper towels, 3) more garbage bags. Thankfully I had brought another roll of paper towels and 2 extra garbage bags. This is particularly important in the off-season when you have to do more cooking in the house or bring food home due to weather/lack of outdoor seating/etc.

Heated pool problem

We wanted a home with a private heated pool, as this home was. However once we arrived the pool was extremely cold, was told the heat was broke and would not be fixed. We were unable to use the pool since it the water temp was to cold. They did refund me the money to heat the pool without any problem.
