We had a lovely stay at Holly Creek. The host communicated thoroughly, our cabin was clean, and the grounds provided options for outdoor activities, like yard games and the pool. It's peaceful and relaxing, if your ideal vacation is constant activity, look elsewhere.
Plenty of room in the cabin surrounded by beautiful tall pine trees. It was raining but was still a great get a way for me and my wife. We will be back
We love staying at The Yellow Rose cabin at Holly Creek. It fit our needs perfectly. The only tiny issue we had was that there were gnats/fruit flies in the cabin. Not overrunning but enough be to irritating when we ate. We are making plans to return.
Simple, clean, new cabin in a pretty, quiet setting. A bit rustic. Not very impressed early on, but once we learned how to work the A/C, discovered neatly placed hooks for hanging things, and other unique characteristics of the cabin, we began to enjoy it. Try it and enjoy.
We had the best time.. I over packed because i was nervous that they would not have the utensils i needed but they had everything you could possibly need.. The only thing that i did not see was a mixing bowl but if i had not brought one i could have used a pot. We will definately be going back!!have the utensils
We had a great time and enjoyed our trip. We did have trouble with the internet, which made it difficult to use our devicesâŠ. Which might not have been a bad thing.
This cabin would have been nice if the A/C units would have worked. The bathroom toilet and shower were filthy. This is definitely a place for outdoor activity driven people. The 4 person capacity upstairs was unbearably hot and made for measurable sleeping. We had to cut our trip short because it was just to much to ask of our children to sleep one more night in that environment.
Everything was beautiful, the only issue was not having Service/Wi-Fi for majority of the trip. We stayed 5 days and they didnât fix it until the 4th day. 5th day was check out. We did enjoy our stay & will definitely be back.
Quaint little cabin in the woods! Everything you need for a weekend stay.
House is adorable, well equipped and in a beautiful setting. The only thing I would change is the directions. And a sign out by the entrance to the property. We came in after dark and had a little trouble spotting the gate Otherwise it was a lovely weekend getaway. Wish we had more time to stay. Loved it
It wouldnât be a bad place to stay if it was just 4 of us. The 3 beds that are âupstairsâ are just mattresses on the floor. There is no air conditioning in the âloftâ so the boys couldnât sleep up there (it was in the high 80s-mid 90s during the day) even with the air conditioners downstairs set to 71 it was too hot in the loft to sleep up there. The stairs to the loft are super steep and the entry way is about 2 1/2-3 ft high so it was hard for me, even being 5 ft 2, to get into the loft. If you intend to have a party of all adults I wouldnât recommend this cabin, but if you go in cooler weather and with kids that can climb stairs well then I would recommend it. It was clean, well furnished for it being a rented out cabin, and only about a 20-25 min drive to Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown. And about a 10 min drive to a Walmart and grocery store. There was our own picnic table and fire pit so that was nice. Over all it was worth the stay I guess, I was just really disappointed in the âsleeps 8â part, when 3 of the âbedsâ (mattresses on the floor) werenât even usable due to no air conditioning and one of the boys had to sleep on the couch when I paid a lot of $$$ for us all to have a bed. Also, there were no lights on down at the pool the first 2 nights of our stay even though itâs supposed to be open til 10 or 11. I called the first night and got no answer, and the second day I called again and was told they would have someone come out the following morning to turn the lights on by the pool for our last night. So the kids were pretty bummed about that too. Good thing they were able to swim in the cold river to make up for it. Like I said, it wasnât a bad place to stay, it just wasnât really advertised as well as it could have been, and the pool was one of the reasons I picked these cabins and the boys couldnât even swim in the evenings when we got back to the cabin because there was no lights
