We had a comfortable stay and the property was very clean. We had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the location, which was close to everything that we came to town for.

Great Spot for Olivet Families

Easy entry/access, close proximity to ONU, and priced right. The place was comfortable and cool on a hot summer trip up for freshman orientation. We'd for sure stay here again.

Comfortable stay near Olivet!

We loved staying here! The apartment was super cute and comfy!!! It had everything we needed! It was about 5 minutes to get to campus. Great stay!

Great place to stay when visiting Bourbonnais

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable property. It was very clean. Loved that there was a Keurig coffee maker with Kcups available as well as all we needed for our coffee. The hosts were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again when we need to come to Bourbonnais.

When we arrived, I genuinely thought we were at the wrong location due to the condition of the shared front and back yards. The areas were littered with toys, trash, and various household items. I even recalibrated my GPS and drove around the block trying to find the correct place. First impressions mattered, and this was concerning, especially since I was unfamiliar with the area.Inside, there were multiple issues. The stove did not work consistently—the large burner would not light properly and only partially ignited when it did. There was no cutting board provided. The space felt more like a college apartment than a prepared short-term rental. There was visible trash under the beds, couch, and next to the coffee table, which raised concerns about overall cleanliness.Basic supplies were also lacking. We were left with one new roll of toilet paper and four partially used rolls, along with a mostly empty paper towel roll. There was only one kitchen towel and one washcloth provided, and no hand soap. The advertised hot chocolate packets were also not available. Additionally, one bath towel had a hole, and there was a noticeable smoke smell coming from adjacent units.Overall, this stay did not meet expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, or basic amenities. This was not a good VRBO experience.

Comfortable home

This is a great home with great hosts. The home is a great alternative to staying in a hotel when visiting the Bourbonnais area. The home was very clean and well supplied. The hosts were very friendly and quickly responded to any questions we had. I fully recommend this home to anyone visiting the Chicago area, or if you have a student at Olivet Nazarene University.

The house we had was just incredible! The whole place was well kept, clean, gorgeous, and absolutely welcoming. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was like we were in another world. The decor was fantastic, the place was quiet and peaceful, and the tiny touches around the place were wonderful, right down to the little notebook of greetings from previous guests. I will absolutely stay here again if we're ever in the vicinity, even if we have to drive a little longer!

Clean, quiet and accessible

This is where I stay when traveling with my 80+ year old mother. There is a single step up from the back parking lot into the apartment then everything is level. The neighborhood is quiet even though I saw numerous children. Gas, groceries, and shopping are close. Clean and well stocked. We will absolutely stay here again.

Chicago trip

The stay was amazing. Great location and everything we needed was there. Never had to ask for anything as it was already there and in place. We were an hour from Chicago, which is where we toured everyday we were there. The local I HOP was amazing to eat at along with the Friday's. Would recommend to anyone the stay. Shirley

Beautiful, well-thought-out home

This property was the best we’ve stayed in. The owners really thought about how to make their guests comfortable. The home is well-supplied with all the extras. I even asked where I could buy the pillows. Communication with the owner was top notch. We were so pleased with every aspect of our stay. We will always stay there when we’re in the area. ❤️

This is a gem! Come on in!

You can tell these owners care about the property and did so many little things to make us comfortable- little candy squares, water bottles, Kcups etc. The beds are comfortable with quality pillows and bedding. It is quiet and conveniently located to Kroger’s and Walgreens. The only drawback is the initial curb appeal since some of the other owners don’t take as much care with their exterior areas. We had a great sister’s weekend and would gladly ask for this unit in the future.

Was nice and spacish so was able to support my family visiting during the night which was really nice. Was also super close to alot of places to eat and overall nearby which made getting stuff super convenient. My only issues was the floor were kinda dirty so my feet got a little black from walking on the wood. There was also opened season packets ontop of the fridge which thought was odd. Overall though was a very nice experience and made for a nice trip.

There was a mildew smell in it. The hot water would only get luke warm (wondered if the hot water heater has an element going out). Sheets were left in the dryer. Floor felt gritty on bare feet. I was not satisfied with this property. Very disappointed as I was there for my daughters baby shower over the weekend.
